Mr Gutter

I left a message on the voice mail service stating my needs. I received a call back the same day and scheduled the cleaning for several weeks out (their first available date). After cleaning the gutters they bagged the debris for garbage disposal and had it sitting out front. The gutters, roof, and yard all looked great.

We missed our winter gutter cleaning last year because of the bad weather so these guys had our very full gutters and downspouts to clean and check. They were courteous and professional and did a great job cleaning up after themselves with the minimum of disturbance to our landscaping. We are very happy and intend using them in the future.

I called the company. They take your information and come and clean your gutters in the following few days-- you don't have to be home ( a great plus). They leave an invoice, and if you are happy with the work, you mail them a check or go online pay with a credit card--too easy! The person I spoke to on the phone was helpful and pleasant and the work was done quickly and professionally. Would definitely use them again.

I spent $150 for the gutter cleaning and $595 on the repairs. He seemed professional and very punctual. They have a nice small business that is locally operated. They got here before I did.

Very well; appointment was easy to arrange, work was completed on time and was very satisfactory. Will definitely use again.

He also noticed a loose gutter that needed to be repaired and nailed it in for us at no extra charge. Good experience.

We spent $6,000 on that work and our interaction with them was great. It was prompt and courteous service and they even cleaned up around the yard. We would definitely use them again.

No problems. we've used his services for years. However, for a gutter cleaning, expect a 1 to 2 month wait. In fact, on occasion, we have made appointments 6 mos in advance, so I don't forget and let the gutters get too full.

Mr. Gutter (Bob Sumner) is my hero. After calling a couple of "handyman" services to get someone out to my home, I finally consulted Angie's List and got Bob's name. His wife called me promptly and we set up the appointment for 6AM this morning. (She told me he'd probably arrive around 5:30AM, so I was ready when he knocked on the door at 5:45am). It was POURING rain when Bob and 2 other men got there. I told him what had to be done and he agreed that the gutters had to be reconnected before the next storm or they may fall off completely. I asked when he could come back to do it and he said he'd do it right then and there. "But it's pouring rain," I protested, and he said he "was there to do the job. You go back into the house and stay dry and we'll get started." Well, I did, but I was very nervous hearing them climbing all over the roof, with the rain still coming down hard. In about an hour, he was done and everything was cleaned up. Gutters were reattached and leaves were bagged and thrown away--and Bob was ready to go on his next job. Mr. Gutter is prompt, professional and polite. I would encourage everyone to use his services.

Mr. Gutter was prompt in answering/returning my phone calls. They were kind, courteous, and reasonably priced. They showed up as promised and performed the duties which we agreed upon. They conveniently left the invoice at the property so that we did not have to be present when the work was being performed. I simply mailed the invoice with the payment. Although I would have preferred to be present to see the work that was being performed, it is difficult to be present during a 8-5 workday. I was thankful for Mr. Gutter's ability and willingness to accommodate my schedule in that respect. Mr. Gutter is a respectable and professional company, and I would refer them to anyone who needs a gutter cleaning.

As always (I've used this company for about 20 years) they arrived on time and performed their work quickly and efficiently. No muss, no fuss. I have never had a bad experience with them.

We would use them again and recommend them to others. He is an older gentleman and has been doing this for years apparently. He was very friendly and cordial. The gutter guards are holding up fine.

We have used them at least once a year to clean our gutters for about 3 years. I have been very happy with them. They are very easy to work with. They have a reasonable price and great customer service.

The cleaning always goes very well. He's also fixed leaks around the skylights several years ago that remain water tight to this day!

I had initially placed calls to several gutter gleaning companies following a big rain storm. The heavy rains had produced what I thought was flooding from the overflowing gutters and the oveflow had seeped into home staining the ceiling. The following day I received a prompt call back from Mr. Gutter and was told that their schedule was very booked but the owner agreed to work me in and placed me on the schedule at the end of their day. The owner arrived with a helper in tow right on time and within minutes started the job. As the gutters were being cleaned the co-worker raked the leaves in my front yard into a pile and bagged them up (Wow!). The roof was inspected as well as the gutters and I was told everything appeared to be in good shape. The job itself took about 10 minutes from start to finish but I felt confident that it was done properly. I will use this company again. Nice husband/wife team. Very accomodating.

I've used them for at least 10 years. They do a good job and are reasonable. They do more then just clean gutters, they also replaced mine last year. I'll continue to use them.

I was not home while they were out, however the work was fine. It was easy to get a hold of them to come out. I would call them back out in the future.

They arrived on time (6:00am) and worked diligently the whole time. He is difficult person to deal with.

A bit eccentric, but professional job cleaning gutters. Not cheap.

I left a message for Mr. Gutter on a Friday and received a return call on the following Tuesday (apparently Angie's List has generated quite a bit of business for this company). The work was scheduled for the following week. It was requested that I be at home since this was the first time Richard would have been at our house. He showed up early since heavy rains were expected later in the day. He was cheerful, energetic, unperturbed by the fact that the front outside water faucet was not working, and finished the entire job in just over an hour. He and his assistant cleaned the gutters and downspouts (which had not been done for some time), cleaned up afterwards and bagged all the debris.

Both jobs were perfomed well. Mr. Sumner does quality work at a reasonable price. He is conscientoius and meticulous. He is up-front about the services he provides and their cost. He seeks to develop a long term relationship with his customers by focusing on customer care.
