Description of Work: This provider remodeled two full baths,a half-bath and installed a third full bath on our rec room level.This owner-operator business was a pleasure to deal with, and as attorneys, we admit,we have high standards. The owner installer is a licensed plumber, who is extremely punctual, highly skilled at bathroom design, laying tile and installing drywall.Given his exceptional skill level we expanded our budget to include high end materials and continue to receive compliments on the results 3 years later.When we called him last week about a minor warranty repair after 3 years, he promptly returned our phone call, and did the repair without charge.This is a wonderful company to do business with..

Description of Work: I found his name on angies list. His quote wasn't the best but he was willing to start sooner than the others. After we settled on price, he started the work soon. He is very talkative and sounded friendly in the beginning. However, things changed as the work progressed. Two things to be aware of before employing him. Make sure you clarify what if the situation turns different. He will charge you every extra penny in the name of what isn't agreed in the estimate. For example, when the vanity was replaced the contract said "install vanity". However he charged extra to adjust piping and move the electrical socket to fit the new vanity. even when the vanity was bought with his consultation. Also when we asked to use tile for skirting the floor, and not baseboard, he charged extra. He also charged 80 per extra soap dish holder that he installed, seemed overpriced. At the end i thought i was paying him for individual items and not as overall project. Worse when I started to negotiate on the 'surcharges' his tone became louder and unpleasant. Overall the work quality was satisfactory but a few things were bad. In the good things, the plumbing seems fine so far, the floor tiles look good, and the toilet installation looks good. Among the bad, the bathtub still has lot of mortar drops after installing tiles, the skirting was not well done, and overpriced work as he didn't do many things i assumed to be standard. .

Description of Work: Gary did a wonderful job remodeling our shower. We hired him to demolish, re-tile and add shower fixtures to our master shower before we have the frameless glass installed. His work is detailed, accurate and beautiful. He also keeps the work area exceptionally clean which we really appreciated. Finally, Gary is a very nice man and it shows that he takes pride in the work that he does. He wants the finished product to be exactly what you want.

Description of Work: Gary installed a new bathtub. His work was excellent; quality detail and precision.

Description of Work: We called Royal Plumbing a few weeks back and Gary called us within a day or two. We scheduled a Sat. am time for him to come over and look at our shower that needed the tiles to be taken down, new wallboard and re-tiled. Gary gave us a reasonable estimate including re-tiling the floor in that bathroom as well as replacing the faucet in that bathroom sink and declogging it! He also let us know ahead of time, that it would probably be at least 3 weeks before he could start work with us because of work committments. He showed us photos of bathrooms that he had worked on previously. Gary emailed us an itemized estimate of costs for the bathroom. We opted not to do the bathroom floor at this time, to keep the costs down. We were pleased to get a call from Gary saying he could actually begin sooner. We found him easy to work with, very punctual and focused totally on his work. Disruption to the household was very minimal and Gary used dropcloths to keep the cleanup simple. We liked the shower and his design, which really opens up the bathroom. After completing the shower, Gary even admitted that floor tiles we have now, seem fine with the design of the new shower. And as a bonus, our cats seemed like him and wanted to watch him, although they were kept out of that room. Overall a good experience!

Description of Work: We called Gary right before the Christmas holidays for an estimate on replacing a tile floor, toilet and sink in the basement bathroom, which we were hoping to have done during the holiday break. He came out immediately to give us an estimate which was comparable to others, and we decided to go with him because he was very friendly and accommodating. He did the work in two days. We love the beautiful new tile floor, but unfortunately immediately had problems with the Home Depot Glacier Bay toilet not flushing properly. Gary cheerfully returned several times to fix the problem. I have delayed submitting this report to see if the problems continued, and they have. We believe the issue is the quality of the toilet not Gary's workmanship, and we've learned how to manage the toilet (hence the C for "quality"). We highly recommend Gary, but wouldn't recommend Glacier Bay toilets.

Description of Work: Called Royal Plumbing, while researching prices to have my poly pipes replaced. They were completely honest about not having the experience with this type of job and advised me that while any plumber may be willing to give me an estimate for the job, my best bet (pricing and quality wise) would be to base my search on poly repiping specialists. His honestly was completely refreshing. I've revamped my search and have a couple of estimates coming from companies specializing in hammering out a repiping job. Thanks so much for your honesty and advice Royal Plumbing! I have a small bath that needs remodeling, when I've recovered financially from replacing my ticking time bomb pipes (poly pipes are WELL known to fail), I will be sure to give you a call.

Description of Work: Gary was very nice but we were not comfortable with the way he wanted to do the tiling. He wanted to do the tile over the existing tile. He also did not want to tile the shower floor but replace the shower pan on the floor. But he was nice about it. We went with another contractor.

Description of Work: Gary repaired a leaking hose connection outside my home and installed a new connection on the other side of my house.

Description of Work: Replaced our full bath on the second floor. They made necessary repairs and updated our 1960's bathroom beautifully.
