Cindy was the most tenacious negotiator and the most patient and understanding realtor. My condo sold very quickly at asking price. She went to countless open houses with us, and even stuck by us when our first house fell through because of a bad inspection. I had confidence with her through the entire process that she could find the best solution to any of our problems. Cindy and Gail made home-buying fun! When I worked with them on a home purchase, Cindy noticed details that I missed. She was unafraid to ask bold questions, and she elicited remarkably frank answers from sellers, their agents, neighbors, and tenants. For instance, at one house, she pointed out that some of the roof shingles were a different color from the rest; when she asked the current tenant about it, he told us that a tree had fallen on the house and broken through the roof. Gail has extensive experience in home renovation, so she provided perspective and ideas about how to fix up the houses we looked at, and how much work that might entail. Both Gail and Cindy were forthright about the potential downside of a prospective purchase, and they were willing to risk a sale in order to save me from making an expensive mistake. Cindy and Gail were generous with their time and never seemed to stop working. For example, when I found an ad for a house and called to see if Cindy could arrange for me to see it, she met me within the hour at the house. I e-mailed Cindy a question on Christmas day, not expecting to hear from her until the next day at the earliest, but she responded right away. When I had to travel out of state unexpectedly during and after the home purchase, Cindy and Gail met with two separate contractors at the house and then gave me reports on them so I could choose the right company for some significant remodeling. Finally, the energy and excitement Cindy and Gail brought to the entire experience made it a pleasure to work with this honest, genuine, and sympathetic team. I highly recommend them.

We were referred to Cindy through friends. As first time home buyers, she met with us for over an hour prior to placing any offers. She explained the process of home buying and answered all of our many questions. Over the course of the 6 months, as we slowly refined what we were looking for, Cindy maintained patience and was consistently willing to show homes for us on a last second notice. This was incredibly valuable as we are both employed full time. She was extremely thorough during our home walk throughs and interviewed potential neighbors to ask questions on our behalf. When we finally placed our first offer, not only did Cindy slowly step through the entire offer to make sure we had no questions or concerns, but did not question our low bid. Over the course of the next two months, we placed an additional three offers, two of which required less 24 hour turnaround for the submission and one which of was with a particularly difficult seller. Cindy and Gail were EXCELLENT realtors, Great communication! They are not pushy! Very quick! Knowledgeable! My parents were very stressed out selling their home. They originally hired another firm/agent to sell their home. Unfortunately, the old realtor was let's just say not up to speed on things, lazy and should probably not be a realtor. My parents house was on the market for 3 months with the old realtor and no one really took interest. Convincing my parents to sell at a much lower rate. Which is surprising since their two neighbors sold their house within a month and also my parents house were in a nice neighborhood, walking distance to a nice school, and not far from the bus stop and shops. When Cindy and Gail took over after the disastrous experience from the past agent. They worked super fast and literally was holding my parents hands to make them feel comfortable since I am not physically there to help them with the selling of the house. Cindy and Gail were AMAZING from the very first contact. I contacted them on Angie's List on a Friday evening thinking it would be great if they got back to me over the weekend. To my delight, I received a call from Cindy within 15 minuted of pushing send and we had a great, concise first conversation about what we were looking for, and where, in a new house. early the next morning (Saturday) she had us set up with an MLS search and we were reviewing houses. That afternoon we had selected about a half dozen to see and she had us scheduled to go see them! Perhaps the most amazing part of working with Cindy was how focused she was on making sure we were informed during the process. She was fantastic at looking under the hood at each house and advising us on things to look for and what she saw. Her responsiveness was nearly instantaneous and she always made us feel like we were the most important thing, even though I know she was in the midst of an incredibly busy time with many other clients. She has a great sense of humor and clearly loves her job, which makes it fun to be around her. We found the house of our dreams within a week, and have now closed, less than 30 days after beginning to look with Cindy and Gail. We wouldn't have been able to do it so quickly without their expert guidance and support each step of the way. They helped us to get the best deal possible, and negotiated several credits on our behalf that made closing a little less painful on the wallet. I have already referred them to others and will never use another realtor again to buy or sell in the DMV area!

