The provider did an excellent job. The new gutters, etc, were installed efficiently and with care. They invited us to inspect their work and explained the features of the gutter guards as we examined them. They were pleasant to deal with, and articulate, and they hauled away the old gutters and downspouts leaving no debris behind. The entire job was done in less than 2 hours. We were very pleased.

The owner, Thomas Kahn, came to our house the same day we called for an estimate. He gave us a written estimate on the spot. He explained his unique gutter system and showed us the materials he uses. His worker came quicker than the estimated timeline he gave us, and did a fabulous job. Our gutters are probably the original gutters (house was built in 1975), and were bent, coming away from the roof (my husband had tried multiple times to screw them back in), causing leaks behind the soffit, and even though we had installed a plastic grate system from Home Depot, dirt and debris constantly collected in the gutter. This gutter system is unique to all the other systems out there, and we are extremely pleased with the performance of our system. The price was much lower than we expected. We encourage you to research this system; we highly recommend it!

I just received an estimate but decided to go with someone else to have the work completed.

It went well. I did not have to be in attendance. The lead contractor finished the project and the gutter covers match my existing gutters. I saved money, I know I did.

They were a little pushy on the upsell which I didn't really like. The price that I paid didn't really cover much of the work that they said needed to be down. The quality of the work was good and did it quickly.

Tom and Matt Kahn both visited after I called them and gave me an estimate, well within others I had obtained. Having seen lots of video on MasterShield I was pretty sure this is what I wanted. They proposed new gutters, to which I said no and they removed them from the estimate. Had a $500 Big Deal coupon from Angies list, which reduced the price and which Tom said was the only time they gave discounts, using the Big Deal. Installation was scheduled two weeks later. Small problem on the timing of when the installer would come due to rain in the area. Installer was coming from Bowie,MD and I was in Vienna, VA, He kept looking at weather radar, which showed rain in Vienna. However, rain had stopped for some time, seems like upper level clouds with lots of water within reflected as rain. Calls to Tom resolved the delay and the installer and helper came quickly, ladder went up to a simple peaked easy slope roof, old covers removed, gutters reattached, cleaned out, MasterShield installed in less than an hour and everything cleaned up. Has been working fine, no complaint. Would use them again.

The entire process from contact, to quote, to contract, through completion of the work was outstanding. I used an Angie's List Deal for this work and it was completed promptly and better than expected. There was one confusion with the size if the gutter installed but this was resolved expeditiously and to my complete satisfaction.

I contacted the vendor and told him that I had purchased his coupon on Angie's List. He came out to my house to look at my gutters and then made an install date. Vendor showed up on install date and completed the work. Vendor was great to deal with.

Dealing with Tom, the owner, was fantastic. We went back and forth on how to use the Angies List coupon we had purchased and there was a little bit of confusion over what exactly we need to fix our gutter problem but in the end the whole process was great and we have beautiful new gutters. We elected not to have the MasterShield installed right away since our problem is more with how much water the gutters can hold during massive storms than with leaves getting caught up there, but we may go back for the gutter guards in the future. I am a Realtor on Capitol Hill and it is very difficult to find good contractors in DC, but this is one of them. Will recommend to our friends and clients.

Tom, the estimator was very prompt. We reviewed different gutter systems in advance and felt Master Shield had the best reputation. They met the schedule, installed the shield, left no debris and since then we have had several rains and the gutters performance is terrific. A quality group!

Tom was very responsive when I called for a quote, based on the Angie's Big Deal that was advertised. Matt came the next day and discussed our needs and options with us. Unfortunately, the Big Deal only applied to the entire house for gutter replacement and we only needed 1 section. However the product was superior and the price was competitve for what we needed.

This was possibly one of the best experiences I have had so far with a service provider from start to finish. Professional from the initial phone call through completion of service and so far with respect to follow up service as well. Tom is willing to answer questions, sticks exactly to the service we requested without trying to sell additional services and, although the estimate was a bit more than some other providers, I decided to go with Mastershield because of the visible quality and reviews of the product itself and the interaction I had with Tom. I recommend.

The demo was OK, I felt the water test on the sample allowed to much water to wash over the gutter guards. The cost for the gutter guards is HIGH. I felt Tim Nagle with Mastershield Gutter Protection was pushy about signing a contract. I passed.

We have no complaints. They were able to provide an estimate and perform the repair work while we were away from home.

Was quoted $2,000 to replace the front gutter and install Mastershield gutter guards. These are the top of the line gutter guards and the rep was very thorough and helpful. The price was just too high. Went with another company that replaced the gutter and installed a gutter guard (not as high quality) for $690but was 1/3 the price. If you are looking for the absolute best, give them a call.

We were very happy with the price, the service and everything. They were very reasonable price-wise. The product was quality or the type of product I was looking for was quality. They were very flexible in their scheduling. They were very responsive on the consults. I just had no complaints. I got bids from a couple of other people, and this guy wasn’t necessarily the cheapest, but he was willing to work with us. He was top notch. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

I don't shop around for prices so I look for someone with a good reputation and trust that they will perform. Most of the time that works. MasterShield has a good reputation and I have a background in building so the explanation of how their product is better made sense to me. If you live in an area with trees, your gutters can clog very quickly and the water back-up makes a mess. Make sure you understand the difference in the products on the market. Price is important but getting something to take care of the issue is the most important. I was very happy with my choice.
