The work was done exquisitely, on budget and on time. This complete kitchen remodel, literally from the floor up, was completed in 4 weeks exactly, a bit quicker than the estimated timeline. We have nothing bad to say about KBF, and in fact we've used them for a second project this summer and plan to use them for bathroom remodels in the future.

This was our second project with Kitchen and Bath, and we're very happy with the results. The few glitches we ran into with vendors, particularly a granite yard, were handled quickly, efficiently, and professionally by Anne. We felt like everyone at Kitchen and Bath genuinely cared about our satisfaction with the outcome. We plan to use them again in the future.

We decided not to use them. They were actually very good. The only thing I didn't like was that a competitor had more design help. They were fine. Their price was good. Everything was very good. It's just that I need more design help than they have. They have a little bit, but I just needed more.

Ultimately, I decided against using them since the gentleman with who I was dealing was unpleasant.

We are satisfied with their work. I spent between $15000 and $20000 on that work. The work was done well. We liked their work. The tile work was fabulous, the plumbing was great and the electrical was all good. They were personable, listened to us and they were great. Their price was reasonable.

They were great. One thing I noted about them was that they were always on time. They're always on time and really conscientious about what we wanted to a point where they were even asking me where to put the electrical outlets. They were really nice they were really prompt in getting back to you. We didn't have any of those contractor nightmares when they work half days or don't show up or don't hear from them we didn't have any of that, they were great. I would totally use them again.

KBF was very helpful in the entire process from design to completion. It was important to us that the remodel be completed by the beginning of May and they made sure that happened. David at KBF was very easy to work with and guided me through all the decisions, gave me a detailed plan of how the finished project would look, and made sure that everything happened on schedule. The suppliers they worked with were helpful in the decision making process and made sure that everything arrived in time (except for some minor glitches with the tub order and plumbing fixtures). Mosaic Tile was especially great about really taking the time to work out a tile scheme that would fit with countertop and cabinetry. The best part of the experience was working with Chris, Thomas, and the entire crew of KQuality Services who did the work. They were absolutely wonderful. Top quality work, on time and on budget. Chris went out of his way to locate and place a special order for a specific window that we wanted. When the tub was late arriving, he found a way to work around the problem so that there would be no delay in the project. Every member of his crew was hardworking, polite, cleaned up thoroughly each evening and did quality work. Thomas, took every little request in stride and made sure every detail was just as we wanted it. Eddie, did a beautiful job with the tile work. Every time I called or left a note, the response was "we'll take care of it" and they did. I would recommend them again and will use them for future work.

I spent $40000 on that work. It was great. They did a great job. Their contractors did a great job, they were on time and also the cabinets that they provide are very nice and high quality. It is a very efficient operation.

We would highly suggest them. They gave us a timeline for a major renovation and it went as planned which doesn't normally happen for such a major renovation. They were very responsive. They contract out the people who tore up the kitchen and did the actual labor. The company that did the actual labor cleaned up every day. We were comfortable giving them a key to our home and we didn't feel like we had to be around all the time. They could have been a little bit better on some details.

The workers were phenomenal because of the attention to detail, they discovered an issue with my floor boards, fixed them right away and explained everything to me. They moved a sink so they did a little bit of plumbing. I was really happy with their work. They don't seem to do a lot of design advice and I wouldn't go with them for just the design component, but they do good quality work and you can make a lot of your own decisions which I liked. Certainly there are a lot of places that are cheaper. I was really happy with the work.

A friend highly recommended Kitchen and Bath Factory Inc. to us, having just remodeled her kitchen and bathroom. I've seen the work they do, and my friend provided a very positive review of the day to day details, so I know they provide quality goods and service. Unfortunately I think my visit was poorly timed--not my fault, though--and I left with the feeling that the person with whom I spoke was eager to get going (not on my project though). When I entered the showroom, an older gentleman greeted me and pointed me to the back, where a younger gentleman had just appeared. The younger gentleman apparently wasn't "on the clock," which I think explains why I felt he wasn't really interested in the project I was proposing. He provided a quote of $20,000-$25,000, which was much higher than I wanted to hear, of course, but which I know is not surprising in this area. I thanked him and left. I ended up hiring a different design firm which starts with a home visit, free of charge. I much preferred this kind of initial meeting, partly because I knew the designer was going to be engaged from the start. I was provided with a detailed explanation of this project's process, its stages, and the various roles of the people who would be involved. Their quote was for $15,000 to $20,000.

Most of the interaction was with the subcontractor. Kand B Factory staff was very easy to work with and very professional.

