Description of Work: They were fine but they failed to ask me it I wanted scotch guarding, which is very important for stain resistance.

Description of Work: Exceptional came to assess two Chinese carpets and a wing chair. They took the carpets to their facility and cleaned a very soiled chair in the home. The chair came out beautifully as did the carpets. They informed me that some pet stains might remain on the carpets, but most were able to be removed. They had originally said that the carpets would take about 10-14 business days, but they had a cancellation, and I had them back in my home within three days. Very professional.

Description of Work: Cleaned most carpeted surfaces in our house. Able to get out (better than other companies) dog urine stains. Overall very good. A bit expensive compared to other companies but also better service and quality.

Description of Work: I have used Exceptional for 3 years and have been satisfied with their work every time. I had the floors cleared of a lot of things and chairs out of the way. It didn't take them long to get the job done since they didn't have to take the time to move things. The price is a bit expensive, but it's worth it to me. The carpets aren't drenched and there is no smell. This time they cleaned them just before I went away for 2 weeks, so that helped a lot. I put everything back when I returned from the trip. |I don't remember how much I paid. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Sorry, I do not recall when they came. We had very dirty carpets; they hadn't been cleaned in years. I got an estimate over the phone since the owner knew my house model. Unfortunately, the carpets were dirtier than he had thought they would be but he honored the original estimate. I compromised and gave him an extra $25 because I thought it was the right thing to do.

Two technicians performed the service, and they were great to deal with.

Description of Work: After an unfortunate basement flood caused by construction in the house, we were unsure if we would need to replace all the carpeting. 'Exceptional' came out evaluated the situation and did a superior job. They were able to get the stains out of the carpeting in the basement. We also had them clean the stairs, hallways and bedroom carpeting. We were long overdue for a cleaning and they came out looking new. They paid special attention to the edges. They are pricier than other carpet cleaning companies, but they are worth it. We will use them anytime we need carpet cleaning.

Description of Work: Cleaned full basement, two flights of stairs family room and three bedrooms and upper foyer. They moved all necessary furniture, protected all the furniture from moisture, and cleaned the carpets thoroughly with no graying around the edges as many carpets leave behind. They also have the best attitude and friendliness without being too familiar with the client.

Description of Work: The cleaned three rooms of carpeting and two flights of stairs. They were very prompt and thorough. It was nice to know that the guy cleaning my rugs was the owner of the company, not just an employee. The only issue I had was that the carpets were very wet and took a long time to dry. I eventually helped the process by using old towels. Next time I'll ask them to do another pass or two with the extractor. Overall they did a good job.

Description of Work: Needed carpet cleaned in rental condo due to cat urine. Chris, owner and crew stopped by, exacltly on time, after finishing another job that morning. Used black light to detect urine spots, and advised it would be more cost effective to replace carpet. He, like i have done in the past in my business, gave objective advise which cost him the cleaning job. However, his crew was capable of replacing the carpet, a lower profit margin job, and i elected to replace the carpet. That is scheduled in two days- I am sure things will go well, since I was impressed at first sight and have been in the rental business a long time. The price of the new carpet was in line as another installer who wrote me after i had contacted Chris of EXCEPTIONAL CARPETS. PEOPLE LIKE HIM NEED TO BE REWARDED.

Description of Work: After a small basement flood, we needed to have the basement carpet restretched. It was a fairly small amount of water so we had pulled up the carpet and thrown away the pad in that area. I'd had trouble reaching a company I'd used before, so I checked the list for another company to do the job. I called Chris at Exceptional Carpet Cleaning, and he (plus his carpet guy) were able to come that same afternoon. I'm very happy with the carpet. while they were here, they gave me estimates on kitchen tile grout cleaning as well as replacing the basement carpet completely. I plan on hiring them to do that work when we decide to proceed.

Description of Work: They are truly exceptional! I wanted two staircases cleaned. The scheduling went smoothly, and Chris and his helper arrived within the scheduled timeframe. They went to work vacuuming the carpet and scrubbing the carpet by hand, followed by extraction of the cleaning product with their vacuum. They were neat and quiet. After they left my house, I discovered that I had failed to ask them to clean the hallway carpet that was an extension of the upper stairway. I called Chris and told him this. They were already on another job about 6 miles away. I asked him to come back at another time to clean the area I had forgotten to include. Chris called within 15 minutes and said they were coming back to clean the additional area. They returned within an hour and completed the job. I considered that above and beyond the requirement of our agreement! I will definitely use them again.
