Got good advice. Use lower wattage bulbs in basement (so far, so good) and change fixture in kitchen, which is just old (25 years).

We had an active leak from a copper pipe and they came quickly and remedied the leak. I was pleased to know that they also did drywall work so that the areas damaged could be taken care by the same company. The quality of their work is good, however, when they quoted me a price for drywall work, I expected that they would include baseboard trim to finish the job. They left the job unfinished in my opinion with no trim. I contacted them to see if they could come back to finish the job and never heard back from them. So now I have to find another contractor to come and install approx. 6 linear feet of baseboard... I am not sure if I would hire them again.

Very well. All was fixed except doorbell and within time frame (4 hours) requested. This did include about a one hour trip to Home Depot . I was able to apply a first 3 hour coupon for $199 and 4th hour $99 plus supplies

I would not recommend this company. They were hired for two jobs, which were initially supposed to be completed on one day but one of their employees couldn't make it so they had to come back on a second day a week or so later to complete the work. On both days they performed work, the workmen did not have the necessary tools/parts to complete the work, which lengthened the time it took to complete the projects. They didn't quote prices for the projects, but I had called at least four other services so I had an idea of how much the work should cost. The other companies either didn't call me back or never managed to schedule a time to come out if they did bother to call, which I assume was due to the small nature of the projects. As a result, the responsive company, My Hunny Do, got the job. Unfortunately, My Hunny Do charged at least twice as much as the other handyman services that I had called which was an unpleasant surprise at the end of the work. Adding insult to injury, after charging twice as much as the other companies I had called for the sink installation, the sink was not even installed properly and started to leak soon after they had completed the project. To their credit, they came out fairly quickly after I alerted them to the problem and repaired the sink. I have not had a problem with it leaking since they came out the second time. The final problem was the unprofessional manner in which the lead handyman acted while in my home. I am a single woman, which he apparently took as license to flirt. It is possible that he mistook kindness for something else since I tend to offer water and snacks to anyone coming to do work. I had no problems on the first visit, but on the second visit, he mentioned a few times how pretty I am and that I look good with my hair down. It made me very uncomfortable, which is not how I should feel in my own home. In case there is any doubt, gentlemen, friendliness/willingness to chat and/or offer of food/beverage does not mean a lady is looking for a date.

Great! I called the # listed here on Angie's List and left a msg. Then I also did some digging online and found another # for My Hunny Do and reached John. Both numbers connected to him, but it turns out that Angie's List masks/blocks the company's # here on this website - not sure why, and neither did John, so he asked that I notify Angie's List about that, which I did. Angie's List responded to say they are looking into the issue. I then emailed John the list of items I needed serviced/repaired and requested service within the next few days. He texted me over the weekend to confirm the service appointment for 10/9/17 between 8-9am. Joel arrived on time and we walked through the house to review the list of items that John had passed along to him. After a quick trip to Home Depot to get a few items, he got to work and successfully completed everything within 2-2.5 hours. I am very happy with the work performed and would definitely hire them again. I also was able to use the 10% Angie's List discount, so the original estimate of $750 resulted in a final cost of $675.

They were terrific. I called them first thing in the morning on a Saturday when we had a serious water leak. Wayne came out within a few hours and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Appreciate the prompt and effective service on a weekend.

We've always been pleased with their work and responsiveness. We are very happy with the bathroom remodel that they did for us this year. It included tiling of the floor and three walls, installation of new fixtures and a new shower. 7 months later and everything still looks and functions great. Will definitely hire again.

Ended up getting a refund for the deal and using another service.

They did great work and cleaned up after themselves. It was easy to arrange and pay for.

I am always very appreciative of responsiveness and Walter gets an A+ for that-- he texted me several times to let me know the status of parts and was right on time to fix it. He fixed the leaking shower after needing to go to a particular plumber's warehouse for the part. I would definitely call on him in the future. it seemed a little pricey but he assured me other companies would have charged much more and in the end, it was worth it, plus he gave me a 10% discount.

Did a great job -- was able to fix problem cheaply and a couple months later it is still working great.

It worked out fine. I would say it was satisfactory. It was okay. It was just run of the mill average work. He came in and did it. It was done, it was fine. I had no complaints There is not a particular thing to like or dislike. He just did what I asked him to do. It was what is was.

For the life of me I can't remember the guy's name that came here to replace our sump pump. But he was excellent. He came on time, was very knowledgeable and when my husband asked him if he can while he was here fix a water shut off valve, he gave us a reasonable price and fix it on the spot. It was great!!! We will definitely use these guys again!!!

Took 2 visits but fixed the problem. Appreciate the fact they were willing to come back and make it right. No hassle, no additional cost.

Great! Walter and an assistant installed the 3 toilets quickly and without making a huge mess. I negotiated haul-away as part of the job (they took the old toilets, but I recycled the boxes). I received a small bulk discount. One was a little crooked to the wall, but Walter fixed it quickly when I pointed it out. Another rocked slightly, which I didn't realize until after they left), but Walter came out ASAP to fix it, and it only took a few minutes. I was very satisfied with the service and pricing!

The quality of work, expertise and responsiveness were outstanding, although it was a little pricey. Walter was professional and very skilled. During his initial visit, he immediately repaired a plumbing leak and put that bathroom back into service. I was impressed so I added 3 other tasks (2 plumbing fixes and one wood floor repair) to his follow-on visit to repair the damaged drywall. We were very pleased with his work and the good outcomes. We'll use My Hunny Do again!

Quick response, wasn't an emergency and had a guy here in a day. Fixed the pipe in two places and replaced the sheet rock. My only complaint is that afterwards I found a few nails in my driveway. I hope I didn't get one in a tire.

Well. When there was a leak the technician came back promptly and finished the job.

We are a repeat customer of My Hunny Do. The outlets & lights were fixed. The technician was an hour and a half past the time window, but was courteous and called to let us know he was running late as he got stuck on the previous job. Pricing was high, but the work was done well. Currently contacting John as it doesn't appear that the Angies List 10% discount was applied on the bill. Will use vendor again due to quality work done. Only hang up is the tech asked for cash or check. Per the Angies list listing credit cards are accepted.. This left us cash short for the month.

I purchased the "Big Deal" from Angie's list and never could "connect" with the company to schedule services. After several false starts, I had to request a refund. After I'd already requested the refund, they contacted me too, but I wasn't willing to re-start the process. I don't necessarily think they're a bad company. They may have just been overwhelmed.

This is the third time I've used these folks for plumbing issues, and they've always been very responsive. Their pricing is very reasonable. The previous issue involved snaking my kitchen pipe because it was backed up. The regular snake didn't solve the problem, so Joel brought in the heavy duty one, which did the trick. This time, I thought I had a leak in the pipe to my outside faucet, but after Joel looked at everything, he determined that the leak wasn't inside the house, but at the faucet outside, and water was finding it's way inside through the window well. My FIOS box and circuit breakers are on the wall where the water was coming in. Although I still had power, I had no Internet connection, and Joel helped me reset the FIOS box, so YAY - I didn't have to deal with Verizon!. I highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

The price was high and the work was okay functionally, but they didn't cleanup. It was marginally acceptable. I don't think I got credit for the purchase. I think they inflated the price. They came out within two or three days after the deal was purchased. There were additional charges. I paid $119 and then, there was an additional $600 or something like that. I had already removed the overhead materials. All they had to do was slide them out and then replace that line. It was a little bit involved. They gave us a price in addition to the $119 and then, they even bumped that up later in the day. They gouged us. They left some torn up stuff and lefta mess.
