My hard drive crashed on May 7 and I called Cameron who tried to help me fix it over the phone. He came the next day and installed a new hard drive and windows. On our other computer, he installed a new key board and mouse that we had and installed a new battery we had and added 1GB RAM. He also installed a new modem we had and update our wireless router. Further he add Dropbox to both our computers to back up our files. In order to recover the data from the corrupt hard drive, he had to take the disk to his office. When he recovered the data he installed it on the new hard drive remotely. We are very pleased with the results of his work.

This is the second time I've used Cameron Jones and both jobs were done quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable cost.

I have used him several times. He's worked on almost every computer I've owned. He's absolutely wonderful. He is one of the nicest people I've ever known. I have recommended him to friends who have similarly satisfied with his work. When I started using him, he was the only person there but he may have a couple of people working for him now. It's home grown business and I'd rather do business with people in the community. He started the business and he's grown it tremendously. I think he's expanding. He will come by and do anything onsite that you want. He's very accommodating.

Excellent. From the very first email he was polite and professional. I communicated via email and I was surprised to see an email reply almost instantaneously. I took the computer and dropped it off with him, 24hr turnaround. The whole experience was smooth as silk.

He did a great job. He was great for someone who knows nothing about computers.

Mr. Jones was punctual, very polite and personable, and very knowledgeable. I thought I might need a new video card, but he didn't, which pleased me. He gently suggested I might want to upgrade my operating system and my entire machine, for that matter. I'll do that, maybe. Someday. I think. His advice is good, however. I have already recommended him to friends.

On Saturday morning I got a virus on my desktop computer. I used my laptop to go to Angie's List and found Cameron so sent him an e-mail. He called me back within probably 30 minutes and I explained the situation and symptoms to him. He told me he did not have any time over the weekend but said he could walk me through some steps that might resolve the problem. While I was on my laptop he directed me to a web site and told me now to download a free software program. He told me to copy the program onto a thumb drive on the laptop then gave me the procedures to restart my desktop in safe mode and run the virus software. I followed Cameron's instructions and after about 40 minutes I was all done. So far it appears the virus is gone as everything has been functioning normally for about a day now. So, Cameron never came to the house to do any work but he was more than happy to tell me how I might be able to fix the problem on my own and it appears that worked. I was very impressed that, 1, he called me back so quickly and, 2, he walked me through how how to fix the problem on my own at no charge. Clearly if I ever do have another problem I will certainly use him. The only potential down side is that he indicated he does not normally work evenings which might be an issue for household where everyone works. Very positive experience all around.

Called Cameron after seeing his listing and reviews on Angie's list. He responded quickly and arrived on time. There is a travel charge, but he does NOT bill you for an hour as soon as he walks in the door. He bills in 15 minute increments. We have used him on two occasions now and were very pleased with his expertise and attention to our questions and problems.

I found Cameron's info on Angie's List. He was super responsive, cordial and very accommodating. He removed the hard drive from my lap top for donation for free, and updated the operating system and added more memory/capacity to our hard drive - so we could keep our 2008 computer for a longer period of time. He did this in lightning speed, though couldn't pick up the computer until I returned from vacation. I would highly recommend his services.

Cameron is the best computer professional and technician that I have ever employed. This is the guy you want. He responded immediately to my request for help and worked around my schedule. After a brief explanation of my problems and frustrations he went to work. Cameron explained to me the problems he found. From start to finish he helped me understand what he was doing and gave me all the options for completing the repair. Cameron Jones is honest, fair, extremely professional, and very enjoyable to get to know. The best evaluation is my PC passed the grandchildren test. They all believe I have a new computer and provider. They marvel at the change in performance and are praising me for the speed and responsiveness. Thanks Cameron - you saved me.

The process is painless, we arranged drop off and pick up of the computer via email. After dropping it off, i received a detailed response with options very soon. There was no pressure to choose more expensive options - once I selected what i wanted done which was just to secure the data not try and fix the computer it was completed that same day. Overall a great experience in computer repair.

He ran into traffic on the way to my house and called me twice to let me know what time he would arrive. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem after carefully checking different components in my hard drive. Unfortunately I needed to buy a new hard drive. He told me the most important qualities I should look for in choosing a new hard drive. After he left I looked on-line and got it down to 4 different options. He asked me to call if I needed help deciding which I did and he helped me choose the best one for the best price. Once the new hard drive came in he transferred all my data from my old hard drive to the new one, this took about 3 hours. He was very efficient and answered all my questions. He also showed me how to use Picassa and helped me with my son's lap top which needed the viral software updated and adobe updated. Overall I was extremely pleased, he was pleasant, efficient, and very knowledgeable about computers. I would definitely use him in the future.

