Needed to have our septic system pumped and decided to try Foutz since they had such good ratings and the last company we called was a no call, no show for the second time. The Tech did seem very knowledgeable, showed on time and did a good job. The Tech did seem very knowledgeable, showed on time and did a good job. However, we were told the service would cost $305.00. After the job was done and I go to pay the Tech, he tells me there is a digging fee of $75. This is the fourth company we have used for septic service and the only one who did not include all fees in the price quoted. I had talked to the tech while he was working, and the additional fee was not mentioned at all until I went to pay. Not disclosing all fees up front is a very deceptive practice and not something an honest company would do. I am not sure I would trust Foutz for any future work.

Joey Foutz was great from start to finish. We've been living in our house for 9 years and decided to have the septic tank pumped out. Some people say leave it alone while others say to have it pumped out every 3-5 years depending on how many people in the house. Did some research and the EPA and various universities have studies out there indicating that, yes, you should have it pumped out to prevent clogging your drain lines. So, checked with a few people, and Foutz Septic Service was recommended as being honest, reasonable cost, and no games. Called at the beginning of the week and was able to schedule an appointment for Friday. Joey showed up on time with his associate and got right to work. Within an hour he was done and had spent the time and effort making sure all sludge and contents were removed. He also noticed that the T pipe outlet had never been glued on, so he fixed that as well for no additional cost. The bill was exactly what he quoted and there was no gimmicks or anything. A straight shooter you can trust to get the job done.
