Description of Work: Terrible. He would not honor the coupon, disputed the language in the coupon and then admitted he was wrong, was very rude to my wife, tried to upsell me $500 for grout restoration that I ultimately fixed myself for about $10 in bleach bathroom product.

Description of Work: We were looking to use several of the "big deals" to accomplish a "mini" makeover in the guest bathroom. This particular company and it's services (per the coupon)did not work out due to the extra costs.

Description of Work: The technician told me that the Big Deal did not cover replacing caulking with mold on it. To repair that, it would cost an additional $99. I did not read where it said that was not covered but I did not want to pay extra for this. He told me that if we do not want this service, the money we paid would be refunded.

Description of Work: Came over and inspected our bathroom, mentioned that he sees mold, and that was an additional cost, same with the sealant (if we wanted a better seal). He stated the deal only cover grout restoration as well. I told him that the advertisement didn't include this information - This information should be listed in the deal. As a customer, we don't want any hidden fees or additional costs. Plus, I took a day off from work. He mentioned that he didn't have his supply with him at the moment. I asked him if he can go get it and come back, he stated he can come back on Friday. I can't take another day off since I took a day off already. My wife wasn't happy and asked me to cancel.

Description of Work: Provider said he could not regrout our floor. He said it would not look good. I felt he was trying to upsell us. When asked for an estimate on floor and shower, he quoted $4000. This did not even include materials. It was way overpriced compared to other bids. In addition, the angies list coupon was a retail value of $450 and he was only going to take off $150 from his estimate of $4000.

Description of Work: I have continued to try to schedule this service with Intersater Remodeling Services. We did speak once, but my attempt to contact them after went unanswered. Please refund me for this service.

Description of Work: Angie's list:-- where are you? Are you on the same page with this tile company recommended on your "list"? I contacted your firm because the company was unresponsive. Your response was for me to complete forms. I filled them out and checking on the status of my inquiry was advised of the need to "complete forms". The same forms. A refund was issued for the amount I'd paid for the BIG DEAL. Now you want details of my experience. My experience has been lame with all parties involved. Do your departments communicate with one another? The requested information below cannot be completed.

Description of Work: The vendor said he would not be able to perform the service I purchased for the Big Deal price. He said the job would require significantly more time and more than double the cost. In fairness, this was probably accurate, because the grout was very discolored and probably needed to be completely redone. However, at the time, it felt like bait and switch, so we decided not to use the service at all, and requested a refund from Angie's List. That was my first, and last, experience with purchasing a Big Deal from Angie's List. I decided there are no real bargains out there and it was risky to prepay for a job without having an opportunity to meet the vendor, go over the job in detail, etc.

Description of Work: Cleaned grout and tile in master bathroom. Although arrived late, he completed the work in a timely fashion. Tool used was a "steam wand" which did a reasonably decent job of cleaning the grout. Final results not especially spectacular, but having only paid the "Big Deal"price, I felt OK afterwards.

Description of Work: I just got an estimate and he was very professional and gave an estimate which was fine. I decided that I would be doing a more extensive renovation later on because simply re-doing the floor would not have been useful.

Description of Work: Removal of old ceramic tile and placement of new tile. Company was responsible for all materials and supplies including the tile. The bathroom was completed in 2 1/2 days. Gustavo and his helper did immaculate cleanup after each day.

Description of Work: Vendor never called me back to schedule service. Had to only contact vendor through text messages. Never answered or returned calls. Should be refunded money through Angie's List. One big problem with this service.

Description of Work: I paid for the Angie's list Big deal coupon. I made multiple (more than 3) attempts to contact the provider. After leaving several messages on their phone, I finally caught them and was told they were busy right then and asked me to e-mail them. it was difficult to understand the person's accent and the e-mail address was not simple, so I made several attempts before I finally got it correct (maybe it would have been more simple if they'd just include that in their contact info on Angie's). By e-mail, I was told I'd get a call. Never happened. I contacted Angie's List for a refund on the coupon, and was told that they'd try to contact the vendor - I was none too pleased about that. There was no way I'd have some guy that can't return a phone call to get the business do any work on my home. Imagine what'd be like to try and get hold of them if anything went wrong in the service? I just wanted my money back. but when the guy still hadn't called me 3 weeks later, Angie did refund my money.

Description of Work: I made 2 appointments with the company. They didn't show up for either of the appointments. I made arrangements to be home on 2 separate mornings and never received a call. When I called back the first time, the owner told me that they had another job that came up but never bothered to let me know in advance. I don't know whether or not the company does good work but I was disappointed with their reliability and professionalism.

Description of Work: He convinced me that I had two (2) leaks in my shower floor which he said he fixed, charged me $120 to repair and did not complete the caulking and did no grout restoration. I would be happy to take part in a class action suit.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for "250 Sq. Ft of Kitchen & or Bathroom Caulking and Grout Restoration & More!". It took me several times to get a hold of him. And then he called to reschedule once and then called that day to delay until later in the day. He doesn't seem to have a good feel for how long his jobs will take him. He reviewed the work to be performed and told me that the Big Deal did not cover replacing any missing grout (just a few minor spots) nor did it cover cleaning away any mold behind the caulk. He did not have the supplies necessary to do this work with him and that it would cost me an additional $249. I feel like the coupon was misleading about what was covered and have chosen not to use the contractor for this reason. I have asked for a refund and will shop around to have my shower recaulked.

Description of Work: I bought a "Big Deal" for $109 for 250 sq. ft. of caulking for a bathroom. On the day of the job, no one came at the appointed time. I called and Gustavo didn't have me on the books. He rearranged his schedule and came shortly thereafter. It took approximately two hours for him to re-caulk a bathtub, toilet, and sink in a very small bathroom. He removed the old caulk, cleaned, and reapplied the new caulk. He went outside to talk on the phone a couple of times. While he performed the work required, upon closer inspection after he left, I saw that the caulking was very skimpy. There were a few gaps.That said, he did give me some extra dry grout so that I could repair spots myself. Overall, it was a fair job. I probably would not use this company again.
