We are in the midst of having our kitchen updated. We are also just fixing up some of the deferred maintenance issue around the house. I've had no problems with them. They work they do is done well and on time. They are honest and anxious to give good value for what they do. If there is a problem, they communicate with you promptly letting you know what it is and if you act like an adult and work with them things will be resolved with a minimum of fuss. I am going to hire them again to do some of my other work.

They were super. John came out to evaluate the job. Hewas honest about the potential for uncovering more work during demo, but luckily that did not occur. His crew showed up on time, they worked from morning until the job was done around dinner time. John came to supervise. They did an excellent job, the porch looks amazing. They were hard workers, polite and good communicators. Would use them again for another job without hesitation.

I needed to deal with flood damage quickly before moving into a townhouse, and My Hunny Do came out the day after I called to give me an estimate and, as luck would have it, they had an opening 2 days later to do the work. John quoted me a flat price for the work and material they would provide. Two guys showed up on the designated day, and one got to work setting up while the other headed out for supplies. I went back to work, came back in the afternoon to check on progress; one of the guys' little dog was hanging out on my back patio, which was fine (he was cute and friendly), but kind of an odd surprise. John called me later to let me know the joint compound wasn't drying fast enough, so they needed to come back the next morning to finish -- a lucky bonus to picking the flat rate price. When all was done, I had two pretty good looking solid ceilings (the joints between the patches and the rest of the ceiling are noticeable if you look, but probably to be expected considering the hacksawed way the sections were removed by the flood people). Although they took precautions by hanging plastic sheeting and doing a quick vacuum afterward, I was a little disappointed how much drywall dust I had to clean up before we moved in, even in the farthest parts of my living room away from the kitchen, which stuck pretty good to the hardwood floor. In retrospect, the price seems on the high side for two man-days of semi-skilled labor (assuming the second guy was always around, which wasn't clear), but I needed it done fast and I got it. Random note in the professionalism category -- whenever I called, I always felt like I was interrupting and annoying whomever I got a hold of on their personal cell phone.

Owner provided a written estimate after visiting twice for six small jobs. Work was completed on time, but it was a little messy inside. When I asked the owner for a price difference as the quoted work was not completed per the written estimate for materials and the size of the jobs, he offered me a 2% discount.

I could not be happier with the work performed. John closely inspected the areas to be painted when developing an estimate, something others did not take the time to do. The work was performed two days later. They were there promptly in the a.m. and completed the job in one day. They were polite, thorough and neat. Fabulous job. I will definitely be using them again for other handyman jobs.

The worker was Excellent.. Never had a problem and if I did have a small problem, he would come back the next day and take care of the problem..

My Hunny Do was a class act all the way. They contacted me immediately and gave a fair estimate with 2 options. I chose to go with ??time and materials??, rather than a fixed price, since based on other reviews and my discussion with John, I felt that I could trust them to put in a good day?s work and finish the job as quickly as possible. John?s best guess was at least 2 days? work, with some work on day 3 likely. In the event, it required 3 full days because there was more rotten wood than was apparent. They did a LOT of work in 3 days. The crew that worked on our job seemed highly skilled and were very friendly and easy to communicate with. After they finished, there were 2 small issues that needed to be taken care of, and John and the crew immediately came back the next day and completed them to my full satisfaction.

I waited over one month to write this. I am still angry. The Hunny Do technicians were on time, polite, and neat. My renters are very pleased with their work. They replaced the broken items I asked them to repair. However, as the landlord, I am not pleased. I still do not know what products they installed. I did not receive an itemized statement of work. Their bills was "bedroom fan $175, bathroom fan $175, GFCI $175". What are the type of fans they installed? Their technician said all documentation on the items they installed was destroyed (boxes and manuals). I have no idea of what they installed. As the landlord, I want more information for historical documentation and taxes. In addition, they did not install the bedroom fan we had agreed on by email. I sent model/make and received a positive email from the technician that implied he was at the store to purchase the item I sent to him. After I discovered that the fan installed was not the fan we agreed would be installed, they offered to install the "agreed upon fan" for free if I bought the fan and had it delivered to the property. That is a very noble offer, but I do not think I will use them again. I think they tried to get over and were caught. Although they were punctual, polite, and neat, I feel they installed a cheaper product(s) in my house and charged premium prices.

