Walter and his crew were great. They were easy to schedule. I kept adding on new projects, and they were very accommodating. Everything looks great. I'll use them again.

Arrived promptly and performed work well.

Would not recommend. Estimated date of completion mid to late April.

The inspection was very thorough and ended up replacing some older outlets.

ude John promptly came out for the estimate. He submitted it within a couple of days, calling to let me know it was coming. There was a small delay after that due to illness, but he quickly made up for this. We had him update the estimate after I provided some additional detail. Work was started on time and his crew quickly made the needed repairs. The crew did their work without getting in the way of our operation and cleaned up after the job was finished. We discovered in the middle of the job that a wall being removed, was actually load bearing, so he adjusted the estimate to include framing needed to support the new configuration. All the prices were fair and his original estimate was one of the lower ones we received. The work was so good that we have asked them to do some additional work for us at another location.

As part of a kitchen overhaul due to a small flood, we needed a new dishwasher. We ordered one online from a large home improvement chain and discovered when they delivered the dishwasher that they did not also install it. :( That may have been something we should've known, but we didn't. After a long, stressful conversation with the aforementioned large home improvement chain, there was no help in sight. It was a Friday afternoon and they couldn't help us with installation until Tuesday. After being without a dishwasher for 6+ weeks, I couldn't take it anymore and started searching Angie's List for handymen who could install the dishwasher for us. Luckily we found My Hunny Do! They were so helpful and responsive. They installed our new dishwasher that afternoon and worked to help us get the best price possible. We will definitely be calling them again!

Over the phone, I described the work to John who answered the phone. He quoted me $350 for the work. He requested that I send him a photo for further steps to see if he could complete the work. I feel like the following email correspondence tells the story accurately. I am quite appalled at the correspondence that followed. When I explained the work in my email with the photo, and wrote "Is this something you would be willing to take a look at? I am also open to other ideas. Please let me know what other questions you have. Thank you for your assistance," he responded "Hi Christina Where do you live? I think it would be best if I stopped by and have a look.when could I come?" I wrote back: "Hi John, My address is XXX. The earlier the better for me. Would this be a free estimate? Thank you" I found it odd that he didn't quote me a price and asked to meet with me before discussing a price, which is why I inquired about the free estimate. I then received the following response which is rude and unnecessary. If he didn't want to work with me, just say that. Or say they don't do free estimates. Or just state how much this kind of job would cost. There is no reason for this kind of email making unnecessary assumptions and accustations. "Honestly the fact that you ask if its a free estimate tells me that you don't intend to spend very much to do this and we are in business to be profitable. We would probably not be a good fit for you. I suspect that we would charge around $750 to do the work you want done. Is that in your price range? John Scaniffe" If he is in the business to be profitable, perhaps he should be polite to potential customers and not make rude assumptions. I was fully willing to spend money on a job well done. Someone else will profiting now. Very upsetting.

They seem like nice people, they just have too much business.

My Hunny Do does outstanding work: They were punctual, professional, responsive and kept things clean...I can't say enough about the level of service. They were also very competent and they have a broad level of skills and certifications. The only small issue I had was with the pricing...the estimate was for a technician and a helper for 4 hours, and when the job only took 2.5 hours, there was no reduction in the price quoted. In retrospect I should've clarified to see if I was paying for the job or by the hour, but it didn't occur to me until later--my bad. In any case, i would definitely recommend them, and I would use them again.

It was an excellent experience. They squeezed us in during a busy holiday season and the entire team was punctual, polite, professional, and tidy. The quote was accurate and they finished the work in the time they stated with little disruption to our daily lives.

They arrived just a little late, but was very happy they gave us a 1/2 hour window. They gave our toilet and bathroom sink a full service.

They arrived a little late, but went right to work. All the work was completed by 2 people in a little over an hour. They were extremely professional and did excellent work. I then talked to them about all the other services they provide. I had purchased a coupon and even though I added additional work to my original order, they only charged me an additional $25. I purchased the coupon without realizing that I lived outside their service area. They still honored it and came out to see me. They said they would come for other projects as well. This was my first experience with Angie's List and it was excellent.

Arrived on time. Extremely courteous and thoughtful. Carpet had recently been steam cleaned. In order to keep it clean and pristine they took off their shoes without being asked. Worked quickly and efficiently. Cleaned up after they finished.

When I called they said, "We don't service the county that I live in." I asked why they didn't spell this out in their ad?" He said, "We can't list every area we cover." I was referred to his partner. I spoke to the partner and he said, "It would be $1,200 for four fours." I felt they should first list what areas they do service. The other part that was disconcerting to me was they tripled their normal rates because I wasn't in their area.

Walter picked the door up at Home Depot and delivered it for installation. Adjustments/creative engineering were required due to home door frame slightly out of square. They stuck with it and made sure it was a perfect fit. Made all adjustments. Cleaned up their work site, too. Definitely utilize their services again.

PERFECT. I wish I would have known about them before I moved out of the area.

We live out of state and and do our own property management. Sometimes finding someone to count on from a distance can be a challenge. This company came through well and provided service for our home in a timely and cost effective manner. I'm very appreciative, and plan to use their handyman services again when needed repairs come up again at our property.

Initially I got bounced between the two partners, but once I got in touch with one of them I was very very happy. They came and replaced the old wooden shutters on our townhouse. Not a big job, but certainly quick and easy. We have a ton more projects we would love to hire them for in the future - and I will be sure to update my review then!

My Hunny Do was very effective and efficient. They took care of a variety of odds and ends at my house, including fixing some water damage on a ceiling and regrouting a shower. They also took care of some drywall and painting work at a rental apartment we have, as well as changing locks etc. Their work is A grade and quality work, and their service was great too. Only thing is that you are paying for what you get, these guys feel a bit expensive, hence the B grade overall. Still, all in all, a good experience

I used My Hunny Do for some Home Inspection repairs for a listing we had. They came out to the house and answered all my questions and gave us the best and correct course of action. I would recommend them.

I had a leak in my main water line. I first called Hunny Do after my home warranty company explained that it didn't cover the access issue that I had for the plumber to repair the leak. WIthin an hour or so of calling them, the owner of the business came out and took care of it. Impressed with their responsiveness, I asked them if they could help repair the damaged drywall and painting after the leak was repaired. (My home warranty only covered a rough patch repair.) The afternoon after the leak was repaired, I got an estimate and detailed overview of the work that needed to be done. Hunny Do did a great job on the drywall repair, painting and even re-installing my pantry. It looks like the leak never happened.

The only think I didn't like about My Hunny Do is the silly name! Phone calls were answered in person, pricing is clear and a la carte so you know what to expect and the principals are polite and professional. Work was done correctly and neatly.They are skilled and licensed at many trades. I'm going to call them again for installation of an electrical outlet and toilet replacement.

I called in the morning, and the owner came out within an hour to give an estimate. The work was completed by that same afternoon. The whole experience was great. Walter and the two men who did the repairs were polite, professional, and did quality work. The total time onsite for the two handymen was about 3 hours, plus about 1 hour for the owner. We've never hired a handyman before so I can't really compare cost, but I thought $700 for the work and supplies was very reasonable. We will definitely hire My Hunny Do Handyman again if needed.
