On time. Did a fantastic job. Even went as far as to use hand scrubbing on stairs.

Because the owner knew our style of house, he gave me an estimate over the phone. However, once he arrived and saw the condition of our carpets, he told me that he normally charges xx for pre-treating. He did not charge me for the extra pre-treating he had to do.

Setting up the appointment was easy, as he was quick to respond to my inquiry. He came onsite within a day to provide a free cost estimate. Once I was ready to have the service, he was quick to set the onsite appointment around my schedule. I like that he was onsite to the do the work (as opposed to sending workers). He brought one helper, who was also exceptional (very knowledgeable about carpets).

They did a great job. There were lots of pet and other stains from a really awful tenant. I was given a very realistic idea of how clean the carpets could get.... there were some stains that would just not come out. He cleaned them, getting rid of the pet smell and the pet stains. There was some pink paint (or maybe makeup?) that did not come out, but other than that, it looks almost new again! My new (and wonderful!) tenants are very happy with the results!

Chris was here last year - the first time the rugs were cleaned in four years. They did a great job. This time I did not wait as long so when they were finished, the carpets looked brand new. All the stains were removed and aftet two weeks, I am still so pleased with the work they did. They were on time, were careful with the furniture, and were totally professional. I called Chris Murray, owner of Exceptional Upholstery Carpet and Rug Cleaning on Wednesday, March 5. I explained that one of our clients had tracked an oily, black substance on the carpet in our office. There were many unsightly spots that I unsuccessfully tried to clean. Since it was a small job I wasn't sure if Chris would be able to help us. Chris was wonderful on the phone and said that he would either stop by later that day or come the next day. True to his word he came on Thursday and the oily, black spots are gone - you would never know the carpet had been stained. I was most impressed by Chris's willingness to fit us into his schedule. We take pride in the appearance of our busy office and Chris's quick response and customer service skills were excellent. I will certainly call Chris when our carpet needs to be cleaned again.

It went very well. Chris Murray is the owner. He and an assistant came out to do the work. Chris really cared how the job went. They gave me a 15% discount just for being an Angie's List member.

Chris Murray (company president) and his assistant showed up 9 minutes early for our appointment. They took particular care in covering their shoes on arrival to keep out the dirt. They proceeded to spend considerable time cleaning the upholstery with a steam hose running from their modern well equipped van into the house. The results were excellent. In addition, they cleaned and resealed the grout on the entrance tile and in an upstairs bath. The grout looks like new. In the past when we've had upholstery cleaned, there was a strong lingering chemical smell. Not so with Exceptional Upholstery. By whatever means they used, the furniture not only looks clean, but smells clean. Bravo. Chris and his assistant were extremely cordial and polite, and worked very efficiently. We would certainly recommend them to others.

When I called and scheduled an appointment with them, I was told cost per square feet and extra charge for stairs. They showed up on time. They get to work immediately. We went through the stains and the owner was very candid whether they will be able to get rid of all the stains. They completed the work in the promised time. Not all stains were cleared but I don't think it is their fault. I have used other carpet cleaning companies before. This company cleaned the best. I told them that I am Angie's list member and got a 15% discount on the spot for this. Thanks Angie's List. I will use this company again for carpet cleaning.

Chris and Herherth introduced themselves, assessed the areas to be cleaned, then got right to work. The basement has an old berber carpet and there were some spots they could not remove due to age and quality of the carpet. The stairs were also carpeted with the old berber and they came out very well. The family room has a new plush carpet. There were some spots which were very bad and they got them all out. They did such a great job and were so accommodating to us, we had them take three areas rugs to be cleaned, one of which needed binding. We will deal with them for all our rug and carpeting needs.

The carpet in the bedroom was bunched up in several areas. The room was only lightly soiled, but with a glue stain. After removing several inches around edges of carpet and cleaning thoroughly the carpet looked great! I had almost replaced the carpet because I didn't think it could be replaced, but now I won't need to. I feel like I saved quite a bit of money!

Awesome! I was not convinced it was clean-able and thought I'd need to replace the carpet. It looks and smells great and makes the whole house look good.

These guys were awesome!!! I have never seen a carpet cleaning company do such a good job. They arrived on time, were super efficient, scrubbed the stairs - by hand -and made my oriental rug look like new. (My son is a mechanic with seriously dirty boots and my dog uses the carpet as a napkin to wipe her beard after meals, so this was no mean feat.) And the carpets came out so soft! They also re-stretched my master bedroom carpet so it looks brand-spanking new. I would definitely use this company again in the future and have already referred them to two of my friends. Exceptional indeed!

He was professional and worked to be on my time schedule as best as he could. He returned my phone calls and did a beautiful job on my carpet. After leaving I noticed many waves in my carpet (It had been replaced and had not been put back very tightly.) He assured me once it dried it would lay flat and if there were any problems he would come back out. He was correct and once it was completely dry it was flat and looked amazing. Over a month later it still looks great. His price was reasonable compared to other quotes. I would absolutely use him again.

Chris, the owner, was very responsive in making sure my carpets were cleaned today. I had the final push of poking holes for electric service by another Angies List provider and also had granite counter tops installed today. Herbert was excellent in working around the granite installers so the carpets were done at the same time, saving me some PTO at work. I highly recommend Exceptional Cleaning, the quality of care and willingness to work with you is awesome!

Wow! What a great service! I called Exceptional Upholstery, Carpet and Rug Cleaning after another company refused the job stating the carpet was too soiled. With company arriving in a few days I was in a panic. Chris was sympathetic, found a spot in his schedule and came the next day. He and his technician did a fantastic job and the carpet looks like new! I will definitely use his company again!

I called and spoke with Chris. He was extremely courteous and timely. They were able to work me into their schedule to remove several pet stains and ground in dirt. It was like having a new carpet again. They were thorough, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

Came to my house withing hours after I first called. Performed the service right away and my problem was gone after that. Very friendly and professional. Whole job only took an hour. Wonderful.

I chose Exceptional based on reviews and their extraction cleaning method. Chris gave me a quote over the phone when we set up my appointment. He arrived on time with Herbert. We did a quick run through/review of work to be done and they got to work. They are a well oiled machine that worked very efficiently. Both were very friendly and chatted as they went along, not only to myself, but my three small children as well. Very pleased with how my carpets turned out. My phone quote was accurate, although I made a last minute change of wanting a few pieces of furniture moved. My 4th bedroom was smaller than expected, so the extra cost of moving things was canceled out by the smaller room, so my final cost was the same as the quote. Would def recommend and hire again!