We had a sticky situation with a leaky jacuzzi tub which we wanted replaced with a conventional corner tub. Walter's team was the most responsive and were competitive in pricing. Best of all, they said they could do the job the way we wanted it, and did not try to sell us on bad alternatives, like other contractors did. Hunny do are good craftsmen, and finished the job on time, and worked with us to schedule the job within a reasonable timeframr. Walter even inspected the first tub we ordered and found a crack, leading to us ordering a second tub and returning the first. Best of all, Hunny Do does everything - plumbers, caprenters, electric - so you don't have to run around and find 4 different companies to do one job. Highly recommend.

They were very responsive to e-mail and responsive to a quote. The quote was very high. They were initially very expensive and their quote was kind of out of bounds with what we have been quoted by other companies. The experience of getting the quote was good but the quote itself was not good. The customer service was good but the quote was very high.

I met with Walter several weeks ago and he looked at my building plan. I explained to him i had to get the building permit and HOA approval before we could start building the deck. He was very flexible in scheduling my build to accommodate those processes. Once I had all of the approvals he worked out a pretty quick timeline to get the guys on site to start working. I had the materials delivered and his team showed up to start putting in the holes so they could be inspected. The building inspectors that came by had no questions and were quick to give approvals. The project went great and the deck is better than i hoped for. The team working on the deck were meticulous in measuring, checking level, and other key things you see with true craftsmen. After looking at the workmanship and quality of my deck two of my neighbors have already asked for My Hunny Do's contact information. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The project was done as contracted. The quality was good, but what made the overall quality a "B" was two things. 1) When they made the cut in the wall to add the switch, they cut too much and even after putting the switch cover, you still see the hole, so I need to fill it up. They told me that if I update the cover to the modern cover, it would cover the hole, but unfortunately it didn't. 2) They forgot to add one of the outlets so we called them up to add it. They came, but they tried to use the 14 gauge for the outlet when they are supposed to use 12 gauge. My dad was there and he caught them trying to cut corners. We use that outlet to plug the microwave and using 14 gauge might cause issues. One thing I wasn't happy is that they never call back when they say they will.

I had a great experience with them. They did everything on time. I would tell other people to use the same person who came out to do the job. The guy was great. He was always there. I think their price was reasonable and the quality was there. I would use them again in the future.

The plumber did an excellent job installing the sink. I was told the price above and beyond the discount price ahead of time. After the plumber arrived, the plumber indicated to me that since he had to adjust the drain about an half inch, it would cost me more. I indicated that this should have been included in the price of installing the sink. The plumber was approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hour late for the appointment. The $170 was the amount above the amount paid for the coupon.

Was in a jam, left a message early Thursday morning to see if work could be done Friday morning. Called me back within five minutes, understood the urgency (for health reasons, truly did need the A/C unit installed) and agreed to come Friday morning before I had to leave for a doctor's appointment. The owner, Walter, called at 9:30 and told me the worker was on his way. He arrived 20 minutes later and immediately got to work. Very nice, responsible young man. Obviously knew what he was doing but still took the time to read through the instruction booklet which I appreciated. He was very exact, even though it only had to be adjusted 1/4" of an inch, he wanted perfection. He was done in 40 minutes, left no mess, told me if I have any problems to let them know and they'll take care of. This window A/C unit is the BEST I've ever had installed. We've had heavy rains and there is no leakage. There is absolutely no vibration. Unit was perfectly installed. My Hunny Do is an excellent, professional operation.

I purchased 2 hours of plumbing services for $119. Provider was able to schedule to come over to provide estimate on my next day off. I explained what i needed done and they explained what they needed to do in order to meet the request and the time it would take and the additional cost - they had to cut wall in order to replace front outdoor faucet and washer faucets. We agreed on the work they would do and the total cost. They were then able to schedule the service day on my next day off. Plumber arrived and brought paper shoe covers, very considerate of keeping my home clean. He did not have to turn off main water, was at my home most of the business day, did the agreed upon work and where he had to cut the drywall in the front entry area in order to access the front outdoor faucet looks great! Also, the drywall that had to be cut in order to replace he leaking washer faucets looks great! Estimate was $950 for all the work, minus $200 that I paid $119 for!

The tow men arrived on time and were very polite. We had discussion about prevention and future usuage. I was given a business card and they thanked me for my business.

I contacted My Hunny Do through email almost a month ago. I received an immediate call-back and stated what items I needed taken care of. The individual came to the house the same day to review what work was to be done. Since then, I have not received any response from them or a quote, even after following-up with them twice. I will not use them.

I did not use this company. They did not service my area.

it was great, they did a wonderful job. They took everything apart, realized there was an issue and corrected it even though all I was asking for was a replacement of my old fixture to a new one. With the fix, the new fixture was able to work as it was intended. i would use this company again (which I already have twice!) as they are honest, dependable and do great work.
