The company was very professional. Once we set a date and time for them to come out and provide an estimate, they called the day before to confirm who was coming and time. The estimator was professional, efficient and informative. The estimate was provided the next day and the company followed up after to see if we had questions. They also followed up when indicated we went with another company. The primary reason we went with another company was their ability to provide the exact flooring we wanted directly, and the price was a little less. I think Unique Floor was competetive and I would contact the company again for future projects.

I was assisted by the owner when I walked into the store, I selected 2 colors of laminate that I wanted to have brought to the house to see how it worked with my kitchen cabinets, an appointment was set up that day for measurements. Jason came to my house with the samples and measured the space, gave me an estimate and I decided to go ahead with the job. On the day of installation, 2 installers came right on time, began work, were courteous, efficient and the job was finished in one day. The floor is beautiful and I am very pleased with it.

I saw a coupon for carpeting through Unique Flooring in December. We needed carpeting replaced in our house in late January or February. We went to their store in December and selected a carpet. Sam said he would honor the same price when we decided to get our service done even though the promotion ended in January. When we were ready to install our carpet, we contacted Sam. He came to our house to measure the space and allow us to select from the various carpet options again. The price was hundreds of dollars less than an estimate we received from another company. I asked if they could do the installation very early in the morning and I scheduled for the installation to happen at 8AM. The guys actually showed up at 7AM because Sam told them that I wanted to get things done very early. The carpet installation went very smoothly. We will definitely go to Unique Floors if we decide to update carpets in the new house.

Jason was professional and arrived on time as scheduled. He was extremely informative about the different flooring selection and product qulity. He even mentioned if I have a quote for the same qulity product that was less to let him see it and if comparable they would match the price.The only reason I did not use them was I did not know tile was underneath the carpet. I decided against flooring at this time.

The work turned out really well. The work was fast. He came and showed me samples, shortly after I called. Within a few days after that they came and laid the floor. There was a problem with some of the quarter round and I called them and within one day they came to fix it. I would use them again and I have recommended them.

The guy who came out was a very nice guy. He was a well spoken younger guy. He gave ideas on different options and he was very knowledgeable. I was appreciative of his ideas. I did get a refund for the Big Deal as I did need wider planks and that was not covered under the price. They seemed like they would do good work, if I had used them.

We could not be more pleased with the entire experience. From sales to completion...fantastic! Jason helped us with selecting the materials, providing information about all the available products so we could make am informed choice. He came out and did the measuring & estimating for the job. He was prompt in getting back to us and setting up a start date. When we called in to the office, Maria was very courteous and helpful. Then the installation...the workers were punctual, courteous & flexible with our requests. They worked seamlessly together. The time table was met all the way through-very impressive for a job of this size. The staircase they made is spectacular...gorgeous! We cannot give enough praise to the quality of their work. We will recommend Unique Floor to everyone contemplating flooring of any type.

The owner was trying to get them to cut corners. They left glue on the floor. They tried to take the extra flooring that I payed for with them. There was a guy that came to do the stairs and railing who was subcontracted thru this company and this company wanted to charge me extra for the work they did.

We were really happy with the finished product, the process was exactly as the person who gave the estimate said it would be.

We found dealing with Unique Floor to be a frustrating experience. They gave us somewhat reasonable pricing, but we certainly got what we paid for. There were constant problems getting an accurate invoice, they accept no responsibility for workmanship once they leave the job site, and the manager felt it was appropriate to leave 5 minute long voicemails threatening to take me to court after he charged me for work that was never performed. The installers were fast, but the apprentice looking guy kept dropping things on the planks (like his measuring tape) so there were knicks in several edges. When the installers finished, we asked why the flooring didn't lay flat. They told us that it would settle in & lay flat within a week and that it would be better once we put furniture in the room. Well, it never did lay flat and still has waves because of the amount of tension across the planks. When we had another company come fix a scratch, they asked us if we knew the floor had been installed incorrectly. Buyer beware when dealing with this company.

He tries to find you a good deal. They do very good installations. They have very quick turn around time. They are very knowledgeable. You have a good selection.

We were in the market for new carpeting for our master bedroom and consulted Angie's List for a local, highly rated sales and installation contractor. We settled on Unique Floor and are glad we did. Sam spent the time to explain the various grades of carpet, the pros and cons of each and provided an initial estimate based on measurements we brought with us. They sent someone to confirm the measurements the next day and lowered their quote based on the actual room diminsions. We placed a deposit and the carpet was installed the next week. The installation crew did a fantastic job and we are very pleased wih the results. The carpet is exactly what we wanted and the entire staff at Unique was professional and very pleasant to work with.

