Initial scheduling of work went smoothly. Repairman arrived a bit late but started work immediately. Informed me of what the $109 would and would not cover. We agreed on a price for remaining grout work. The hitch came when he had to come back to finish the job. We had to reschedule several times due to other commitments that he had that kept coming up. I prefer a job to be completed in a timely manner. Work was reasonably satisfactory but not all the areas that we discussed would be cleaned were actually cleaned. In the end, I was ready to be finished and just let it go. The basic job was completed and the back and forth was not worth insisting on a better quality of service.

So, this turned into a $700 job with nothing done to the grout. But before we even got there, we had to contact him repeatedly for him to even show up. The first time, he was a complete no-show. The second time, we had to call him the day of the appointment which he had clearly forgotten.

I've taken two days off work waiting for the guy to show up and he always claimed he was busy working on other jobs. I've left several messages to try to schedule an appointment but haven't heard back. He ripped me off for the $122 and I'd like to have my money back and am considering taking him to small claims court. Normally my experiences with Angies List contractors has been good but when one rips you off you feel cheated out of time, money and good will. I'll considering revising this review if my money is returned promptly or the work is completed asap.

Gustavo came out to meet with us to look over the bathroom. He seemed to be capable and knowledgable as we discussed the work that was to be done. However, Gustavo is challenged with actually making it to the job. I understand that things come up and I try to be flexible, but Gustavo's other issue is not calling people back after leaving numerous messages. In the end, I had to get a refund and get someone else to do the work.

It went well. I just thought maybe some of the grout would be cleaned up as well.

I hired this contractor on an Angies list. Would not keep any dates. Waited several times for him to show up and work. It never happened. What a complete waste of time.

I was promised by Gustavo, the owner, he would show up at 8am and work until 5pm everyday until the job was done. I was also promised that he would be doing all of the work. Both of these did not happen. The first day he arrived at 9:45am. Other days were similar. Some days he would arrive and then leave a helper to keep working. One of the helpers used plastic to cover up vents and drains to prevent dust (which we appreciate). Unfortunately, he taped to the drywall and tub using duct tape which removed drywall and left tape residue on the tub. This caused a lot more finishing work for me to sand, prime, and paint those areas. Gustavo was good with some details such as making the lines of the tiles align and was conscious of the patterns. However, I was very disappointed with other details such as some of the tiles with exposed edges show the tile barcode and one boarder tile is more than a 1/4 inch out of alignment. A couple of corners have grout missing too. Overall, I think it could be better.

2 appts. made w/ this company were not kept causing me to spend half a day twice waiting for service. I made numerous calls to the company where the phone just was not answered. Also, there were no responses to emails. When I finally was able to talk to someone and explain what had happened, the person promised to keep the next scheduled date made. Again, appt. was not kept and a before, I was not able to contact anyone at the company. I contacted Angie's List help desk 5 times for help w/ this problem. Resolution was to offer a refund rather than find another provider as was offered as a possibility at one point. This was an extremely frustrating and time-consuming experience. This company should not be on the list.

I attempted to contact the vendor by phone on numerous occasions, only to get his voice mail. I left repeated messages to contact me to schedule an appointment, which he never did.

Quick, easy, great job and well worth the money.

Some of the new caulking was done expertly and some was very sloppily. It was so poorly done that, I tried to redo it myself.

After many calls to them, I was finally able to set up an appointment for the caulking to be completed on 10/16. I took the day off work to be home for their 1pm arrival. At 1:30, when they had still not shown up I called to check in and they said that they lost my address and therefore did not plan on coming that day. Not only did they not call me to tell me this, but I took a vacation day to have the service done which was now wasted. We rescheduled for a Saturday (10/26) at 1pm, again they did not show and did not call. I would like to get my money back and hopefully you can make a note of this in their file so that it does not happen to other customers. Thanks.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went okay. The only issue was that it was difficult to get them to schedule, but after that, the work was very good. The people were very pleasant and nice. I recommend them to family and friends.

Upon making the purchase on Angie's list I called this guys number to schedule an appointment. I got voicemail. I left a message. After a few days without getting a response, I called again. Again, no response for a week. I was about to call Angie's List to report him, but, I figured I'd try calling a third time.... this time, I got a response from him, with a promise to get back to me to schedule a date for service. Again, more than a week went by. No callback. No service. I called the number again. Only voice mail. This guy is a joke. Undoubtedly he runs his business out of the back of his truck. If he happens to get around to you, then perhaps he gives good service...if not, you're just chasing your tail. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!!!!

Service provided failed to respond to several emails and phone calls. When we did reach him, we set a date for completion of tile work on 21st September. Provided did not show up or contact us. We would like a full refund since no work was completed.

The service technician did very nice work in recaulking all the edges of the tile counters and floors where cracks had appeared. He was very helpful: when the caulk I'd provided turned out to be the wrong color, he went the extra mile by getting new caulk and coming back on his day off to finish the job. Because I'm in an outlying area, I paid $40 above the Angie's Big Deal price for travel costs.

Employee arrived on time. I explained that I needed/wanted the caulk of the entire floor of the shower sealed and the caulk on the shower corner seat sealed. Additionally, the caulk on the tile base holding the shower doors should be sealed.( The step-in shower replaced the bathtub in the master bath so it is not huge.) The employee understood, and even repeated the information. When he was finished, the employee advised that it was all done and the shower should not be used for at least 24 hours. When I inspected the work, you could not tell what caulk was sealed and what was not. After a few uses of the shower it was evident that the only caulk that was sealed was that which was replaced. I was quite disappointed, and still am.

He was very pleasant. There was a scheduling issue and it was because he is busy and is scheduling the appointments also. He called to reschedule which I appreciated.

Gustavo was professional and did excellent work. The timing was a little frustrating, as we had expected him to arrive earlier in the day, but I think he got caught up finishing another job and was and unable to get to us in enough time to do much the first day. That being said, he was great to work with and did a quality job, which is the most important thing to me. Once he began working he didn't stop and was careful to ask clarifying questions to make sure he understood what we needed. As we requested more services he realized the need for more man-power and brought another man in to help him- which we appreciated. I would work with Gustavo again.

There was a hiccup on scheduling where the appointment had to be rescheduled but other than that the service was excellent. The tech and an assistant arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves well and seemed to do a very, very thorough job removing and replacing the caulk so that there were no stains or marks. They even vacuumed up so I couldn't tell that they had even been there. Well worth the price I paid.

Scheduling was delayed and was often late to arrive Had some difficulty getting a hold of him by phone. Job was done satisfactorily and clean up was good. Price was reasonable but had several additional costs that were not expected.

Terrible. Phone calls weren't returned. Attempted to add outrageous fees to the coupon price.

After purchasing on 8 Aug, it took multiple calls to establish any contact with the vendor. Finally received a call back on Aug 22 and set an appointment for 27 Aug. On 27 Aug, I received a call saying he could not make it and would try the next day; I agreed. When he arrived, he did not have the materials required for the job and said he would contact me later that night to reschedule. I have called 4 times since and have not heard anything. Today is 10 September, and after reading other reviews for this company and from people who purchased this big deal I have no confidence I will ever hear from him again.

Rescheduled 3 times and had to come on a Saturday. The work was fine but I wouldn't call it exceptional.

I sent a message to the provider looking to see what additional charges might be with the deal. They didn’t respond to my message or send anything via the message center on Angie’s List.
