Our ten year old sectional sofa, which was heavily used by kids and dogs, had never been cleaned. It took a bit of work but it looks incredible. All the spots and odors disappeared The second hand chair turned out beautiful and seriously looks brand new

BEST IN 40 YEARS!!! Sorry for the caps, but they deserve it. Far better than the various national and local outfits we've had. Last national company explained "oh, the stairs just have expected wear", but Exceptional's result looks like NEW! On time (early but would've returned if necessary), completely professional. Small company that's the best we've seen.

We purchased four (4) very nice oriental carpets at an estate sale. They were exceptionally dirty from years of only surface cleaning. We had Exceptional clean another rug of ours and they did a very nice job, so I called them again for this job. Chris Murray came to the house to pick them up, and took them to be hand washed. In under a week he delivered the beautifully clean carpets to our house. The entire experience was as good as it gets, and we couldn't be happier. I wouldn't use anyone else.

They arrived promptly and started on the fourth floor and worked their way down. They took care of stains in the guest bedroom. They were thorough and careful and I would use them again. I highly recommend them.

This is the most amazing company and I will never go with anyone else. They are completely professional, thorough, and the carpet looks like new when they go. I have used them for a few years now and I've been happy each and every time. They are a bit pricier than the company I used before, but totally worth the extra money. I agree with all of the other laudatory reviews of this business. Our experience was similar. Our phone call was answered by the owner, Chris Murray. He and his crew arrived right on time and did the work within the time frame promised. The cost was as estimated. Mr. Murray is knowledgeable and helpful. He and his crew are professional in appearance and their work. Our sofa and loveseat look fabulous. We are going to bring them back for some carpet cleaning. They're great!

Chris and Herbert were excellent! I spilled teal blue paint on my new basement carpeting. They showed up at my house about 20 minutes after I called, and got the stains out! While at my home, they removed another carpet stain that we thought would never come out. I highly recommend them, and will definitely call them again in the future. They were very careful to slow down and put up corner guards for my walls, wear shoe covers and put down a tarp to keep their equipment from damaging my home.

Excellent experience, from quote to completion of the work. Chris provided a good description of what they would do, and an estimate of the cost. We picked a day for the work to be done; they arrived exactly on time, and did a great job of cleaning rooms where our puppies had spent time during house-breaking. The results were outstanding. The stains, odor, and dirt were all removed in the course of cleaning. Overall: Chris was a pleasure to do business with. The quality of service was outstanding, and the price was very reasonable. He is well versed in carpet care and suggested the proper procedures to follow for the different carpets and rugs. He is very conscientious and polite and was wonderful to work with. He and his assistant worked very hard and did a very thorough cleaning. My carpets and rugs look great and I am very happy with the quality of this work. I dealt with Chris Murray who is the owner. Chris was very responsive and dealt with my changing schedules for the work. He was pleasant, efficient and got everything done in under 2 hrs with his assistant, Herbert. All of the cleaned items came out very well and I was pleased with everything they did. Since I was giving the sofa to a member of my family, I wanted to have it deordorized too, which was done to my satisfaction. I will use this company again in the future.

Chris was on time, very professional during the who process, focus on work, did a nice job on everything and explained stuff. Also put in cleaner to deodorize dog pee. Worked out fine.. Thanks Chris, will use again.

This is the third time I have used this company and I highly recommend them. They cleaned all the carpets in our four-story townhouse (two sets of stairs), plus several area rugs. There was a stain in the guest bedroom from this summer. I should have called them when I saw it but waited until we did the whole house. They did the best they could and I am pleased that one can barely see the stain. The house looks great and refreshed. We did not walk on the carpet until the next morning to give it a chance to completely dry. Very pleased!

My appointment was at 3pm but Chris called about 1pm to see if it was ok to come earlier which was great! I wanted the carpet on the stairs cleaned because our 18 mo. old granddaughter will be visiting and she currently loves to climb the stairs - I had intended to remove the carpet and refinish the stairs after the holidays BUT Chris (the owner) and Eric did such a good job I am rethinking my decision to remove the carpet - other carpet companies have never achieved the results they did AND in such a short time! Their work is truly EXCEPTIONAL! My stairs with light colored carpet look like new! Thank you Chris and Eric!

It went fine. They did a very nice job. They were expensive. They were very pleasant. If you have a speciality carpet, I would definitely recommend them. Their customer service is great.

We have a new dog who has had many accidents on our living room carpet. We cleaned with spot remover but the stains returned. Two daysbefore my mother was to come to our new house for the first time, the dog had a huge bout of diareha that was all over the carpet. It was clear we needed professional help. Tim was able to fit us in the very next day, and my mom entered a beautiful smelling living room with carpet that looked like new. Unbelievable. I highly recommend!!!!

It went great. They showed up on time, and did a very thorough job. They got out many pet stains. Some that were there from several years before that other cleaning companies could not get out. Some were left over, but Chris and Hubert got out more stains than anyone before, and the carpets look great!

I called Exceptional based on the many positive reviews on Angie's List. My last tenant had a very large dog and regularly harbored two other dogs in the townhouse. Although the tenant claimed to have cleaned the carpets there were pet and other stains everywhere and I thought for sure I would have to replace the carpet. Boy was I wrong. I called Exceptional for an appointment and am very glad I did. Chris Murray, President and Owner of Exceptional and one team member arrived early and immediately went to work on the carpet. They thoroughly cleaned all of it and even hand scrubbed each of the stairs. The finished job was outstanding and I will definitely hire Chris and his team again. They do excellent quality work. Next time I won't forget to bring my Angie's List coupon.

We have a dog and two kids and our 12 year old sofa was way overdue to be cleaned. I called and the owner, Chris and his team were able to squeeze me in the next day.
