I found the company on Angie's List after joining the service. My communication was with Ryan Willwerth from start to finish. We set an appointment and met to discuss the many projects I have planned for my home. At the conclusion of our initial meeting covering the details of the renovations, I was presented with a written estimate. There were changes made by myself in which materials to be used which affects the cost of the project. After many changes on my part I contacted Ryan and asked to meet again in person to confirm all the details and cost. We set an appointment, reviewed the plans. I issued a deposit and a date for the work was set. The selection of columns was out of my league and I needed to depend on Ryan for guidance and recommendations in that area. By that evening Ryan had secure choices for me to select from and after confirming my choices, the columns were ordered that evening. The company is based in Virginia which is quite a distance from my home in Washington D.C. We were still able to start and complete the project in a timely manner. The timeliness was important to me since I had no porch or steps to the front entrance into my home, visitors, mail and the likes would be affected. Communication was terrific with both Ryan and the working crew. FYI: options were discussed with me as they presented themselves and I am very happy with the end result. Ryan and I have discussed further renovations and I expect we will work together again very soon.

Thanks to many incompetent, dishonest and unreliable contractors I've previously used, my expectation have been set very low. However, Ryan and Enhanced Roofing and Remodeling is different. Ryan was very easy to work with and responsive to my concerns and needs. His estimate was extremely reasonable for the work to be done, and even with some changes he did not "nickel and dime" me. Quite the contrary, I had taken priming and painting out of the task list in the beginning. Half way through the job Ryan suggested that I let him do the priming and painting anyway, since doing it before installing the fixtures would make the bath look that much better. He was right, the bath does look much better (though I think my wife and I didn't pick the best color). The best part is that he didn't add the painting charge back in! (It wasn't that big of a job, but this is still extraordinary for contractors in my experience). I purchased all the fixtures, tile, and granite separately, but I didn't buy the recessed lighting. Ryan provided three lights with the installation at no extra change. He also recommended the vendors for the tile, granite, and fixtures. I was happy with all of them. The work took two weeks, working six days a week. This is how long Ryan said it would take! And while the tradesmen still could improve with their punctuality, they were pretty flexible and understanding if I wanted them to stop work a little earlier on a particular day. They also worked a little later with my permission, too. Along the way some of his tradesmen made some honest mistakes. I brought these to his attention, and they were corrected ASAP with no excuses or whining. As with any work being done on your home, it's always smart if you're closely involved with the work being done. The quality of work was excellent. In the beginning I was concerned about how long it was taking the tile guys to do the shower, but as Ryan said, they do not hurry and they take the time to do the job right. You can see for yourself in the photos. They did a great job. Overall we are extremely happy with our bathroom, and we would use Ryan and Enhanced Roofing and Remodeling again in the future.

The job went quickly and professionally. Sure some days were more impressive than others of course but I've never had work completed so quickly.