He was able to recover most of the data off of the old one. He was present when I delivered and picked up my computer. Did the work on time and correctly; bill was exactly as estimated. I've been back top him since for other computer work.

When I first called, he was out of the country. He provided a message that alerted to me to the fact that he couldn't immediately respond and then followed up. Cameron was very flexible to meet my small window of availability, coming out on the weekend. He fixed both of my problems and we also upgraded my software security program. Additionally, he provided software to allow automatic updates of frequently used software (e.g., Adobe, Firefox). Then I asked him what he knew about televisions since all of my electronics were unplugged during a recent room painting. He got the tv running, ascertained my new blue ray had a bad cable and provided a replacement at no charge. He also had an extensive conversation with Verizon to procure me a new DVR/cable box as my cable box would not respond to a remote control signal. Additionally, we spoke about possible phone and other mobile device integration at a later date. I have worked with a computer repair facility where I took the computer in. I have also worked with another firm that came to the house. Cameron was faster, more articulate and got 3 pieces of equipment up and running in under 2 hours. I thought the price was reasonable and I really appreciated his ability to talk at my level of comprehension, no matter what the issue. I would definitely use him again and would definitely recommend his services. I'm sitting here smiling at my antivirus icon that no longer has a big red X on it and watching TV while I do it.

I had my own incorrect theories about what was wrong when the laptops needed repair. He is able to find the real problem and explain it without making me feel like an idiot. He's prompt, professional, and competent. He fairly priced parts and encouraged me to not put more into upgrading than I really needed to. The total charge mentioned represents work on one machine on two occasions (different, unrelated problems) and a second machine on one occasion. It's bizarre that Angie's list requires home build year on a computer repair. I've put in computer build year.

Cameron is simply superb. I could not have asked for better service. I will use him in the future for any computer problems I may have. I recommend him totally without qualification.

We have an imac, a mac book pro and an ipad. We live in an large older, brick house and couldn't get internet upstairs or in any area more than approximately 50 feet from the router. I needed to solve this problem in a simple and cost effective way. I contacted two companies both with great ratings on Angie's list. The other company made an initial visit and the job sounded very complicated. The representative talked about drilling holes in the ceiling and running cables etc. Cameron talked to me over the phone, asked a few pertinent questions, suspected that the problem was the brick walls and knew how to solve it. He arrived with everything necessary to do the job, installed the equipment very quickly, sorted out the back up and gave me some tips on how to clean up my computer. His quote was very reasonable compared to the other company. His solution was simple and did not involve any structural work. We have had internet all over the house for a few months now with absolutely no problems. If I ever have computer related questions again I will turn to Cameron, he is a pleasure to work with and really knows what he is doing.

He understood what I needed in a computer. He unpacked and installed the computer. He deleted stuff off of my old computer and put it in the new computer. He deleted everything on my old computer and set me up with internet and all of the programs I had before. His price was very reasonable. He's a very personable young man and he's quick. He did everything in a little over an hour. I thought he went beyond when he went with me to the store to get the new computer.

I contacted him, explained my problem and scheduled an appointment. The problem was OBE so I did not require his services..

He contacted me immediately. Showed up on time. Fixed a downloading problem I was having with my computer. Suggested some upgrades to modernize my system. Excellent work ethic and job.

Our iMac had crashed. Cameron determined the hard drive was irreparable, replaced drive, set up new drive & was able to recover all data from the old drive! During this process Cameron called a couple of times to keep me informed of the progress & to inquire about options for fixing the problem. I dropped off my computer at Cameron's location because it was the most timely way to get the computer to him & because he knew up front the type & amount of work he was going to have to do to fix it. If you have simpler troubles he will come to your home to work on your computer. Cameron is very professional & knowledgable. I highly recommend him for working on your Mac computer(s)!

I found Cameron Jones IT on Angie's List and was impressed with Cameron?s feedback. I checked out his website and then emailed him asking to set up an appointment. He called me and we scheduled a visit at my home. Cameron arrived on time and was very professional. He worked three straight hours and resolved all the computer-related concerns and frustrations that I have accumulated over many months! My computer had been running slowly and Cameron found and resolved the source of the problem. He hooked up my router and got me set up for wireless, then synched my PC, my laptop, and my iPhone for wireless, email, and software. He made recommendations that will make my life a lot easier (including a free anti-virus instead of the paid service I had been using). He connected and set up the Wii to my new TV system. He has responded promptly (via email) to a couple of subsequent questions I?ve had. I?m very pleased with his service and price structure. He?s now my new ?go to? guy for computer problems, and I will definitely recommend him to friends and neighbors.
