Our first experience with Mixing Bowl Contracting...and it won't be our last! First rate customer service and quality from start to finish. Called John on a Friday afternoon. He immediately worked to schedule installation of our two new fans for the following Tuesday as requested. Damian arrived exactly on time and installed both fans within 2 hours. Professional, courteous, and attentive to detail. He is an excellent electrician! We have a leaky water line and will definitely hire Mixing Bowl Contracting to repair it.

I said this before, but I'll say it again. Mixing Bowl is our "first call" for an all-purpose contractor. This was our second experience with Mixing Bowl. We had new shower valves and controls installed. Joel is a master plumber--he installed all new shower hardware and repaired a pin-hole leak in less than 4 hours. Superior workmanship, consummate professionalism and unmatched customer service.

My shower faucet handle broke and was spewing water non-stop. We had to turn off the water main so didn't have running water. Mixing Bowl Contracting was wonderful! I was able to get John on the phone first thing on Saturday morning. He was very attentive and helpful, texting and calling me several times to try to find a time slot for me that same day. He asked that I text him pictures to be sure his plumber had the right parts. The plumber came within 3 hours, which was earlier than promised, and worked diligently for 4-5 hours straight. The plumber was very courteous and professional. So glad I found these guys and they were able to give us such prompt and thorough service on a non-weekday. Other plumbers I called couldn't fit us in until Monday or later the next week. Notwithstanding the weekend work, I thought their rates were extremely reasonable. Would definitely recommend them and use them again. John seems like a very upstanding guy who cares for his workers.

now these are the reviews I love to write. Time and time and time again, mixing bowl never fails to disappoint. Walter came on time, got right to business. I learned how to replace the switch by myself in the future. This time I just needed the electrical education. Took only about 15 minutes to replace the dimmer light switch and fan switch. Angies List members when you are looking for electrical work, call the the mixing bowl! Thanks again!

The plumber was fast and efficient. He tuned up two running toilets in about five minutes and repaired a third in about ten minutes, all for a better price than I could find elsewhere. I'll call Mixing Bowl again for future plumbing issues.

It went very well. We needed to repaint a room after a leak and decided to have all the bedrooms repainted during the time we just had a bathroom remodeled.

John and the rest of the team are wonderful. We've had them in to fix everything from plumbing to our HVAC to doing other handyman stuff around our home (painting, replacing light fixtures, hanging art, etc.). It's fantastic to be able to reach out to a team that has high-quality work, and is licensed for many different types of work so I don't have to keep track of four different companies to keep our house in great shape.

Jobs were executed professionally and efficiently. No problems, John reaspomddd and fillers up via phone to give estimate and set appt. when Walther arrived he diagnosed and presented the solutions quickly and get the work done in shortest ambit of time. John followed up to make sure all was done and when Walther had to leave John came back to check the work and fix a leaky valve afterwards without problem. Would use Walther again he is an excellent plumber. We have had no issues since.

The plumber that showed up was very nice, on time, determined the issue with in seconds...probably wasn't with me for 5 minutes total! Which brings me to my issue...I've called plumbing services in the past (along with the similar trades) and they usually will try to get you to do the simple things first to see if they even need to come out...had they done that they wouldn't have had to send some one out and charge me a service fee to simply run the water so that my P trap wasn't dried out... Sorta gouging situation to charge for that when a little phone advice would have gone a long way as a kind gesture and would have produced word of mouth positive review and feedback along with notes here. Its also a little strange to hire Mixing Bowl Contracting but write a check to "Honey Do List"

We've used My Hunny Do many times over the years and have always had good experiences. The most recent time was when we had a gas leak under the deck, which required that a section of deck be ripped up so the leak could be repaired, then reinstalled. This occurred over a weekend, and we were without gas heat until the repair was done. John of My Hunny Do responded immediately and worked on the job Sunday, which we really appreciated! The work was very professional with some extra touches in the reinstallation, and cleanup was excellent. They have also done roofing, painting, water heater installation, and carpentry for us, and we've been pleased with the work! Would definitely give them a good recommendation!

He found the necessary part and fixed it the very next day. He kept me in the loop and got the job done quickly. As someone with a rental property, I’ve been very happy with the service I’ve received.

Great! John was very responsive to our needs. Walter is also great. We were under a time crunch to get things fixed in order to meet our home inspection deadline. He provided services and detailed invoice to meet our needs. He even came back out to fix something for us the day we were packing up! Thank you Hunny Do!!

I explained the work to be done, and he said they didn't do this type of work. He didn't explain why, but I got the impression he just didn't want to do it. Unprofessional to say the least. Don't advertise yourself as a handyman if you're not willing to do the work!

I would have gotten a much better deal calling a plumber from the yellow pages. $75 got me someone that came to my house to tell me I had a leak. Then they wanted $200 on top of that to replace a washer in a faucet. This is what I get for being too lazy to do it myself :(

Our overall experience with John and Walter was great! I made a phone call and spoke to John midday on Thursday about a leak in our living room ceiling. Two years ago we had the same problem and had someone come out to "fix" it and while it seemed to be fixed, here we are a week ago looking at the ring on our ceiling. John and Walter came to our house Friday morning and we had work started on Tuesday (do to holiday and plans). The tub fixtures didn't sit flush with the tile and had cracks that water could get in to. Those fixtures were replaced and sit where they are supposed to. There was tile matched and added below the existing tile and above the bathtub that turned out fantastic. The tub is old and we had it glazed and it looks like a brand new tub. The overall experience was great and we will definitely be calling them again for future jobs needed.

At first all went well with the company and most of the little jobs were done rather quickly and done well. The company did a good job installing new floors, however, where the floors meet the steps, I have a strip of blue carpeting and then the rest is pink. No one mentioned before the installation that would happen, and they made me feel I was out of place when I complained. Also, one of the workers started to fix my garden stars and NEVER completed the job. I still have two giant pieces of lumber in my carport that I can't move and have no idea what to do with.

They are excellent. Very professional and they respond right away. I would highly recommend them.

The work was excellent but it was hard to keep up with the small schedule changes they were asking for because I was busy at the time.

Only complaints the furnace was louder than when he did the tune up and never got a final invoice as promised it would be emailed to me.

Walter came out on a Sunday and helped install a new kitchen faucet. He was kind enough to come out on a Sunday. I did purchase a new kitchen faucet that was $299.00 which was a bit expensive. We could not get the sensor to work, but I’m still working with Moen to figure that out. Walter was a right on Time, worked hard.
