It went wonderfully. One, a genealogy program, was an easy fix. The other, a data base program, was more difficult - the programs were not exactly the same. Cameron questioned the manufacturer, and acted upon their replies. He also resurrected a flash drive I thought was dead and transferred the data from it. I had some little of problems that he solved. As we worked, he gave me instructions on how to manage the problems myself. He was patient and helpful. I really appreciate his time and efforts. He is within walking distance, and I will return for assistance if and when I need it. It was really a pleasure.

Great - came on time - and worked quickly

We have been working with Cameron since we started our business, almost 10 years ago, and has seen us through a lot of growth. He has always been available for us when we have issues, to help us trouble shoot over the phone or in person. He is very easy to work with and extremely patient and knowledgeable. He also helps us with with personal issues like date back ups and photo storage and syncing on our Macs. We love having him as a part of our team! He's not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for and he knows his stuff. Highly recommended.

I found Cameron Jones IT on Angie's List in 2011 and was impressed with Cameron’s feedback. I checked out his website and then emailed him asking to set up an appointment. He called me and we scheduled a visit at my home. During that first appointment, Cameron worked three straight hours and resolved all the computer-related concerns and frustrations that I had accumulated over many months. My computer had been running slowly and Cameron found and resolved the source of the problem. He hooked up my router and got me set up for wireless, then synched my PC, my laptop, and my iPhone for wireless, email, and software. He made recommendations that made my life a lot easier (including a free anti-virus instead of the paid service I had been using). Over the last six years Cameron has become my “go to” guy for computer problems, and I have recommended him to many friends and neighbors. Many times he has answered (via email) a question I’ve had in between appointments. I’m very pleased with his service and price structure.

Perfectly. My new desktop (Lenovo w/Win 10) functions beautifully; the new hard drive in the second desktop (running Win 7) is faster than ever and all programs are functioning very well. All this took about 6 hours over the course of two days. Price below, and worth every penny.

1. Perfectly. He didn't leave until he was assured that everything functioned. Computer is now stable and VERY much faster. 2. Also perfectly (except for my stupidity in learning Windows 10; I'm still working on that.) The new computer and external hard drive are BOTH a revelation. Cost of these two service calls was about $640 (plus the computer and external backup drive I bought). It was worth EVERY penny. Cameron is now my go-to computer guy. He's GREAT.

This is the second time we have used Cameron for this type of support. Last time was when we bought two new computers back in 2007 to have them replace old ones. This time too, all went very well. Cameron reviewed with us the extensive list of problems with our current computers and agreed the old must go. He moved all of our old files and documents to the new computers; ensured our wireless gateway between our home offices was working; set up the printers so we could print from any printer from our desktops; reset our security software and installed a few other items he felt would be useful to us. As before, found Cameron friendly, professional and most of all, responsive. He listened and provided the support we needed.

Amazing! Cameron worked around my crazy business schedule. He showed up on time, in fact had sent me a text message from Waze letting me know he was on route and approximately what time he would arrive. He had a few problems with the computers as we had to download all new software since what I had wouldn't work with Windows 10. I had an appointment and he wasn't quite finished but we made arrangements for him to dial in and finish the work, which he did. I have emailed him a number of times and he is incredible prompt about responding. I will have him back in January to work on a desktop computer I have, set up an exchange account for email and some other things. Over the years I have used several computer people and never been really satisfied. I was/am totally satisfied with Cameron.

Cameron Jones is a complete professional as an all-purpose technical consultant, which is often a rare commodity among tech folks. He communicates with team members very effectively, stays current with his technical skills, and takes responsibility for fixing errors that creep in during his assignments (as they do with any software project). I would highly recommend him for projects large and small.

Cameron answered my request within an hour and we were able to schedule an appt for the next day. He was on time and very professional. He took the time to understand what we needed done and answered all of my questions. I also run a home business and he was able to provide good insight as to how I want to set up my system. Cameron and I exchanged a number of emails trying to identify if my Twitter virus was computer-based or connected to my browser. He ran tests both within my Twitter account and via remote access on my computer. When the problem was identified, he took care of the issue immediately. In the process, he also installed helpful software for keeping my computer secure and pointed out some needed updates that I was not aware needed to occur. My computer is running better than ever now.

.This was my second time using him & I only have superlative reviews for him. My computer was running slowly & I am preparing to move so I wanted a professional like him to check my computer. He is so tremendously knowledgable...he immediately told me that he could add another gigabyte to the machine but since it is not a new one this was all he could do. He explained many things about the machine to me & when he was here before he installed a program he designed that would keep everything up to date. This not only saves me time when I get messages to update, he explained that sometimes some useless "stuff" is added to the computer when we do manual updates. His program works sufficiently & I trust it more than any of the providers I have had. He also added an additional site for me to connect to the Internet which might help with downloading files quicker. He patiently answers all questions with great explanations & I have learned much from him each visit. I cannot praise him too much - he is so valuable & helpful & nice. Be sure to use him - he is worth every penny or more for his visit!

Cameron is the best there is. We've relied on his expertise for years and wouldn't consider hiring anyone else to work on our computer system. He's a computer genius who is likable and patient at the same time. Excellent service!!

I contacted Cameron via email on Thurs. Aug. 7 to see if I could set up an appt. for Fri., Aug 8th to remove a virus from my computer. He was booked on Friday but was able to come out that afternoon. Cameron arrived on time and corrected my problem within 40 minutes. I have used Cameron before and plan to use him again for all future computer needs.

Cameron promptly responded to my request for his help despite it being July 4th. He was very accommodating as to availability for a Saturday house call which was refreshing. He showed up on time and went right to work to get my computer up and running. My issues were compounded given that I didn't really have a virus per say but that issues 'deep' within the framework of a particular program had initiated a stop action in further access to the internet. Though it took a while to identify the problem, he was quickly able to fix it. Further, he set up programs to prevent it from happening again. I would recommend him to anyone who is have computer problems.
