They were delayed at a prior job. They were very efficient and very knowledgeable about the diverse, small projects that I had.

Walter Mendoza came at scheduled time, checked the roof, took pictures, explained what needs to be done and promptly replaced missing roof tiles.

I called for an estimate and explained the work that I needed done. The guy on the phone's first question was "Are you looking for the cheapest service - b/c we are not the cheapest." He went on to explain that they can no longer come out for free estimates and waste their time if I wasn't interested. I told them I couldn't say whether I was interested or not until knowing how they were going to do the work adn how much it would cost. He asked if I could take pictures and send to him via phone. I did and sent him 4 pictures and reexplained the work I wanted done. I got a response text saying they would get back to me and then HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. He was borderline rude on the phone and clearly knows nothing about professionalism. I would stay clear of them.

I left a message with Hunny Do Handman requesting an estimate for the work I needed done, and they responded to my call within two hours. The gentleman on the phone was professional and courteous, and he gave a rough estimate over the phone, contingent upon actually inspecting the damage on my house. We also set up an appointment for the next day, which was promptly kept. The work was done the same day, the quality of which was outstanding. Like the man on the phone, the workmen were very courteous. The work was clean, and executed very professionaly. Start to finish, my experience dealing with this company was positive. I would absolutely recommend Hunny Do to anyone needing handyman services.

I called and left a message asking for information and left my number for them to return call. I got an abrupt return call, "Did you call this number, who is this?" I told them I had called for service in the area--I was hung up on. I would not waste anyone else's time with this vendor.

The work needed to be completed while he was out of town. Walter came and worked neatly and quickly and got the job done perfectly. Very nice and polite. Gave me a better deal than I had anticipated

We got an estimate but decided to go with another company to install the shelves.

I called and John came over later that same day. He seemed knowledgeable about how to do the things that I had on my to do list. The quote seemed high so we got a few more quotes. We ended up going with someone that did the work well and for a bit less. My Hunny Do Handyman seems like a reputable company and we would consider them if we had future needs if the price was in our budget.

Walter and his crew are fantastic. Walter came by to give me an estimate on the work I wanted to have done and figure out what materials he would need to get. He and his crew always arrive when they say they will. They do the work efficiently and expertly. By far the BEST drywall patch repair ever!

I called My Hunny Do Handyman on Tuesday to get an estimate for a small list of household projects. John called me back immediately and indicated that they had a job in Fairfax get postponed so his crew was available today. He arrived as discussed between 8:00-9:00am to look at the list and give me an estimate. In the end I was able to cross multiple things off my to do list by having his crew at my house for the day. They were very professional, took care to protect floors/shoes, & cleaned up afterwards. I was able to have an outlet installed outside (no more Christmas light cord through the window), two bathroom light fixtures replaced, two bathrooms painted, two light fixtures repaired, wall shelves hung in several rooms, the brick on my fireplace repainted and the biggest project - installing a barrier to stop my kittens from getting caught in the dropped ceiling. Yup - you read that right (it's happened more than once) now the ceiling on the unfinished side of my basement looks like I am ready for the Zombie apocolypse - but I doubt the kitten is getting up there again! John & Walter were very friendly and everyone was easy to work with. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and will use again the next time my household to-do list grows to long to manage on my own!

On short notice, John & Walter came over and carted the 300-pound booth inside on the day it was delivered to my front yard. They came back the next day to install it. They involved me in the decision-making process of how I wanted it installed, and they impressed me by actually reading the lengthy installation instructions that the booth manufacturer had sent. They took the time to do a nice professional job on the installation, and it looks just beautiful.

I have used this service twice and have been very happy both times. They are very responsive and have even come out on Saturday. Walter has helped us on both visits, and is very professional. We will use this service again.

The contractor replied quickly and offered additional detail as requested. The price was a little higher than I preferred, so I have held off on the project for now.

