Excellent. I was able to schedule the inspection quickly and the inspector was punctual. He did a thorough inspection and pointed out future actions to take. I will definitely hire these folks in the future.

It's still a work in progress, and probably always will be, but after one week noticed less signs of mice activity. I initially had a problem with a product description by the sales person/inspector, but my concerns were immediately addressed by two supervisors who made sure I had all the information I needed to make an informed decision. All my contacts with the company (inspector, field technician, office personnel, and supervisors) were all extremely polite and professional.

Was informed about the nest by a lawn care technician. Looked up the invaders and was surprised and a bit taken aback by the description online. What to do? I called Environmental Pest in Purcellville, VA., (this was in the fall of '18.) An appointment was scheduled - okay. The technician arrived, and I had questions. The tech was on point and impressive with his knowledge, and skill, (as I learned while watching, and judging by the results.). There was science driving the success of this operation. It was amazing and actually astonishing. He knew how to approach the nest, how to avoid nasty stings, how to dismantle the nest, and definitively determine the nest gone and not able to return, (he had to get the queen.) He tried to simplify it for me, but apparently carbon dioxide is a major factor. I needed help and Environmental Pest provided it. It could not have been done better.

Denny, came out and explained everything he was doing. He was very professional and answered all of our questions. He enclosed any areas that were access points into our home, put out traps at various locations, & sprayed in attic.

Great! We had a mice situation and they provided fantastic service. They were also incredible in responding and coming to my house quickly whenever I called. They are great!

Worker called saying he would be at house in 45 min. 2 hours later when he was not there I called and he said he had been there took pictures knocked on door but no answer. I was home at that time and heard nothing. My large dog didn’t even bark. He must have left so he said then called saying he would be there in 45 min but as I said above He never showed. We planned for him to return the following Wednesday but he never came. Won’t be calling them again.

Seems hard to get their attention. Have had to call them back for indoors service after they have shown up unannounced and only treated exterior. Latest issue is have found evidence of rats in kitchen. Called (on hold for over 5 minutes) then told earliest they can do something about the problem is a week away. Guess my expectation that prompt reaction to a problem is not part of service purchased.

This is our second year using Environmental Pest Control to keep mosquitoes away during the summer, and we're very happy with the service. I don't think we've seen a mosquito in 2 years, so we're definitely signing up for next summer.

The technician sealed multiple small holes in my garage where new pipes and electrical wires had been installed the year before. He walked me around the garage and the back of my townhouse to show me where he had sealed the holes and set out “mouse stations.” It was reassuring have him show me and explain the strategy to prevent pests. The traps were also placed inconspicuously in my kitchen, garage closet, and furnace area. The technician also assured me that the traps are enclosed so they are child, dog, and cat proof. The two larger outdoor “mouse stations” were placed on each side of my townhouse on the property line. I really like knowing that every line of defense was used to keep my home rodent free.

Environmental Pest Control has treated my yard this summer for mosquitos, ticks, etc. and my house this fall for general pests (ants, spiders, silverfish, mice, etc.). Their technicians are always sharp, take time to answer my questions and do a thorough application. Their treatments have been very effective and I have been very happy with their service. The cost shown is for the initial treatment, quarterly treatments are $99.

The initial visit technician Greg took care of an ant issues completely. His friendly manner, and thoughtfulness in telling me about himself and the other other technician that services my area was appreciated. Greg provided a sense that the employees that work for Environmental Pest Control work well together. He was very professional. Less than a week later mice were discovered in the house. Within 2 business days they sent Alfred Smith to address the problem. His kind and compassionate personality put me at ease instantly. He took extra time with me to go through every part of my house, and provided education on catching and preventing mice from entering. Alfred sealed up a variety of entry points into the house, and set up mousetraps inside, as well as bait traps outside. Both Greg and Alfred were polite and obviously loaded with experienced and knowledgeable. I have set up quarterly visits, and trust my home under the watchful eye of these two technicians will be pest free!! I would highly recommend this company, which came under the recommendation of my sister. I have also recommended them to someone I work with because they left me with a secure and trusting feeling.

pest service has been great, but the mosquito treatment did not really keep the mosquitos away. they were always back within a week, but environmental came back for warranty work to retreat every time I asked.

They made a great first impression by listening well, hearing my concerns and then taking time to provide various treatment options and reassuring me of how pet friendly their treatments are. Also, did not require any disruption of moving or prepping things in our home on the day of treatment. On the initial walkthrough, the service provider (Denny) offered helpful suggestions as to what should be removed outside to help deter the ant problem and to allow him closer access to properly treat the perimeter on future visits. Denny has been to the house several times now and he is always punctual, professional and thorough with each visit. It's so refreshing to see someone who is happy working in their job and gives you confidence that they are a subject matter expert. Denny is the ultimate professional and someone I would hire as a business owner. On their initial visit, I opted to have our gutters cleaned. The fee was very reasonable and the job was done well. We had so much success with everything else, we decided to try the mosquito control. We have a lot of trees and flowering plants and the mosquitos are always swarming in the backyard making the patio difficult to enjoy. After the treatment, we had almost a month of mosquito-free living. Again, it was a reasonably priced service, and we were extremely pleased with the results! I can't stress enough how satisfied we are with the service we receive from Environmental Pest Control. This is my first review on Angie's List. I just felt compelled to share my experience and hopefully help someone else when they are looking for a recommendation for pest control.

I cannot say enough good things about Environmental Pest control from their customer Service to their product and exterminators in the field. It was a challenging year with all of the rain we received in the spring and through most of the summer, yet when the rain took a break we were able to enjoy our back deck without being bitten. Towards the end of the summer the mosquito's were thick as the ground did not have a chance to dry out before the next rain storm. I called Environmental and they sent a staffer to come out and repeat the treatment. Not only was there no charge for this extra spraying, they were here within 24 hours of my call. There are so many companies that could take lessons from Environmental. I am extremely pleased with their services. Thanks especially to AJ, our tech who never let us down!!

All year I have been highly pleased with the service. Especially when I am here at home when the Technician arrives and we talk and he walks me thru the entire service. Also updating me with anything I should be concerned with. Personally service is BETTER when you can schedule it and you are on the premsises.

Discontinued servicing our area with no warning and the spraying did not keep away bugs as well as other services that we had in the past. Would never recommend this company!!

excellent as always but I TRULY wish they would change their telephone system so I can speak with someone when I call rather than having to push buttons and often times get a return call.

What a joke. Rep was here less than 15 minutes, stuck his head up in the attic without going all the way up, came down and told me there was evidence of squirrels. Asked me size of house and then proposed removing squirrels, making repairs and installing new insulation throughout at a cost of $8000. No pictures, no notes taken, no measurements, nothing.

We used Environmental Pest Control for our quarterly service for over 8 years while living in Leesburg and were always very happy with their service. We moved to the Winchester area about a year ago. Shortly after moving into our new home a very large hornets nest formed under our eaves. We posted a request for a quote on Angie's List and Environmental Pest Control was the only pest control service to respond. We were thrilled to find that they serviced our new location! They removed the hornets nest and are now doing our quarterly service. We would highly recommend their service.