I recently bought a condo which had white builder's carpet in it. The carpet had seen better days, and because I have dust allergies, I decided to install hardwood floors. I decided to shop around and Unique Floor was on my list of showrooms to see. In the showroom, Sam, the manager, showed me some samples and steered me towards a couple of different products. He then set up an in-home measurement and estimate. Jason came to do the measurement and was very helpful and informative. I received a couple of estimates (based on different wood options) by email later that day. Unfortunately, I was really enthralled with the wood samples I had seen, so I had decided to go with a different installer. Unique Floor called to review the estimate with me and when I told them I had decided to go with a different installer because of the wood option, they informed me they could order that same wood (just didn't have samples in the showroom) and install it for me. Their bid for my preferred wood was lower than the other installers and they had been working hard for my business, so I decided to go with them. They placed an order with the manufacturer in mid-December and my wood was back ordered. I was given a delivery estimate of 1-3 weeks after the holidays (meaning no later than mid-January). At the end of the first week of January, I called to check and see if they had an updated estimate. They told me they'd have to check with the manufacturer, but it wouldn't be any later than the original estimate. Unfortunately, no one followed up with me. A week later, I had already lined up other contractors to do work contingent on the floors being completed. I called Unique Floor to gather some additional information and that was when Sam told me my delivery was delayed another week and they had originally found this out around New Years. I was quite frustrated since I had been proactive and called them a week earlier and was told something completely different, and then had scheduled other contractors and activities based on a mid-January installation. This was the only negative of my experience with Unique Floor and is why they received a "B" for responsiveness. At my request, Sam did work with the manufacturer to lock down a "high confidence" delivery date which indeed was 1 week later than the original estimate. I was able to rearrange my other activities to accommodate this schedule change. Because the wood was delayed, Sam did offer to have a team come out and remove carpet and lay cork (for sound insulation) before the wood arrive so that they could do the wood installation in less time. Majeed and his team came out and worked very swiftly. The wood arrived and Majeed and his team came out to start the installation. Removing approx. 30 sq ft of ceramic tile ended up taking half a day, so they only laid down about half of the wood on Day 1. On Day 2, the team managed to install the remaining wood and apply shoe molding in less than 3 hours. They broom swept the area, removed all the carpet, saved some tile for my future use, and otherwise did an excellent job. Overall, I'm incredibly pleased with the quality of work and the perseverence of the team at Unique Floor.

Sam is very knowledgeable and his prices are quite reasonable. We did shop around a bit and found his prices the most reasonable and decided to take a chance. The installer on the laminate floor (Luis) was excellent and trustworthy. He paid close attention to detail (particularly on the quarter round installation) and he needed to move a refrigerator, gas stove and pool table without damaging the floor and maintaining the hook ups for gas and water. We are very pleased with the laminate floor product (Armstrong) and the quality of the installation. A separate crew installed the carpeting on the stairs which is a very nice quality remnant that Sam offered us. The job was done while no one was home. The job was well done and they were very trustworthy and locked up the house as instructed. Overall, we were quite pleased and would be willing to recommend them and use them again in the future.

Overall, the experience was really good. We went with them mostly because they had the carpeting we wanted and they did a good job.

I took advantage of a coupon on Angies list to replace the carpet on the stairs with hardwood. I was contacted by Unique Floor within 30 minutes of signing up for the coupon. We discussed how to size the job, including pictures, so that they could do their estimate on line without a home visit,, something that was important as we were trying to get the job done before the holidays. We were also able to schedule the work within 3 days. The technician was on time. He took great care to protect our exisiting flooring, vovering it with plastic. He had all of the tools necessary and set up outside for the necessary sawing, etc. He even supplied his own power. The installation was superb. Not a gap to be seen, quarter rounds matched perfectly. It totally transformed the stairwell. Technician worked straight through without even a lunch break. He went over in detail the warranty, and pointed out tips to keep the wood looking immaculate. I wish I had known of this company when I did a laminate floor in the basement. Will definately use them again.

Sam and his crews provided professional services and a high quality level both in the product selection and installation processes. Unique provided flexibility in scheduling and was very responsive to requests and adjustments. I would recommend Unique for those needing new floor coverings.

Salesman came at the appointed time to measure and discuss options. Within 24 hours, we received an estimate via e-mail for the work to be done. A date and time was arranged to perform the work.. Workers showed up at the designated time and performed the work to our satisfaction. Everyone was easy to work with and very professional.

Unique floors gave me a fair price for the carpeting, and was very easy to work with when I decided to remove the parquet flooring myself instead of having them do it. The crew that came to install the carpet was very good, prompt and efficient, and didn't mind at all coming back on a second day when there was need to install/level the floor in an area before they could complete the work. I'm definitely putting them on the list of providers I use and would recommend to my friends.
