Description of Work: Windows Universe replaced four bedroom windows, one big picture window and two other windows in a bay structure, the window over my kitchen sink, a sliding glass door, and the front door to my home. The sales person was incredibly accommodating and didn't push to upsell me on anything that would have added frivolous costs. After I signed a contract, he contacted me again to offer additional discounts. The actual installation process was done incredibly professionally, quickly, and attractively. I couldn't be happier to have finished this project, and Windows Universe made it as smooth a process as I could imagine.

Description of Work: I had 6 windows installed. The installers did a great job. there were no problems and they did an excellent job of cleaning up.

Description of Work: The good: Best price from four Angie's List company estimates, did the work when promised and cleaned up properly, came out for the estimate on day promised. The bad: They broke a portion of a base on a statue and did not compensate. I had back and forth with the owner and sent pictures as requested, but he never responded back, and I sent two follow up requests that were ignored. Perhaps worse was the estimator Ted Twarty. He came at night. Gave the estimate and we signed up that night. We realized we had a similar problem with water getting into another same-sized window and Ted quoted an additional $500 to fix that one. Great, but no one came out to measure and when I asked him how they were going to handle the half rounds on top of the windows, he said he didn't notice them because it was dark! After sending a picture of the windows, he then said the second window would be an additional $1,475. What to me is one window is to them three windows, however I had told him that the other window was the same was what they were working on. So for those two reasons I downgraded them. |

Description of Work: We had used this company previously for replacement windows, and were so pleased, we called them again. The windows took a while to order, but we were given an estimated time, and they met it. Installation was done in one day.

Description of Work: Completed job was very good. The contractors who installed the new door and vinyl trim were outstanding. However, the communication with the office was horrible. The job took 4 months to complete. The contract stated 90 days (3months) to complete. The status updates on the job were horrible. I would have given them a lower grade but because the installers are so good and professional I had to give them the credit they deserved. I will not use this company again because it was too stressful working with the front office and the job took too long to complete. I will look for another company for future siding jobs.

Description of Work: I had 7 windows replaced. The house we bought had single pane windows and we went with double pane, grid, half screen windows. The experience from start to finish was stellar. The salesman, Nate Singleton, was professional, patience and funny. The day of installation the crew arrived on time, moved efficiently and swiftly throughout the house. They even finished 2 hrs ahead of schedule!

Description of Work: OUTSTANDING SERVICE! This was my second window job with Window Universe. I originally selected this company based on the reviews found on Angie's List. I had a new front door, sliding door and kitchen window installed. The installation crew was led by Alfredo. Work was completed on time with minimal disruption. Next I had 13 new windows installed. Again Alfredo and his crew did an outstanding job. My dealings with the office staff showed them to be just as efficient and professional. I strongly recommend Window Universe to anyone who needs new doors or windows.

Description of Work: We have 20 years old windows in a townhouse. We setup an appointment with windows universe. Ted was on time and very professorial. He was very clear and honest in providing information about the windows and work. I have dealt with other windows companies who were very expensive and tried marketing pitches. I decided to go with windows universe and waiting for the windows to be installed.

Description of Work: I contacted 2 other window companies for estimates, but Window Universe was the only company who returned my call. On 17 September Jason Van Valin came out to my house and gave me an estimate to replace one sliding glass door, one front door with 2 side glass panels and one over the sink kitchen window. He was very professional and helpful in selecting styles and colors. Four weeks later everything was installed. One of the installers (3 arrived) named Alfredo was a "hero" in that the trim for the front door was not the color I had ordered. Alfredo went back to the wharehouse and brought another trim color (which he suggested vice the color I had selected) to be installed. Alfredo was extremely helpful and professional. I am considering replacing all my townhouse windows and intend to call Window Universe for estimates. I highly recommend this company!!!!

Description of Work: AJ came out on April 16th. The estimate was for 1 entry door to the basement, re screening and caulking 8 windows, 3 new windows in the basement, 2 existing windows capping. He gave me the estimate the same day and it was itemized.

Description of Work: After getting several different price quotes. I decided to go with Window's Universe. The price quote I received was 60% less then Long Fence and Prince William Home Improvement. I am very satisfied with there overall service.
