Mr Gutter

We've used Mr. Gutter for years now. I have Mr. Gutter come clean out the gutters about 4 times a year. They always do a fabulous job cleaning the gutters and the roof. They always clean up the area around the house too - the deck and the front of the house, so you'd never know they had been there. Mr. Gutter is always so dependable and does great work. We love Mr. Gutter!

He has been very good to do business with over the years.

We were satisfied with them. They came and did what they suppose to do and they cleaned the gutter and left. I never saw them. They did what we asked, so I would say I am pleased.

The service was good. One thing is that they cleaned up after themselves, so they didn't remove the junk and leave it there. They were quick and good.

Mr Gutter, unlike many other gutter cleaners, takes a hose up on the rook to make sure down spouts are clear and the water is draining. We have a huge pin oak tree in front of our house which has thousands of long thin leaves which could easily clog gutters in the fall. It also has things that are long and very narrow that fall in the spring. In spite of these challenges Mr Gutter keeps our gutters clean.

The gutter people were okay. They were fine. They came and did what they suppose to do. They charged us and left. Their price is reasonable.

Mr. R. Sumner is crusty old guy who chews on the stub of an old stogie, and when it's raining, he wears one of those dark green plastic leaf bags with slits to allow it to fit over his head and arms. So his presence is at first a little astonishing. But he has a heart of gold, and loves his loyal customers. They write "We Love You!" on every invoice. He usually has two helpers. His son also works a separate crew, and he's well taught and trained. He has been cleaning our gutters for over 10 years now and comes once every three months. We don't schedule the times, but he's always within a week of the prime times for cleaning in New England Woods, where we live. He comes in early Spring, early Summer, then once in Fall when most of the leaves have fallen, and one last time when the leaves are all down for the Winter. Usually the price is just $125 for roof cleaning and gutter cleaning, but this time he did two repairs to the upper gutters that had come loose over time and weren't draining properly. That was an extra $129. I don't think there's anyone in Fairfax County with his experience who could do a repair like that for $129! Took him 15 minutes, and the gutters ran like new all during the last tropical storm. They clean the decks and the walkways when they're done and collect everything that has come out of the gutters and bag it up for the garbage man. You might have to get in line for Mr. Gutter...but it will be worth the wait!

Mr. Gutter always does a great job, cleaning the gutters, bagging the debris, and sweeping up anything that falls on the deck. He's very busy, so there can be a wait to get him to come to your house. I signed up to have him come out twice a year.

The service went very well. He came and cleaned the gutters, and he did a good job. I don’t remember how much I spent on his services. My experience with him was fine. He did the job and the job was okay. If anyone would want to use him, they can expect him to do a good job and he also shows up on time. The staff members were really nice and they cleaned up after themselves.

He is great. He is a little more expensive but he is extremely reliable. We had some trees fall and my wife and I were traveling and my daughter called Mr. Gutter and he came out and put tarps on the roof top. This was on a Sunday morning and he got the trees off the roof. He cleans the roof as well as cleaning the gutters, sweeps the roof and inspects the roof. He always leaves a note with whatever he finds. He bags whatever debris he gets and leaves for us near the entrance door and we just set out for the trash. He is immaculate. If there are leaves and stuff on the lawn he cleans that for us as well when he is out. He is awesome. He also does minor roof repairs. We will continue to use him.

I called Mrs. Gutter in the morning and told her that my husband was going to be home that day. She was able to fit us into their busy schedule that day so i didn't have to take a day off of work. We thought our gutter needed to be replaced, but Mr. Gutter looked at it and said that nothing was wrong with the gutters. He just needed to clean them out. They were honest, efficient, and caring!

I have owned a home in the Springfield area for 4 years now and had not found a good gutter cleaning company until now. I used 3 other companies before but I'll never go back, Mr. Gutter (Richard) is amazing. He knows his stuff and he went out of his way to do much more than I hired him for. He fixed areas on the roof, reattached my back gutter which was starting to fall off and put in some screws here and there at no additional charge!! Additionally Richard also swept my front yard and sidewalk! Just amazing, I can't say enough good things about him, I will hire him again. Also, his wife Denise was so kind and accommodating during scheduling. Mr. Gutter is a breath of fresh air compared to other service professional companies!!

After two major fails with other companies, Mr. Gutter to the rescue. They were prompt, courteous and I did not have to schedule a month in advance. When service was completed, I received a very informative telephone call from the technician. I am very pleased and will use them in the future.

He's very honest and reliable. He comes when he says he will and always cleans up before he leaves.

Professional crew. Very efficient. Management is very accomodating. They said they were booked up for over a month, but they managed to squeeze me in anyway. The price was a little bit on the high side, but, then again, I'm not the one getting up on the roof. I had met the boss by accident a few months back when he had the wrong address on his work order. He struck me as a no-nonsense kind of guy that was going to get the job done right, no exceptions. We're definitely going to want to be on their regular route.

Very efficient and professional. Prompt service as scheduled and also went the extra mile. While cleaning up after the gutter cleaning they also cleaned up a bit extra around the yard. Mr. Gutter himself (the owner) is a very interesting man and the epitome of professionalism. First class service, will definitely use again in future.

Overall, it went very well. I phoned on a Wednesday and described the problem and what I wanted done (inspect all ridge vents/caps and repair as needed). Based on my description, Denise provided an estimate over the phone of approximately $290-390, depending on how much repair would be necessary and if any ridge caps needed replacing. After contacting other companies, I decided that the estimate was reasonable and scheduled the work for Saturday morning. Richard arrived on time, confirmed the job's scope and got right to work. He was very thorough and completed the work in slightly less than the hour estimated. Total cost for the job was $290. Richard was polite, professional, knowledgeable and gregarious, and we'll very likely request his services again for pressure washing and gutter work.

prompt, efficient and fairly priced!

Gutter cleaning on large 2 story home with attached 3 car garage and detached 2 car garage. Also small roof repair where a shingle had blown off. Price was $250 for the gutters and $100 for the roof repair (I had spare shingles). We have used Mr. Gutter for years (probably nearing 20). The experience is almost always the same. Does a good job, no mess left behind , very professional and he is a very personable guy. I say almost the same because as the years have passed he seems busier than ever. Just give yourself a couple weeks lead time. I made no reference to punctuality simple because we never even set a date or time, just a week that he would be there.
