Description of Work: We had several trees trimmed that were leaning on the house. The men were courteous and did a great job. They were also good about letting us know the time of their arrival.

Description of Work: Very professional. Took down a huge double-trunk oak tree that was between my house and the house next door. No room for error. They were on time, covered the area over which they needed to drive their heavy equipment with large sheets of plywood. Cleaned up and removed all limbs. They ground the stump and leveled the hole. They also cut a section of the trunk my son had requested for a project of his. In addition, the trimmed back several limbs of my huge maple tree that were sagging toward the culdesac.

Description of Work: We've used them twice in the 10 years we've been here. They took down 3-4 trees, trimmed the other trees on the lot, and cleaned up when they were done.

Description of Work: I have had this firm come out on more than one occasion for tree removal. They have always provided such ridiculously high quotes vs. the competition -- more than double this time vs. 3 other quotes -- that I simply won't bother to even call them for estimates in the future.

Description of Work: We had two trees in our front yard that needed to be trimmed. We got quotes from three companies and they were the least expensive, but not by a lot to where I felt there would be a difference in the quality of service. They were very nice guys and on their first time out our neighbor was not home to move their car so Richard's Tree Service said to just give them a call to come back next week when the neighbor was home to move the car. They were very nice about the situation and didn't make me feel bad nor make an issue about having to come back. They even said they would hold the check until they came back to finish the project and didn't charge any additional fees to come back to finish up. I would use them again in the future.

Description of Work: We received an estimate for $3,100 and then signed an agreement to have the work performed.... But they didn't show up on the date they promised on the agreement. Then we asked if they could rush out and take care of the "hanger", but they couldn't squeeze us in. Although the work was never performed, I feel that we received poor service.

Description of Work: Tree service representative arrived late and the estimate was more than four times another estimate. I used the cheaper source before and received excellent service.

Description of Work: Wanted a tree removed or trimmed depending on the estimate. After seeing their estimate its a wonder how they are still in business. I think they didn't want my business even though it was not a hard job. $1800 to trim or $3200 to remove?? Come on. Quite obvious whoever estimated was feeling pretty lazy or they just simply over priced. Had 4 other estimates and the next highest estimate was $1200 dollars cheaper. Yes...1200! I went with Stokes Tree Solutions who did everything for $800 dollars. Looking at all these reports I'm wondering why? They never did follow up either, all others did. Another reason to think they simply didn't want the effort.

Description of Work: Evaluated the health of a number of trees in our yard. Removed large dead branches from multiple large trees in our back yard.

Description of Work: We had a tree limb that was dangerously close to some wires and was hanging off and could hit our neighbor's house or car if it fell. We called them and another company. They were the first to respond, came round the next morning and took care of the tree limb within 2 hours. Very happy with the service overall.