Definitely went well - I got a great condo in DC, and Cindy held my hand the entire way. This was my first purchase of a home, so I knew NOTHING. She helped me narrow my focus to what I wanted (and wanted to pay), and helped me target an area in which to find a condo. She put up with me and my pickiness for almost 18 months as we waited for new build, and then at the last minute, when I found a 4-year old condo in the same area that I liked better, she pivoted and went to bat for me with the seller's agent as opposed to the builder. She was a tough negotiator, and fought for me when the sellers left without cleaning the place. I can honestly say that the closing was a real party - my lender (who Cindy had referred me to) and his staff came to congratulate me, as did Gail. I was then invited to their house for dinner, and Cindy continues to follow up to make sure I'm happy. I would definitely suggest using her as an agent!

We spent the entire first portion of the showing examining the outside of the house, with Cindy explaining details as small as the electrical box to the method used to shingle the house. As first-time homebuyers, we cast a pretty wide net and Cindy worked (patiently) with us to really hone in on what we wanted. Working with Cindy was amazing. She was always available, helpful, enthusiastic, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything went smoothly for us, both in buying and selling our home. Cindy and Gail helped us find and buy our first home -a condo - years ago and this year helped us sell our condo and buy a house. They helped us with staging and holding an open house on the condo, which sold within a week after we put it on the market. They also came with us to look at every house (and there were a lot!) we were interested in and provided valuable feedback on each home, including what to look for in the house such as the age of certain systems, the windows, and the electrical panel. Both are very knowledgable about the real estate market in the DC, Maryland and Virginia areas, and are familiar with architectural details and building components in a home (such as work that's been done, work that could be done, roofing, flooring, etc). Both Cindy and Gail are personable and care about their clients' needs. They are advocates and counsel during the home buying/selling process and are just terrific women to work with! They keep in touch with clients long after the home buying/selling process is over. We have used them twice and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

Very much appreciated that! Good communication throughout. The house was sold in less than a week for more than the asking price. We really appreciated Cindy's patience with us. We interviewed her several month's previous, but went with another realtor at that time. When our house didn't sell with that realtor, we went back to her for a 2nd and 3rd interview and ultimately chose to work with her. She was always professional and enthusiastic.

Cindy is high-energy, always available, and a true real estate professional. From our first meeting to our last, she was our champion in finding the best house for us. The neighborhoods we were most interested in, unfortunately, were very competitive with low inventory and quick sales. We love Cindy. She was absolutely fantastic. Full credit goes to her for going above and beyond was I think is expected of a real estate agent. She was in regular contact with suggestions of properties that we should look at - she managed two conflicting interests very well (my husband and I have very different tastes and requirements). She also kept in mind that we have a young family when suggesting properties. Her recommendations for suburbs and areas showed the depth of knowledge that she has of Arlington and the DC Metro area. Cindy also truly showed how much she cares for her clients by getting involved in the problems that we encountered after we moved into the house - she helped coordinate our pest inspection (and some work arising from that). I would first like say that Cindy and the people she works with are extremely professional (lender included). I met with Cindy just prior to going out of town for 6 weeks and only got to view a couple of places prior. Right after I left a house went on the market in the neighborhood I wanted. Despite a snow storm Cindy was able to make it to the house the very next day and put together an offer that evening. We did everything via email/phone and sight unseen (for me) other then pictures on the web and conversations with Cindy. Cindy was very accommodating in meeting with not only the home inspector and radon tester but she also met with my contractor in order for me to get an estimate on some potential remodeling. Even with my limitations to email/phone at some points Cindy did her best to keep me informed at every step. And to the Seller's delight I was able to close within 30 days even though I never saw the house until just before I closed. Considering the circumstances (dealing with VA loan requirements) and the quick closing turnaround time, this was one of the least stressful transactions I have dealt with and greatly appreciated Cindy helping keep it that way. Cindy and Gail are great realtors. I did a full cash offer, they didn't have much experience with that but we found a good deal. I wish I would have found them when I bought my first house since they guide you well through the process. You have to do your homework and they will make the deal.
