Jon was professional, punctual, and in constant contact. He provided great suggestions regarding the type of paint to use as well as color (based on his experiences). He checked in with us to provide regular updates and to ask if we were pleased with progress along the way. He also made sure we understood the cost implications of any needed changes (e.g. an additional can of paint if/as needed, etc.). No surprises at all! We are delighted with the outcome - our deck is like a whole new space now...we are looking forward to spending more time outside this summer. We HIGHLY recommend Jon/My Deck Guy...he personally does the work and takes great pride in ensuring customer satisfaction!

My Deck Guy did not actually do the work for us but we felt it was important to notate this review based on their character and professionalism. I contacted them to have our deck sealed and John, the owner, contacted me back immediately stating that he was ill and unable to get out to do a quote and recommended another company that may be able to help me that was closer to our area. Well he not only made a terrific recommendation that we were very happy with but he also followed up afterwards to ensure we were taken care of and if there were any questions he could handle or answer pertaining to our needs. We felt this was above and beyond what other contractors would do and it was necessary to give My Deck Guy a positive review based on this. Again we did not have any work done so we did not grade him on his performance but was very impressed by their professionalism.

My Mailbox Guy came out to give an estimate and the next day came back to install the new mailbox. They did a great job installing and cleaning up the mailbox area. We are very pleased with the finished product.

John Miller (owner) just completed our deck power wash and refinishing and we are very pleased with the results. John does the work himself and our deck really looks better than new. The deck looks better than it ever has, John power washed the deck to remove the dirt, mold and candle wax. He sanded the areas that needed it as well. I did not anticipate this, but he knows what he is doing, so I now understand that the sealing will last longer as a result. John then sealed the deck with Behr deck sealer. He was able to get me a discount on the sealer too! The rain was a challenge for him, but he worked his way around it and in the end the deck looks amazing. Thanks John.

We needed to have a very large deck cleaned and sealed professionally. We replied to an advertising flyer for a service estimate. The representative provided a written estimate that seemed reasonable for the job and recommended several different prospective products for staining the deck and went over the pros and cons of each. He explained that a stain would improve the appearance and would last a little longer than simply sealing the deck. The representative explained that based on weather and other commitments, the job would be accomplished over at least one weekend, and possibly longer. We opted for a fairly light stain and arranged for service. Upon completion, we payed the agree-upon service fee. The representative requested to return to review the job quality and returned for minor touchups to ensure an even and professional job. We added a tip and could not be more satisfied with the work.
