I was contacted by someone in California to make the appointment. That was a bit dicey as we kept missing each other on the phone, but they were very pleasant and easy to deal with on scheduling. Originally, I had wanted the aluminum stripping on my windows cleaned, but after I had taken the coupon from Angie's list, the company told me that they could not do that. So that was disappointing as the coupon had said decks and siding. But I kept the deal because I also had some deck to clean. When the man showed up to do the job, I could tell that he was disappointed that the job was not bigger. The Angie's list price of $179 was just for 200 square feet and that was about all I needed done. I think that this lower price is just a step in the door and that when the guy shows up, the price will go up considerably when you add railings, steps and maybe more square feet.. So just beware of that. I had a bit of a hard time convincing the man who did the job that that was all I wanted done. The only thing which I was disappointed with is that the deck is beside my windows and the windows were filthy when he left. It seems like there should be a courtesy to clean the windows before leaving. But otherwise, I was happy with the job done. The cleaned part of the deck looked great. I gave a B on price because of the fact that if I had needed a bigger job, I would have probably paid much more than I had bargained for.

I purchased this service through an Angie's List Big Deal. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to schedule service quickly and on a weekend I had expected them to be flooded with requests following the Big Deal offer. They arrived on time with the right equipment. Our unsealed wooden decks were turning green, but following the service they look natural again. It cost an extra $25 over the $129 price of the Big Deal to wash the stairs and railings, too. All in all we were very satisfied with the service.

They did the job while I was at work. Came home to a clean home - nice job!

The work was done in a timely manner and the young man doing the work was very nice. However, he didn't get the green mold off the deck. First he tried to tell me that was the color of the wood - it was green wood. When I showed him an area without the green mold so that he understood that I knew better than that, he told me that he would ruin the wood if he used enough pressure to get the mold off - which is most likely true. I asked about using clorox on the deck and he said he only used that on siding. So, I ended up scrubbing the deck myself with clorox which sort of defeated the purpose. I can't say I'm dissatisfied that I had the deck pressure washed but I can't say that I was happy about having to redo it myself either.

I called the company to schedule the service. I got a voicemail message and left a message. The company called back within 5 minutes and scheduled my appointment for 2 days later. They arrived right on time, were very courteous and professional, began work immediately, and were very conscientious. They checked several times to ensure I was pleased with the service. The deck looked very close to brand new when they left.

America's Best, Inc is not locally based, but has contracted workers in various locations, from what we understood. We arranged our appt. through the national number, based out of State, and the employee handling the call was courteous, answered our questions, and scheduled us promptly. The only "snafu" that happened was that somehow, that appt was not recorded properly and never got into the system, so no one showed up. When we telephoned, they were apologetic, and did not know precisely how that happened, but worked to reschedule it promptly. The contractor who showed up for our appt. called before he came, showed up promptly, was professional and pleasant. Most importantly, he was very hard working, took the job seriously, and did a great job on cleaning up significant green fungus on the siding and made the siding sparkle, and the front brick work look refreshed. If it is "kosher" to name names, we do like to give a thumb up to good folks, and the worker who came was Mr. Luis Ortiz. We would definitely ask for him by name the next time we needed power washing. We think this was a very good value for the great job done.

The Big Deal gave no indication as to the size of the home, or area that was covered. Because my home is a bit larger than a standard sized home, I didn't want to be surprised by an add-on price later on by the vendor saying, "Oh, the coupon only covers "x" square feet. You now have to pay a lot more to get the rest of your home done". So I purchased TWO big deal coupons to make sure I was covered. It seems a bit deceptive to me to not state the amount of area covered by the coupon. I suspect that many people have to pay the "up charge" after the technician gets on-site. When I called to schedule the visit, I told the person on the phone that, because of the size of my home, I had and intended to use TWO coupons. She said fine and scheduled the visit. The pressure washing technician came on-site. He asked me how much I paid for my coupon. I think he intended to say that my house was too big for the coupon and up-charge me, but I told him that I had TWO coupons and had paid almost $400 total for them. He called someone on the phone and spoke to them, and came back to say that everything was OK. He performed the required job. I was satisfied with the work. A few days later is when the problem occurred. Someone from their office called, stating that only one coupon could be used and requesting that I pay for the amount above the value of the coupon ... but were going to "be nice and only charge me the face value of the coupon I intended to use". This was ridiculous to me ... I bought two coupons ... told the dispatcher I was using two coupons... told the installer I was using two coupons (and he called someone to confirm that it was OK to use two coupons), he completed the work and THEN they call me days afterwards to tell me I can't use two coupons. The deal I made with them, is that I would request a refund from Angie's List for the unused coupon, and after receiving the refund, would I pay them. The person I spoke with agreed to these terms. All was fine until a few days later when the office manager called insisting that I pay the fee. I was furious. If they had told me up front that only one coupon was allowed, all of this could have been avoided. I reiterated to her that I would pay them only AFTER I received my credit for the coupon, and only then. A few days later, I received my credit from Angie's List. I immediately called America's Best and paid the bill. In short... the service was fine, but the administration was horrible.