A sure sign of a great company is the vendors they work with. David and Bob at KBF were meticulous and thorough through the design process, and recommended terrific (and local) appliance, granite and tile vendors to work with. I used them all and got great service and great prices. Finally, the contractor they use to do the work itself, Val de Mar, was phenomenal. He was attentive, present and accessible, and patient with all my questions. And the staff he has working with him did a meticulous job. Their focus on detail was very appreciated, and there isn't a single thing that didn't turn out the way I expected. I would highly recommend them - it's was a very positive experience, and for the first time doing major remodel in my past I couldn't have asked for a better result.

The did a great job, we did not encounter any problems with this company and would refer them to anyone who need a great amount of kitchen work to be done.

The kitchen is gorgeous! I posed some challenges - wanting some customized changes that meant the designer and contractors had to be creative to accomplish the look and functionality I wanted. Everyone wroked hard to stay on schedule. The contractors were good to work with, open to discussing options and making recommendations. The installation and construction quality were high. There were a couple mis-communications but they always made everything right - quickly. The appliance vendors were also very helpful and accomodated my schedule.

Initial visit with the Kitchen and Bath Factory owner Bob Kay was okay. He gave us a ball park estimate but said he needed to see our kitchen so we set up an appointment. He arrived with one of his contactors and sort of blew me away with all the changes he wanted to make--tearing a wall down, moving appliances around and changing the whole structure of the kitchen. I could see the cost rapidly rising and became a bit overwhelmed. I then asked him about Plan B, which I described as a lesser remodeling, This meeting was all about what he wanted to do to our kitchen; he appeared to have no interest in what we wanted to do. He then got in a huge huff and immediately left the house in a rage. It was the rudest treatment I have ever experienced. I probably would have ended up having his company do the job but his rudeness completely turned me off. I am not in a position to judge the quality of work because I hired another contractor. It is interesting to note that my next door neighbor had the same experience with this individual when she was interviewing contractors for a kitchen remodel. She was very much turned off by his rudeness.

We visited the showroom to get what the website describes as the first step of the process - a ballpark estimate. Bob, who we found out later owns the place, was rude and lectured us on how people come in there thinking that they can renovate a kitchen for $5,000 to $10,000, which can't be done. He told us that our renovation would cost $40,000, at a minimum, and that in these older houses from the 20's and 30's it always costs more. We hadn't even told him our budget, the size of the kitchen, what we wanted done, or the year of our house (1989). That was his ballpark - randomly picking a number without a single bit of information. He didn't even ask for any information. Then we were shown the door - we were stunned and polite through entire interlude. We are still renovating our kitchen, and could have used his company, but will definitely not. After reading on this site that not one of the renovations Band F has done are $40,000+, we are even more perplexed.

The entire process was seamless. Bob at Kand B was organized, professional and his staff was great to deal with. The quality of the work was fantastic, and the contractor (GMG Services I believe?) and tile referrals Bob provided were also great. The work was completed on time and exceeded our expectations. We plan to go back to Kand B when we remodel our bathroom.

They were excellent and did everything exactly at the time they said that they would do. They were easy to deal with and were easy to contact. They were generally very good. The quality of their work was excellent. Their products were excellent too. The price that they charged was appropriate. They were there for us every step of the way. We were very happy with them.

There were a lot of breakdowns in communication between Kitchen and Bath Factory and their recommended contractors. I think the largest issue was that KBF did not do an on-site visit and relied on the master contractor to provide all the details, but this was not thoroughly communicated to the contractor. Things were not measured correctly, finalized designs were not passed along to the contractor. Ultimately they corrected all of the issues but at the cost of an additional month and countless calls between KBF and their vendors. If I had to do it again I would work with Russell at KBF and insist that they subcontract all of the services so that I could have one point of communication.

The customer agent was not very responsive. Once they got my deposit, they didn't have any contact until I contacted them -- the businesses that they recommended were mixed in quality and Kand B didn't do anything to provide additional info.

The construction contractor (Phoenix Renovations) was exceptionally clean, courteous, and their work was nearly flawless. I understand however that the relationship was broken in 2007 due to personality issues at Phoenix.

The first step was to do what they call a ''ballpark estimate''. (You can walk into their showroom or fill one out on-line.) This estimate turned out to be close to the final bill, but was a little on the high side. Once this is done we were able to set up appointments to meet with the owner of the company Bob. He was great, he came out to the house, and came up with a design that he shared with us. Then we had an appointment in the showroom to review and get a firm price. After that it was up to us as to whether to sign up or not. (There was no pressure.) Which we did, the hardest part was waiting for the work to start, their cabinets are built to order and take close to two months to arrive. The project started and ended when Bob said it would and he stayed on budget. Our neighbors and friends all told us these nightmare stories, so we were prepared for the worst. My husband and I couldn't believe how smoothly everything went and our neighbors are all planning on calling Bob now too!
