"At first, I was glad to have hired Deck Buddy LLC, but at the end IK was totally disappointed that I hired them. I really hate to write this review; but I gave the company plenty of time and ever chance to fix a problem that occurred at the end. Initially they did a pretty good job and responded to my request to fix a problem, he was so responsive that when it was time to make the last payment; even though the company was not completely finished; I made the last payment. A big mistake. Once that final payment was done and the check cleared, the kindness ended. Alone with the deck I hired them to resurface my patio. He did it twice and the workmanship was very poor and I called him back for a third time and he refused. Even the contract we both signed had a workmanship clause that the company would not honor. The Contractor's name was Doru Pricope. I think as long you owe the company money; they will make sure that you were satisfied, I made the big mistake and paid off before I was completely satisfied. And I asked him to come out and inspect the patio and he refused. I asked him about the workmanship clause in the contract and why he would not honor it, he would not answer this question. But he did say: I did it twice and will not come out a third time because he will not make any money; and for me to hire someone else to do the work. I asked him to fix it or give my money back that I paid to have the patio done--he did refund me or fixed the patio. I even tried several times to get ahold of the office Manager by text, email and phone; with no luck. The phone number was not a working number stated by the recording when I dialed the number that was online. I do not recommend hiring this Company; because they did not honor their contract and satisfactorily complete the job with me."

"Absolutely terrible communication and poor workmanship. I have a contract to update my screened in porch. â 3 day jobâ started June 24 and now it is July 24. Havenâ t heard from anyone in over a week despite talking to Rob on three occasions about completing the project. Curtis stood me up for an appointment. Jay continues to ignore my communications and the original salesperson has apparently left the company. If you want a headache and a nightmarish experience by all means, otherwise, look past this company for your project needs. I take it at this point itâ s just not going to get completed."

"Project: small, ground-level deck and shed torn down and rebuilt exactly to same specs in Reston; no footers or concrete. Timing: Archadeck estimated a couple of days to a week to finish my project, but it took 6 months (Dec 2021-May 2022). They collected final payment in Jan and still did no finish until the last day of May. Reason: Some of this was due to supply chain issues, but a lot was due to communications and cash-flow issue on their part. Eventually, the worker dude finished it as a favor. I would hire him to work again, but not the company if that makes sense. I do not think it was his fault in the slightest. Afterwards: Was also told that Archadeck owner would stop by the site after a week or two to survey/thank, and provide sealant, but he never did. Feelings: I just do not get what was so hard about this. Work seems fine, deck seems ok... but communication was incredibly difficult. Would not honestly recommend it. In case it is helpful: 13K for ground-level deck and shed. Deck is composite. Shed was T1-11 (the typical Reston stuff)."

"Abdil came promptly in spite of unexpected road work coming into property. He work efficiently, expertly, and very friendly. We are without water, but Abdul used his own water bottle to mix materials. I highly recommend this company as they are so so organized, responded first and offer the best service, at a reasonable price. Difficult to find great contractors, this is by far my best experience yet! I intend to be a repeat customer. Thank you for all you do!!!!!"

"DO NOT use this company. I went through Lowes to have a composite deck built. Working with them was an absolute nightmare. It took them 3 months to even START the job. I discovered the reason for the delay is because when they filed the permit (which took them 6 weeks to do), the contractor's license was expired. It then took them another 5 weeks to update their license in order to get the permit. They ordered and installed a completely differently railing style than what was on the contract/design, then blamed me for the mistake. Rather than ordering a new product, they cut the existing one to make it work. I am now 9 months post project, and the railing has warped, the deck is sloped, and the overall quality is horrible. Worst of all, turns out they NEVER GOT IT INSPECTED! I learned that Lowes had to fire them due to MULTIPLE issues with the company. I am thankful I have Lowes to help rectify the issues, but if i didn't, I would be pursuing legal action against them!"
