Description of Work: The estimate was more than I hoped for.

Description of Work: New 6" gutters and Mastershield over whole house. It was expensive but I have a lot of gutters and we got the larger size. Top notch professional. I only found one gutter nail in the yard after they left and considering the amount of debris they had, that's a pretty good clean-up. Everything working fine so far.

Description of Work: I had gutter covers installed. My gutters were clogging frequently and the gutters were overflowing. Ever since the guards were installed I have not had any additional issues.

Description of Work: I wasn't at home when the shields were installed but I am pleased with the installation and performance of the shields to date. The only concern I have with the shields is that during snow storms and the intense cold that we recently experienced, ice formed over the shield grids and did not allow the water from the melting snow to easily pass into the gutters. This resulted in some pretty large icicles forming overhead which was a bit scary as I had to pass under them when entering and exiting the house. Other than that, they perform flawlessly. | |

Description of Work: Team arrived ontime to do an assessment. Gave two quotes, one for install of gutter shield and another for complete gutter replacement. Both quotes were out of our range, so we did not move forward with the big deal.

Description of Work: Tom Kahn came to my home (while I was not present) and returned with an estimate of and additional $1,642 more than what I paid. When I asked him only to perform the work as stated in the deal, he indicated that if I paid an additional $595, he would do the work that was listed in the deal that I purchased. He totally misrepresented what he was offering and refused to perform the work for the price that I paid.

Description of Work: I purchased this deal to expect a estimate under our budget but it is actually much more than I expected.

Description of Work: Scheduling of measurement was on time. Received quote on time. The only issue was the material/product being used was too expensive to install on an investment property. If this was for my primary residence I would have installed them.

Description of Work: Removed old gutters Installed new ones Returned when we discovered one of the fascia board in one area had rotted out. Took down gutter in that area. Pulled off old fascia board Painted new board Installed new board Re-installed gutter. We are on our first day into hurricane Sandy. This is the first real stress of the gutters. Appear to work fine. We have a large maple tree in the front yard and have several inches of normal and hurricane caused leaf drop on our front yard. I specifically went out to check gutters earlier to day when it was pouring. Seemed to be just fine. Our old gutters would have been full of leaves and the water would have been pouring over the side of the gutters. Another real test will occur this winder when the gutters are iced up. I hope they work in that environment. I expect they will. These gutters are expensive but should be worth it in the long run.

Description of Work: Work took place in November of 2009. Tom came out promptly and provided a competitive estimate. The crew was prompt and efficient. The product works great and we have had no issues through two years. We selected Mastershield based on our comparative analysis. They were not the cheapest but we felt they had the best product.
