The process of getting a quote for the services all the way through installation when very smoothly and quickly. The entire installation was done in less than two hours. There was some delay due to weather from the original installation schedule, but that was to be expected and the rescheduled installation was very quick.

Amazing workmanship and efficiency. They were timely, professional, thorough, and left our yard as clean as they found it!

The day of the installation, the truck got a flat tire. Got an email about 30 minutes before the arrival time with a notification of the flat tire and that they would come the next day. I appreciate they kept us on the schedule, despite the set-back. The team worked quickly and efficiently. They were friendly and knew what they were doing. An inverse guard was installed before we moved in and it caused a waterfall of water at our front door and back door every time it rained. A few days after installation of mastershield, the gutters worked wonderfully, and there was no waterfall. Great work.

The sales pitch for a fine, stainless steel mesh was compelling, the installation went fine. But when we saw water pouring over the gutters we called to have them inspected. Then we called again. And again. "We'll get back to you"; or not. After 6 months, we're having these fine-mesh guards removed and replaced with something that will let rain flow into the gutters.

My second story roof gutter was damaged by a large falling limb and rain poured from the damaged area. My gutter is a brand apparently not available in this area at all, and one contractor did try hard to help me find a new one. However, in the end I was told no replacement was possible. I called every single gutter company in the area and NONE of them would try to suggest a replacement or try to REPAIR my bent and leaking gutter. "We don't do repairs" is all I heard. MasterShield came out once and suggested new covers, but thought the area really needed replacement. However, because I had nearly reached desperation, they agreed to help me, and figured a way to re-shape the existing gutter, climbing to the roof via a very tall ladder and re-bending the gutter and fastening into shape. Perfect now. Not a single drip with recent heavy rains. I appreciate their good help very much. Just be warned: NO ONE IN THE WHOLE AREA WILL AGREE TO REPAIR YOUR GUTTER!!!

Matt was very easy to work with. He came out quickly to do a site survey and helped us come up with a way to divert one of our downspouts from emptying onto a concrete patio. They worked around our schedule with no issue (it took longer than we expected to get the rain catch so we had to reschedule the work). We're very happy with the results and would definitely use them again.

After preliminary contact with Mr. Kahn, he did not get back to me to schedule an inspection and estimate after repeated email attempt.

Matt Kahn and the team did a fabulous job. They were punctual, responsive, and highly professional. In our case, we needed to completely replace the gutters around our home which had aged and were not working well. Matt came out, assessed the job, priced it at a level we thought fair and competitive, and did the work, as promised, without any problems. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave any debris for us to have to manage. The new gutter system is working very well and, for the first time in years, I can actually hear rainwater going down the gutter pipes rather than dripping over the edge of our porch. Matt Kahn worked with me on price and they removed/installed beautiful gutters on the 50 year old house that I grew up in. My mother was thrilled with the workers (who were very respectful) and provided excellent communication on the installation time-frames and the project status. They did a terrific job cleaning-up the work site and my mother was absolutely thrilled with the final product. This company name popped up when I was searching for someone to repair or replace my gutters and to install gutter guards. Given the name of the company, it seemed like a likely contractor. However, no one had the courtesy to call me. Even a call saying the job was too small (as another contractor did) would at least have been a positive move. Very disappointed.

They never returned my phone call seeking an estimate. I am OK with a service provider not wanting to perform the work due to whatever reason they come up with, but there is an expectation of a return phone call.

It went very well. Matt, the owner, was on time. He was very honest with me. Because I did not have exposure to trees, problems with water flow, birds, squirrels etc. he indicated to me I did not need the Master Shield product. We further spoke about in greater detail the specific areas of my gutter that I was not happy with. He willingly referred me to a colleague of his who he thought would be a better fit for this job. I appreciate Matt's honesty. Should my needs in this area change I would look to work with Matt again in the future.