Heavy rain from super storm Sandy resulted in a water leak from the top of the bay window in the middle level of the back of my townhouse and related water issues in the lower level. My Hunny Do Handyman was very responsive and came out and repaired the bay window flashing and sealed the other causes of the problem first thing the day after I called them. Other contractors were not available until later in the week. Based on their initial work, I had them come back to do additional work including painting the exterior of the house. The additional work was done on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate my work schedule. The quality of the work performed was excellent. Walter and his crew did a great job especially repairing the dry wall. The entire staff was professional and well mannered. While not cheap, the price seemed very reasonable for the level of work performed. Except for a couple small black stains, tracked in from the sealant on the exterior, on a kitchen area rug, they did a very good job cleaning up the work sites. Overall, they did an excellent job. There was a little confusion over getting the estimate before scheduling the work and recording payment information but those were quickly worked out. I would definitely consider using My Hunny Do Handyman for handy man jobs and even larger projects in the future.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. After contacting tile companies to re-do our shower tile surround, and being told it would take a month to just get an estimate, I decided to call My Hunny Do Handyman. John was able to come by to look at the shower the same day, and work was scheduled for the following week. The work crew arrived on-time, and kept our bathroom remarkably clean for a messy demo and tiling job. The work was awesome, with installation of wall tiles and decorative glass tiles all included in the quoted price. Factoring in materials, this was a complete re-do for about $1000, you really can't beat that. The tile companies are charging more than double for this work, and having the job done in under a week is remarkable. Perhaps most importantly, John returned upon completion of the work to ensure everything went well. Great company to work with, and with their diversified listing of services, we'll certainly use them again.

John was able to come over to provide me an estimate the same day I called. He gave me a few options for painting, with the prices included, as well as recommendations on whether the work needed to be done right away, or could wait until spring. He was very friendly and I did not feel pressured into any one decision. Understanding my need for a quick turnaround, he was able to schedule the work within a few days. The person doing the work was prompt and pleasant. Once the work was done, he took pictures while he was on the roof, not only to show me that it was done, but so that I could send them to my HOA as proof the work was completed. Overall, I was very satisfied and would use them again.

I was extremely satisfied with them. They were excellent and I have recommended them to others. They were responsive, on time, professional, and did a nice clean job.

I contacted by phone on Saturday and John came out and gave me an estimate on Sunday. I checked with other firms and their cost was about in the middle to high side, but John promised a complete job until satisfied. He worked around our schedule and had a crew out early Tuesday morning to remove an old wrought iron stair railing and replace with wooden one. The work was quickly done and looks great. I would definitely use them again.

The job went very well and we plan to use Hunny Do Handyman again!

My Hunny Do worked around a wide range of issues in a professional and accommodating manner. I had to fire a previous contractor off the job which tossed a monkey wrench into my schedule. Walter, John, and their crew performed exceptionally! I tried accomplishing a number of tasks on my own but ran out of time. I had the handymen re-do some of my failed attempts at drywall. I also added jobs while I had them there. I never heard the word "no" and Walter and his staff were extremely flexible. We have encountered some small cosmetic issues since they completed the job (one area of the countertop needs to be shimmed for leveling, one toilet continues to run after flushing, and we have had some paint peeling). I have contacted Walter and received a call and an email within a few hours explaining that they would come back and rectify everything on a day of my choosing. In all fairness, I have been overcome by events this week and have not had the opportunity to get them back over. Once things settle down I am completely confident that all of my concerns will be addressed professionally and punctually. The only downside is the price...these guys are not cheap...but they perform QUALITY work. It's like the saying goes....you get what you pay for. In this case, I paid for--and received--a group of true professional craftsmen. My wife has already recommended them to a colleague. I will be using them for some more jobs in the near future.

I found this company on Angie's List and have used them 3 or 4 times. They are really clean, prompt and deliver great value. They are really talented and do everything with excellence. This company is really great to work with and is very responsive. I have used them for several different jobs ranging from plumbing to shelf hanging. They also have done minor repairs and worked on lighting; they are really good. Sometimes it takes them a little while to answer emails.

The price was quoted for "two men for a full day" but it really only took them half a day, so in that sense the price seemed a bit high. On the other hand, when we compared buying the awning plus paying separately for installation vs. buying an awning with installation included, the price came out about the same. The workers arrived on schedule and were very professional. All trash etc was cleaned up, and they even installed an outdoor outlet-cover on another electrical outlet on the patio. We were very satisfied with the job.
