There was a lot of houses that had to have new roofs around here from a big hail storm last spring. The waiting lists were terrible but I was really surprised. They just jumped in there and did it. They did a great job.
Description of Work: I just had my entire roof done by the Leonard Brothers. It was an architectural shingle roof.

Description of Work: I called twice to request them to come to my house for a quote. They never returned my first phone call and on my second I did finally reach someone. The lady who answered informed that it would be a $30.00 charge just to come out and give me an estimate and as of today's date they had 300 people ahead of me. I guess they don't need my business of a new roof. I'll go elsewhere!!

 + -1 moreSee above. I'm not saying they do bad work and Mr Leonard was very prompt in mailing out an itemized statement of the work that was done,but he relied on what the workers said they did as did I. I'm just saying get it in writing before they go to work as I should have.
Description of Work: They repaired a roof leak,all done in short order with explanation about what would be involved. Price was within estimate. My problem came when I asked for the remainder of the package of shingles they said they purchased at a nearby building supply. Their answer didn't make much sense to me, and after I pressed them, one finally said they would come back and put shingles on an outbuilding for free. The difference was only about $15.00, but it made me feel uneasy about the whole thing, plus they didn't leave a statement of exactly what they did and I had to call the office to have one mailed. The work has held up but I'm not sure I would hire them again unless they put everything on paper first.

 + -1 moreLeonards helped diagnose and fix a leak that another well known company in Johnson City was supposed to have fixed and did not stand by their guarantee. Leonard's provided same day service and even went the extra mile to help fix another problem not related to the current that the other company said was fine. They made a bad situation a positive one. Hands down will be using them if a new roof is ever needed and will tell as many people about them!

They showed up on time, with a full crew of professionals who not only appeared to have a great knowledge of the work to be done, but they also took pride in their work. They were kind and polite and were very safety conscious for themselves and my family members as we had to come and go during the day. What a great crew with will stocked and maintained vehicles to do the work required.