Working with MasterShield was a complete pleasant and happy experience. We looked at other contractors along with MasterShield, and none were comparable, professional, courteous, or prompt as MasterShield. Tom was on point for every discussion: he continually reviewed the project, swiftly answered emails, worked on the weekends as necessary, and completed the job to our satisfaction. If there was a detail we needed corrected, Tom immediately had his crew fix it. They re-hung our gutters for better water collection and replaced all the wood trim with composite material everywhere on the outside of the house. We are extremely pleased with the end result. Tom also stands by his work, so if we see a problem down the road, MasterShield will take care of it. Quite a few houses in our neighborhood are nearing end-game with roofs and gutters - we absolutely recommend MasterShield to any prospective homeowner. The installer arrived on time on the appointed day and installed the gutters and gutter guards and cleaned up and removed all debris.

We scheduled Tom and Mike Kahn for an appointment and they arrived most promptly. From the moment we met them, we realized we had made another good choice via Angie's List. Tom explained everything they would do regarding replacing and installing new gutters, along with the Mastershield gutter covers. We received a military discount, along with an Angie's List discount, and this really helped reduce the overall cost of the project. They said work would begin on 5 October and they were right on target. Their installer, Mike, was an Army veteran and one heck of a nice man--very polite, respectful, and listened to our questions and comments. The project started with removal of the old gutters, soffits, and trim, and Mike inspected the fascia board for any rot. Fortunately, it was all good. They hauled away all of the old materials immediately, leaving my yard in good order as they finished the first day. On the second day, Mike and his crew got to work immediately. With the open soffits, I realized I needed to install some baffles in the back part of the house and asked them to hold off on that 10 ft area. This was no problem, and they helped keep the area clear for me as they worked around me. Mike has told me that with the new soffits, I would be able to feel a breeze in the attic, caused by the natural flow of hot air leaving via the ridge vent, and the corresponding vacuum being equalized by the cooler air coming through the soffits. He was right! I could feel a slight breeze in the attic while I worked to install the baffles. Once the project was completed, Mike took pictures and walked me through every part of the perimeter of our home--ensuring we were totally pleased. I made a comment regarding a slight gap between the outside corner and the end of the gutter on the SW side of our home, and Mike's crew retrofitted a piece of aluminum to close the slight gap. The least favorite part of the project was seeing these guys have to depart for home! I liked the crew as much as I liked Tom and Mike Kahn. If I was ever going to move, I'd rehire them to install new gutters. We are well pleased with the results. Everything is now color matched, and we think our home has never looked better!

This is a very good company. They came and clearly explained to me what would be involved and why the master shield gutter and downspout system would solve the problems I have been having on my 40-year-old house. As a family owned company, you have the strong sense that they take pride in their work and they use veterans to perform the work. The installation team was extremely polite, punctual, and took obvious care and pride in their work. They are definitely not the cheapest option out there, but if you want good service and a system that appears to be built for the long term, this is a good option to consider.

That was a mixed experience. I wasn't totally pleased. He didn't line the gutter directly vertical. He had it lined at an angle. We needed to call them. I had to call them a couple of times. He came back and fixed the issue, but it wasn't done right the first time. They didn't charge me again for coming back because that's just a part of their job. I think the price was good of the service. It was easy to purchase. They eventually fixed everything right. They should pay attention to the detail more the first time around. The price was fine. They had to come a few times, eventually everything was fine. They called me back right away.

I'm sitting here 3 years later as DC racks up rainfall records watching the water flow through my gutters without a hitch. Time was, I'd be hanging out the window with a broomstick. Thanks MastersShield! They work so well I wish I could buy them again! But luckily I don't have to.

We contracted with MasterShield to replace the gutters on our house and garage. We would absolutely use them again. When they came to give the cost estimate, MasterShield was right on time. The work crew was right on time, worked through light rain, and began and completed the job on the days they promised. They cleaned up after themselves. The new gutters look great on the house, and work very well. I'm impressed.
