Description of Work: I used this company as a result of an Angie's List Big Deal. Apparently, the company was so swamped with tree work, it was difficult for Tom to come out and give me a complete estimate. He told me he was really backed up so I didn't worry about it for a few weeks. But when weeks turned into a month, I called him. After that call, he came out right away and completed all of the work on the same day. Excellent job--no debris left in the yard, as I have experienced with other tree service providers,and the gap where the tree was is ready to be overseeded in the spring.

Description of Work: After their services were posted on Angie's list, they were so popular that it was well over a month before the work could be done. Hardly their fault! They came first to look at our trees and determine what needed to be done. Then they gave us a clear and complete proposal, explaining any alternatives that were possible. They were very professional and the price was reasonable. They came back a few weeks later promptly at the time they promised, removed the dead branches and did the pruming agreed upon, completely to our satisfaction. The Heart of Wood is an excellent company.

Description of Work: Trimmed 2 trees. Through Angie's, I purchased a 199.00 credit for $400.00 of tree service. I agreed to pay an additional $100.00 2 trees to be trimmed.

Description of Work: Was in the area, so stopped by to do the estimate on the weekend. work was done earlier than expected due to a cancellation. Trimmed one tree and felled another in about 4 hours. Took away all debris and used blower to clean the yard, driveway, neighbors yard. Were very professional, friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Description of Work: Heart of Wood trimmed dead limbs from three large trees. The owner was professional and friendly and upfront about the fact that he was overwhelmed by the response from the Angie's List promotion and backed up. He ended up getting to my job sooner than he initially anticipated. My one complaint is that, after informing me that he would personally do the job, that was not the case.

Description of Work: I bought a $199 for $400 of Tree Service (The Heart of Wood). I received quotes prior to Angie's list ranging from $340-$400. Heart of Wood estimated the job would be $650 which is $250-$300 more than the prior estimates. It seems the price was inflated due to the Angie's list coupon I received. Thank you!

Description of Work: Thomas and his crew did an excellent job. They were very efficient and the quality of the job for the fee was great. I plan to use them for the stump removal and to clear a tree in the fall.

Description of Work: The Heart of Wood removed a very large dead oak tree that was close to the house. They did an outstanding job removing the tree without doing any damage to the home or any of the surrounding structures (fence, ac unit, or shed). They were honest, prompt, professional, and courteous. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.
