I couldn't get the printer to print. Cameron Jones came over within a day of the call, fixed the printer and basically cleaned up my computer, got rid of things I didn't need and added more meory to make it work faster

It went very well and very quickly. The new drive works superbly, and I was spared the need to re-install many old programs. The crucial ingredient supplied by CAMERON JONES COMPUTER SERVICES is expertise. Yes, the customer (an experienced PC user) could eventually get the job done on his or her own. But how long would it take? Would the job be reliably done, or would part of it need to be re-done. This vendor did the job correctly and quickly, right out of the gate. For this custormer, it was well worth the price.

We have 5 computers that connect to our wireless network as well as our son's myriad games. Our son moved the router to a place where the router was knocked off often and the antenna was broken. There were wires everywhere and wireless service to the computers throughout the house was spotty. Cameron came in and assessed the situation, suggested a way to serve our son's gaming connectivity needs as well as our computer wireless needs. He looked the other computers and implemented some "fixes" that will allow them to receive signals better. He installed a new router and made good use of the old one (for the computer games). He was very patient with our big dog who became quickly attached to him (and he had to step over) as well as the rest of the family who wanted to be there while he did his work, answering everyone's questions and helping our daughter with downloading information from her computer.

He was able to calm my nerves. I was very concerned that I was going to lose the data and he reassured me he would be able to recover it.

It went well. I was a little unhappy about the charge for travel time to get to my office, but I would gladly pay it again. Cameron is very competent and quick. I feel like the $300 I spent I will easily make back in increased efficiency. If you need competent help, call Cameron. He is worth every penny.

I emailed him a description of my problems and he got back in a timely manner. He was not only responsive in getting back to me but on time for my appointment. Was very professional, pleasant and worked in an efficient way. Would recommend him to anyone with a computer problem or other help with computers. Am so glad I found him on Angie's List and any Very Satisfied with all he did.

Cameron originally was ask to what we thought was a quick fix on MAC laptop. The laptop is considered "old" by technical standards. As we got into pricing the part, the part was about $200 over what we had anticipated and additionally the fix might not work right. Cameron was very professional. He gave me his opinion, which was, buying a computer will probably in the long run be better for my pocket book. I was very appreciative of his candor. Some shops would have done the work and send me on my way. Cameron also offered to do the work if I wanted with a limited warranty. I will definitely use him again.

He fixed my computer within a couple of days and I was able to pick it up over the weekend. He installed a larger hard drive, which is a huge help. He saved me hundreds of dollars over what it would normally cost and did a fantastic job. Highly recommended.

Cameron was prompt, professional and courteous. He installed all my devices, transferred the date from my old computer, rendered the hold hard drive useless and made some recommendations on software for my new computer. His pricing is fair - I did some research with other firms before hiring him. All in all I highly recommend him.

Cameron offered to come to my house to fix the problem. Because I did not need the laptop, I dropped it off at his house. He fixed the problem and recommended that I add memory to the machine to make it faster. When I picked up the laptop, he had also installed free software to help with some other applications that he saw I used. It was an overall great experience and I will use him in the future!

I had very foolishly let some malware onto my laptop and in trying to remove it only made things worse. Cameron Jones figured out the problem, removed the offending software, checked to make sure all was right with my machine and then set up a wireless router that I had not been able to set up. He also took the time to answer some unrelated questions I had about smart phones and internet service providers. Mr. Jones was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. I would definitely use his services again and would recommend him to anyone in need of computer repair.

Now we can access the DSL connection without difficulty and all 3 computer systems are running at a quicker speed. It is great having a trustworthy technical contact to assist us as we progress our physical therapy clinic into the age of electronic documentation........ he took an entire level of fear and anxiety off my shoulders. thanks Cameron!!!

Cameron arrived at our front door a few minutes early and within minutes was fixing the non-fixable. We were ready to back our sedan over a couple of messed-up laptops which he debugged and restored to usefulness. Since his visit he has remained available to answer numerous follow up questions via email. Cameron is without a doubt the best at what he does that we have ever known. Over the past 11 years, we have used a number of stores and individuals to work on our computers. Cameron is tops.

He was able to come out right away. Someone I used before for a computer problem said, "Well, I could probably come out next week." I appreciated Cameron's sense of urgency. My problem was important to him. He gets to work right away. Since he's paid by the hour I didn't want any chitchat. He's not cheap, but charges less than Geeks On Call. He stuck with the problem until he conquered it. He also downloaded some free software for me. And gave me advise.

He wasn't so prompt in getting back to me but once he showed up he immediately sized up the problem, had the software to fix it, and cleaned everything up in under 15 minutes. I thought it would be a 2 hour job so I then asked him to set up a new wireless printer. That didn't take very long either so I kept asking him to fix little irritating things on the PCs that I would never have called someone to fix--but he was there and he was fast and as far as I can tell he was really good.

Cameron Jones responded to my email and set up a date for service as soon as I was available. He arrived on time, very professional and fixed my problem. In addition to fixing the inital problems I was having, he also installed 1 GB of RAM to improve performance on my computer. I will definately call Cameron if I experience any other problems and would highly recommend his services to anyone seeking help with their computer.

Like another reviewer, our PC (vintage 2002) was SLOW; took forever to boot up; web navigation was molasses-in-January slow; a new printer (HP Photosmart) kept prompting a ?new drive detected? message (this was due to the memory card readers); and, and incomplete security updating. All maddening, but being ?Children of the Depression? we were not going to toss a perfectly good computer to buy another one without proof that this one was irretrievable. We needed someone who could make our computer faster and extend its useful life. We found Cameron on Angie's List and chose him based on reviews, his website, and his proximity. He was very responsive to our initial phone call for help with an inoperable CD drive. He visited promptly and replaced the CD drive and took the time to talk with us about other problems. He quickly diagnosed these - needing more memory, answered questions concerning a new monitor and gave his recommendation for a low cost one we ordered online. We arranged for him to visit after the monitor arrived to install it (has saved an acre in desk space, is brighter and very easy to read), more memory, and address the other processing and error messages mentioned above. After he installed the additional memory, the speed improved markedly (now it?s actually fun to use the computer). As for the printer glitch, he uninstalled the printer, cleverly visited a few bulletin boards and discovered this was a known problem and was able to copy the appropriate code and reinstall the printer software and voila ? perfection. He also downloaded some free programs he thought we could use and updated others (Foxfire, etc.). He worked quickly, efficiently and explained what he was doing very clearly. If need be, and without hesitation, we will use him again and have already recommended him to others who are happy to have found such a capable and responsive computer guy, too. BTW, we are dog lovers and we invited Cameron to bring his little dog with him when he visited to install the monitor, memory, etc. Katy, Cameron?s Lhasa apso, is a confident, well-mannered dog and a pleasure to entertain.

I would recommend Cameron to anyone needing computer repair services. He is very personable and professional and his price is very reasonable.

Very Satisfied. Very personable and willing to accommodate all our needs, suggestions, etc. And when appropriate, made suggestions and/or told us how things could be done better. A few glitches occurred but they were short lived as Cameron analyzed the problems and solved them. He left after 3 1/2 hours of a lot of work.
