Description of Work: Installed additional memory to a computer, determined why printers were working and smoothed a few home network issues.

Description of Work: I am relatively computer-savvy but after a day and a half of frustration trying to hook up my existing printer (has worked flawlessly for the past 5 years) to the new combined Xfinity router/wifi transmitter, I was ready to take a sledgehammer to the entire setup. Cameron came and very quickly determined that the new Xfinity device was not communicating to my printer and vice-versa -- thanks again, Xfinity. :-( | |He found a very effective work-around and how the entire setup is working just fine. A great job and very professionally done.

Description of Work: Cameron has worked with me on a number of problems with my computer. He is a great problem solver as is Brandon his associate. They are both smart guys and willing to take on problems beyond just computers. If it is a simple fix they will find it. The services are not cheap but I have found it worthwhile.

Description of Work: Solved an issue with accessing a online site. Offered other suggestions about security when using the Internet.

Description of Work: Set up my new computer with all of my stuff from the old computer. Then wiped the old computer so I could donate it. Cameron also removed the hard drive from a very old laptop that would not boot and was able to recover some of the photos I had stored on it (one at a time...very labor intensive). He also loaded a nice adblocker on my new computer. He was here for over 3 hours and did an excellent job. I would use him again if I every have any trouble with my new PC.

Description of Work: Cameron was at my home for an extended visit in order to set up and transfer my data to a new computer. I truly appreciated his professionalism and wouldn't hesitate to call on him again or refer him.

Description of Work: Cameron did a number of tasks. He fixed my laptop by finding a problem with the spyware, so I could access my email again. He removed the files from my very old desktop and installed them on my laptop. He installed a few new files, such as Chrome, Firefox, Picasa, and Dropbox. He even helped set up a new iphone which I received a few days before. All services were done professionally and with sufficient explanation for a computer illiterate like me.

Description of Work: My wireless printer had developed an issue that, after several days of effort, both I and a friend were unable to resolve. Selecting from Angie's List, I emailed Cameron with a description on a Saturday morning. And he called me a little over an hour later, identified the problem in less than 5 minutes, and had me up and running. Pleasant, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this computer rock star!

Description of Work: Cameron performed an overall evaluation of my laptop computer. I was having problems in the start-up mode and in one instance my computer completely shutdown. I'm a defense contractor and exclusively use my [company] laptop to do my everyday job; without is a complete non-productive day. After finding Cameror's reference on Angie's List, I called and left a voicemail; he quickly replied and we set-up an appointment for the following day. He arrived promptly and on time. We discussed my situation and he began working my laptop to attempt to replicate the issues I had witness; and of course, as Murphy's Law would have it, the computer performed flawlessly! Therefore, he showed me and completed some system test and cleaned up some drives and streamlined some of my processes to enhance my laptop's performance. I was completely satisfied with his assessment and service and will definitely use his company again in the future as needed.

Description of Work: Desktop computer was very slow. Cameron cleaned up a bunch of things and installed more memory (1 gigabyte) and a back-up external hard-drive. He set the printer up for wireless service. He installed a program to periodically back-up the system automatically.
