Description of Work: I've used Abe a few times, once to replace a bathroom faucet and pipes, once to fix a leaky tub, and once to unclog a severely clogged kitchen sink. He does great work, he's professional, he is punctual and will do his best to fit you in if you have an emergency. Overall his service is terrific. But he's expensive - you say A LOT for great service. I've suggested to him to perhaps send coupons to repeat customers, or some other type of incentive to take the sting out of his prices and I do wish he would do something of that nature. I recommend him, but be sure your wallet is prepared.

Description of Work: Floor drain in the basement was overflowing. Abe's plumbing responded to my call on a Sunday afternoon and arrived as promised at 6:30 PM that same day. Price quoted was $550.00. The work took one hour to complete and was completed to my satisfaction. My only concern was the fairness of the price. I have no way of knowing if this was an appropriate rate for this service.

+ -1 moreI tried to call all the big plumbing companies that claim they have 24-hour emergency service, on Labor Day. Most of them didn't answer and didn't have an emergency number. Of the plumber's that I could reach, the quotes were crazy high - $585 from All Plumbing Arlington was the highest. Abe beat everyone's estimates, and he arrived less than 15 minutes after I hung up the phone. I live in a one bedroom condo, so a plugged sewer drain is a true emergency. I have no other options. I had already made one trip to Starbucks! Abe was concerned that he might have to haul the power auger up three flights of stairs (I'm in a top floor condo), so he gave the hand auger a try, and said he would knock 25 bucks off his estimate if he was able to avoid dragging the power auger up. It worked! Abe was able to fix the problem in fifteen minutes. There is no way I would have been able to fix this myself (although I did try). The blockage was just too far down. Abe is an extremely nice, pleasant and polite gentleman. I would HIGHLY recommend his services, and definitely use him again.
