Cindy helped us purchase a home in Alexandria when we were moving to the area from out of state. She was recommended by a colleague, and we were very happy with our experience with her. She is extremely energetic, and gives the impression that she loves what she does. Cindy listened to my initial ideas of the criteria we were looking for in a house, and once we started viewing houses she quickly picked up on what types of details my husband and I really liked and really disliked. She asked questions to clarify what type of compromises we might be willing to make, and when there were houses that seemed like good matches that we eliminated from our list, she asked additional questions in order to understand what the deal breakers were for us. She was very willing to point out potential issues and concerns in the houses we looked at - she was down on her hands and knees checking for damp, testing wood for rot, examining carpets, and looking at details of construction (like the type of cabinets and drawers in the kitchen). This honesty and engagement in the process is one of the things that we most valued about working with Cindy - we felt that if there was a big issue with a property, she would be sure to point it out to us. We absolutely felt that we could trust her to be our advocate at every step of the process. We were coming from out of town to look at houses, and Cindy spent one long Sunday and holiday Monday and another Sunday looking at houses with us. She worked really hard to arrange viewings at short notice and to fit the viewings into our constrained schedule. When we were ready to make an offer, she continued to work long hours to get the offer submitted quickly. She guided us in deciding how much to offer, and when the sellers responded and we were ready just to accept their counter, she pushed us to submit our own counter offer, which paid off, getting us a price that was much closer to our original target than we would have achieved without Cindy's help. After the inspection, Cindy helped us to put together and justify our request for a credit from the sellers to pay for needed repairs, and from there on out she checked in regularly up until the closing date. She, again, went out of her way to work with our travel schedule when we were arriving in town for the walk-through and closing, and after closing she checked in again a time or two to make sure everything was OK. I would certainly feel comfortable contacting her as a resource if any problems come up during our first few months in the house, and she has even offered advice as we prepare our old house for sale. We would definitely work with her again to buy or sell in the DC area.

Cindy Beline was my real estate agent when I purchased my condo, and I recently relied on Cindy again when I decided to upgrade from a condo to a house. Cindy showed me and my husband multiple homes and had valuable insights on "money pit" issues in some of the contenders. I have known Cindy for about 10 years. She helped me purchase my first home in 2009. When it came time for me to purchase my second home, she was the only person I considered. There are many reasons Cindy is my first choice but I have listed a few below: Responsiveness: When you are trying to find a home in a hot market, it is important to have a realtor who is responsive. When I made the offer on my current home in November 2018, someone else had already submitted an offer to the buyer. Because Cindy was knowledgeable about contracts and quick to respond to emails and phone calls, my offer was accepted only minutes before the other homebuyer. There is a lot more to this story but I will tell you that Cindy worked her butt off to get me this home. In addition, when I was viewing multiple homes, Cindy took my request to view a home seriously and would try to schedule the home visit the next day when possible. If you are serious about buying a home. You will want to have Cindy as your realtor. Realtor Expert: Cindy is an expert when it comes to real estate contracts and because of her many years of experience in real estate, she has also become somewhat of an expert when it comes to the condition of a home. During home tours, Cindy is under the cabinets looking at pipes, she is in the basement inspecting the water heater and furnaces, she is checking all the nooks and crannies you probably forgot about because you are more focused on the initial appearance of the home. Many of the items that were pointed out by my inspector during my home inspection, where things I anticipated because Cindy pointed them out during the initial tour of the home. I was grateful to have someone with her experience, working on my side. Overall personality: Cindy is a gem. She has *****, she is always smiling, full of energy, and a pleasant person to work with. After my home inspection, we tried to negotiate a seller assistance for some of the repairs that had to be made on the home. The seller didn’t want to budge and I gave in, I told Cindy I’ll just take what the buyer was offering. Cindy didn’t like this. I don’t know what conversation she had with the buyers realtor, but at the end of the day, I received the seller subsidy I wanted and not what the buyer was trying to give me. Cindy went above and beyond for me. She didn’t have to but she did because she wanted what was best for me. So, if you are looking for a realtor, you should choose Cindy. Cindy Beline came highly recommended by a colleague for a first-time condo buyer and she did not disappoint! She was flexible with scheduling despite my hectic work and travel schedule and kept a positive, energetic approach throughout exhausting, day-long marathons of five or six viewings (found my condo during the second of those)! Cindy completely respected my neighborhood preferences and price range and responded instantaneously as I narrowed the field further (e.g., no buildings where I'd have a window AC unit). Her advice to keep looking at listings even as I traveled through the summer made it easy to come home knowing exactly what to expect in my range in the neighborhoods I wanted. There was absolutely no pressure to buy. Cindy's interactions with others were consummately professional throughout the process, despite a number of horrorshow seller's agents. We recently worked with Cindy ("Lucinda") to buy our "forever home", and we have to say we were really pleased with our time together! We have sold a condo and a house, and we have bought a house with Cindy as our real estate agent. She is an absolutely amazing realtor. She was involved in every step of the buying and selling process and worked very hard for us.
