Excellent job. Provided quick assessment and cost estimate after one phone call. Able to schedule limb removal within three days of estimate. Removed on time, as promised. Excellent job cleaning the yard. Only way I could tell they were there was that the limb was gone. No sawdust or branches in the yard.

They were FANTASTIC, from the initial call to the prompt and fair quote to letting us know they would need to reschedule because of rain to excellent service and clean up. A++++++++

I consulted Angie's list for companies to trim my magnolia. I love this tree very much and did not want it to be damaged this winter. I contacted two tree service companies for an estimate, Tyson's Tree Service, Inc. and Richard's Tree Service. I chose Richard's Tree Service because they sent an arborist to look at my tree and tell me what I needed to do to keep it healthy. I am extremely pleased with the work done by Richard's Tree Service. The price was within my range and I was especially happy to have an arborist provide advice on how to keep it healthy.

The man from the Tree Service was prompt and professional.

They blew me away! Absolutely the best .Showed up on time with 12 guys and 4 trucks! Work was done in 4 hrs. Project 8 was left off there work order. Lead climber looked at me funny when I asked him to go up and trim last 2 trees. (way up) I was puzzled. Not sure about his reluctance to do this job. I did not have him do all I the trimming of these trees that I wanted. I then checked my copy of his work order when he left and realized the problem. Job 8 was not on his work order. Just a honest office mistake .The fact that he went up the 2 trees at all says it all! I called the office right away, and they took full blame for the error. They said they would call Monday or Tuesday for a go back. They called Tuesday. Showed up on time again and with full crew. They joked with me about the mistake. We all had a laugh. In 35 minutes they had done everything I wanted! I cant say it any better than the best!

Very responsive with quote. Set up appointment quickly and showed up on time. Work was well done and exceeded my expectations. I originally only asked for one tree service to be completed. They were flexible to work over time to handle a second request. Would highly recommend them for tree service.

The work occurred over 3 visits. The first took care of the urgent need to branches resting on the roof. That work was completed later (with my consent) at a time better fitting their schedule. The last piece of work was a separate job that I decided to do as a followup. At all times the work was excellent, and they were easy to work with and responsive.

Had to reschedule twice because of weather, but each time Richard's followed up to make sure rescheduled time would work with my schedule. On the day they performed the work, they showed up on time, with a crew size appropriate for the size of tree, and was very expeditious in its removal.

Outstanding service at a very competitive price. They have a certified arborist (George Berube) who gave both expert and practical advice. A dozen workers showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and did a terrific job of cleaning up after they were finished, including raking the entire back lawn. They stuck to their original cost estimate, even though the job was a little more extensive than they'd first thought. Best of all, they were very protective of our many flower beds. We were very impressed and will hire them again in the future. A+

The crew that came out to do the work was outstanding. George Berube, the co-owner of the company, worked right along with his men. The work was tricky since it involved cutting down branches close to buildings and other trees and it was accomplished with no damage. They were all very polite,very conscientious, and seemed to enjoy their work. The clean up left my yard looking better than before they came.

They were on time and did a terrific job. They charged me the estimated price which included a twenty percent discount. I would use them again.

I did not use Richards Tree Service, but would highly recommend them to anyone. I have been in business for over 25 years, and the free estimate and gracious decline of service was a true revelation of the over-all character of this company. THANK YOU TO KAY! A++++++++++ USE THIS COMPANY!

The company was very professional, from the call setting up the estimate to the people letting us know when the work was scheduled and then rescheduled because of the severe storms we've had. The workers were great to work with and cleaned up all of the debris, tree litter, and branches for us. We would certainly use this company again for all of our services. The 10% coupon is a real bonus.

The company gave us an estimate the first work day after we called, and did the work the day after that. They were very neat and very little litter was left afterward. The work was done as described on the estimate. There was widespread tree damage in our area from severe storms, and we were worried we might not get service before the branch broke the wires. We appreciated the promptness of the company's response.

This was my second experience with Richard's, and, overall, I was pleased with the service and the price.

The job was professional from the estimate to the final removal of debris. The office representative was helpful and amiable. And the trees look great! We have a much improved curb appeal and a safer environment.

The estimate occurred quickly without me having to be home. The quoted price was good and the actual cost was the same as the estimate. The service was performed shortly after the estimate. I happened to be home during the service. They started early, including ''mulching'' the debris in the street starting at around 7:30 AM on a Tuesday which was quite loud for that early hour. The work itself was done efficiently. One of the large removed limbs momentarily caught on the power lines to my house during descent, although a ground worker used a hooked pole to prevent the full weight of the limb from weighing down the power lines. I was nervous watching that but there was no apparent impact. Negligible debris was left, good cleanup. My only complaint aside from the early/loud mulching was that the estimator quoted removing the large maple to approx. ground level, but the team had to stop at the level of an adjacent fence, leaving a 2 foot high stump. Estimator should have foreseen.

Work performed as advertised - were willing to negotiate price. Would use again.

Everything was excellent except the price. They did give a discount for having a coupon. Originally wanted to hire them, but price was way to much as compared to other companies. Did receive a follow up call to see if all questions had been answered okay. Thought this was a good thing thing to do.

Richard's Tree Service provided excellent service from the initial phone call through the final job. They showed up on time, charged the price quoted, and did thorough job.

Representative, Rock, came within two days, provided written quote and proof of insurance coverage. Rock was professional and polite. He inspected another tree I was concerned about, which had been struck by lightening, and advised me against cutting it down (he told me how to treat it against further insect damage). Crew arrived as scheduled. Work done as agreed upon, within two weeks of my phone call.

The gentleman came out and gave me a quote of $700 to remove two live limbs (that were too close to the house) and some dead wood in my oak tree. I scheduled the work and the day he came out he said that since the foliage had come out he could see there was a lot more dead wood and it would take twice as long. He said it would also cost another $700, doubling the original estimate. I understood this might be true and offered $500 more instead, and he would not take the job for that amount. I think it was unprofessional to not stand by their estimate, he is an expert after all. He at least could have said at the estimate that he might find more later after the foliage came out.

Office personnel were friendly and responsive. Cutting crew was large, approx. 10 men. They worked very quickly and asked specific questions before beginning work. The cleanup was so complete, my yard looked better after they left than it did before. The final bill was actually LESS than the estimate.

I received an estimate, and because I was unclear about whether the estimate included a tree that I wanted to keep, I contacted the company prior to the service and told them that I would mark the trees with yellow ribbon, because I could not be home when the service would occur. When I returned home, unfortunately, I found out that the service had removed the unmarked tree, in addition to those marked. I immediately contacted the company, who apologized, and said that they had clearly made a mistake. They were very apologetic, and they removed the cost of that tree removal from the final bill.

The work was performed when stated and was done very professionally. They were careful not to damage any part of the house or yard when removing the branches and ground up stump. Highly recommended.