I purchased the Angie's Big Deal for pressure washing of my home. I setup the appointment via email fairly easily. Note this company is in CALIFORNIA and I am in VIRGINIA. I had to change the appointment due to an emergency visit out of town and rescheduled for Dec 8th. On Nov 21st at 1:30pm Eastern I received a phone call and they told me: 1. I couldn't have my pressure washing done on Dec 8th due to "weather conditions" (note this appt was 2+ weeks in the future) 2. If I could not have my pressure washing done TODAY in the next 1 1/2 hours, I would have to wait until the SPRING. I explained I was an extremely busy individual and that choice was unacceptable. However, she insisted and I re-arranged my day to be there for the appointment which was in an hour from the time she called. 3. I called my husband and changed all of our plans for the day to accommodate them that same day. A very difficult task. 4. They called me back (while I was on the phone with my boss) and told me that someone else had taken that appointment and THEN SHE PUT ME ON HOLD. When she came back she said they had an appointment the next week from 1-3pm (which I was not available for ) - I asked for a morning appointment and she concurred, so I have an appointment but have no confidence they will show up. Why didn't they know that they "shut down" services in my area before they gave out the Big Deal and made appointments? Why, after they appeared to shut down services did they suddenly open them back up again? It appears to be a bait and switch to me. The woman I talked to was not compassionate and never apologized for the inconvenience they caused, she just laid down an ultimatum. I would not recommend this company due to their lack of professionalism and their disrespect for the time and schedules of their customers.

Bought the recent big deal for a exterior pressure washing. Seemed fairly easy to schedule, though it was a bit confusing to have to call Califronia to make the appointment. In any case, after rescheduling due to hurricane Sandy, the guy showed up and completed the work in about an hour. Straightforward and our house looks better, though not spectacularly. This was more of a preliminary to painting, however, so I think the results were along the lines of what I expected, especially given how old our house and the paint on it is. Not a miracle, but pretty good.

STAY AWAY FROM 'America's Best, Inc"! DO NOT PREPAY ANYTHING 'America's Best, Inc"! I bought an Angie's List deal to have my house power washed. So far, I have wasted 4 hours on a Saturday waiting. After the 3 hour window that the company insists on and no one had called or shown up, I tried to call 'America's Best, Inc". No answer. They left a message late on Saturday. They were so sorry. They just found out that their technicians did not show up. I was asked to call them and they would give me priority for the next appointment. When I called, Amanda was very nice and apologetic. She allowed me to complain and vent. She then offered me a number of options to reschedule. When I chose one, she gave me another 3 hour window to wait. I stressed to her that I was not going to wait for their company again. I asked for the first appointment of the day, on whatever day they chose. She picked today (11/16/12), from 8 - 10! Really? No. Tell me when they will arrive. Finally, she had a manager approve an 8 am appointment. She said that she called the technician to confirm. Great. We were all set. Today, after waiting until 820 am with no call and no cleaners, I left. I called 'America's Best, Inc" again. No answer. I left a message. No return call today. No more chances for 'America's Best, Inc". I am asking Angie's List for a full refund and I am warning you not to deal with 'America's Best, Inc"!

They did not show up within the time frame scheduled so we had to reschedule for another day. When he showed up, there was some haggling over price. The offered price was for a 3,000 square foot house but that is kind of silly because the square footage of the house is not necessarily an indicator of how much siding is on the house. The cost per square foot above the maximum triples. Once we finally got to what we felt was a fair price, the fellow did a very thorough, professional job. No complaints about the quality of the workmanship. The house looks great.

It went very well. He came on time and finished in a timely manner. The company itself was also very accommodating as I had some schedule conflicts and had to reschedule the service twice.

They arrived on time, was courteous, did their job, left everything the way they found it and then they left. They did a good job. The neighbor actually asked me if I had the house painted because it looked so clean.

The deck was inspected and larger than the dollar amount covered by the coupon. We were pleased with Luigi and his assessment of our deck. We asked questions about pressure washing and staining and decided to stain the deck after it was cleaned. He returned within a few days, with help, and stained (we purchased the stain) our deck by hand with brushes. No sprayer. They were neat, professional and very courteous. We will have them come back again next year to clean the deck. Thanks!

It went very well, would recommend them.

Overall was just ok. The guy arrived not knowing what he was there to do. I feel like he went a little fast and stopped to ask me if I wanted to risk visible wear to try and get some gunk off - but after he had already done so in a couple spots, which was plainly obvious.

Arrived on time, explained what was to be done. Toured the finished product to assess satisfaction. Well done.

I had a scheduled appointment with them and they didn't show up. I have called and get no answer and no one has tried to call me to reschedule.

The outcome was great. We have some very high windows and they were able to get up there and do the work with no problems. I recommend using them.

This is the 2nd time we have used America's Best, and they do excellent work. It all turned out great, they have been fantastic for us. We have so many windows, and some of them are extremely high up. It was very nice and convenient that they were able to reach them and get it taken care of. I recommend them.
