The Gentleman Plumber

Perfect. Could not have been better. My appointment was for 8-10AM. Cesar showed up at 8:15AM. He went to the bathroom to take a look. He then got to work. He uninstalled the old toilet and then installed the new one. He was extremely nice and thorough. Couldn't be happier with Cesar. This is my third experience with the Gentleman Plumber, and I have recommended them to several friends. Will work with them again.

Cesar and his helper were awesome. Cesar was on time, polite, professional, and he took the time to explain what he was doing based on fix. Cesar was great. He worked quietly and cleaned up after himself. I can not say enough good things about this experience. Fantastic ! I would absolutely call the Gentleman plumber again.

Very prompt, installed new toilet, new shower valve, trim and spout. Prepped sink plumbing for vanity (reworking copper supply lines). On return visit, installed new sink valves, faucet and drain, new drain plumbing. Very pleased with on time arrival, quality work and reasonable cost. Would recommend.

I had an Angie's List $100 deal to replace a toilet in our rental property. Customer service was excellent. Within 10 minutes of placing the order through Angie's List, I received an email to confirm and schedule our preferred appointment. As requested, on the day of the appointment, the plumber called 10 minutes before his arrival time. Cesar was professional, friendly, and cleaned up after the job. He also replaced the toilet water line for an additional $12. Based on this service, I would recommend The Gentleman Plumber.

I purchased a deal for a $100 toilet installation. They got a hold of me, the gentleman came, removed the existing toilet carefully. Unfortunately for me it turned out the new toilet I bought had a crack. I asked if he could hang out while I go to the home depot down the street to get another one. He said he'd have to charge me $150 for him to wait for me to come back. So I had him just put back the old toilet and I managed to install the new one myself later. I'd recommend them.

The plumber called and came early. Worked hard and did a great job.

Cesar Maradiaga, from The Gentleman Plumber, called in advance to advise he was on the way. He arrived shortly thereafter, collected his tools and came to the door. He introduced himself and we proceeded to the kitchen where I had the new faucet in it's box. we talked a few minutes as I explained why I wanted the old faucet replaced rather than repaired. He was in agreement and went to work immediately. First action was to spread a tarp on the floor, then got into the cabinet under the sink with a small bucket to catch any leakage, shut off the water supply and began his work. A short time later, I had a new shiny single handle pull-out sprayer kitchen faucet in chrome fully installed. Cesar proceeded to explain and demonstrate how the faucet worked. He cleaned up everything, took tools, tarp and old faucet to his truck, then came back with the paper-work. In all, it took slightly less than one hour. I am completely pleased with Cesar's work and pleasant personality. I will definitely consider The Gentleman Plumber for any future plumbing needs.

Service was as expected. Prompt service and punctual. I did find it odd that he put on plastic booties when he first came in, but had to go to his van to get some supplies, and then didn't put his booties back on.

The stated work was done over two visits. Kim helped arrange for a master plumber to review a list of projects we emailed over along with some photos of problem areas from our home inspection. Communication was clear and responses prompt, and we received a ballpark estimate that ended up being less that we actually paid in the end. Cesar and Leo arrived on time (even a bit early) for the first visit. They presented us with a lower-cost solution to one of the major issues we needed fixed, a issue with our HVAC condensate pipe and our washing machine--their solution was to drain both into a new utility sink rather than jackhammering up our basement floor to install a larger-capacity pipe. This was highly appreciated! They worked through the rest of our list of fixes over the course of the day as well, and we were pleased with their friendly manner and attention to detail. There was no time for one item on our list (a corroded valve), but they helped us understand that it wasn't an immediate danger. For the second visit, Cesar returned alone to deal with replacing a different shutoff valve that was missing a handle, and replacing a broken pipe (my fault) leading to the front garden hose bib. He explained his plan clearly and always asked before cutting into the basement ceiling to expose pipes. He worked quickly, but took time to check his work and help me understand the changes he was making to our plumbing. He made efforts to ensure the area was fire-safe before using his torch. We are very satisfied with the entire experience and we will definitely call The Gentleman Plumber first for any future plumbing projects.

Better than expected. After getting one estimate from a company that did not present itself professionally or provide a fair cost and charged $90 to boot to just provide the estimate, we turned to Angie's List for a recommendation. With so many companies with good reviews, we narrowed the selection down to one (The Gentleman Plumber) owned by a company we were familiar with (Harry Braswell). After we inquired about an estimate, they promptly sent a representative who assessed the job and provided a ballpark cost for replacing the ejector pump. The estimate was $400 less than the first company; furthermore they did not charge for this first estimate visit. We scheduled the repair. Within a few days, Marco arrived on time and finished the job in less than two hours. He was professional, friendly, and efficient. We highly recommend this company. From the front office to the finished job, everyone involved was helpful and professional.

Went great overall. Good solid work and cleaned up during and after. Disposed of old toilet as well. Only complaint would be that I asked him to replace old shut off valve with new one I provided and it wasn't until after the job was done they wanted $60-70 (told me they would discount to $50 since they didn't tell me up front) more bucks for something that probably only took 5-10 minutes tops. Reading other reviews I thought this might happen so wasn't overly surprised it might cost something just didn't expect that much or for it to only come up after work was completed.

I ordered the $100 replacement deal, which includes the uninstall of an old toilet and installation of a new toilet. The provider showed up on time and hauled away the old toilet. Unfortunately, the toilet I had purchased didn't fit. I bought a new toilet a week later. I bought the deal again on Angie's List, and they scheduled the installation of the new toilet the very next day. Both technicians were extremely pleasant. What I would say impressed me the most is tat neither one rushed the job. They took their time; made sure it was right; and ensured I was satisfied. Another highlight is that the toilet came with a wax ring that was too big, and I had to purchase one from the plumber. Even though they have you over a barrel at that point, the wax ring only cost $4. I appreciated the fact that they didn't take advantage of me by ripping me with a $20 wax ring. Highly recommend using Gentleman Plumber. If I don't return the toilet that didn't fit, I'll use them again to replace a different toilet.

He replaced the works of an unusual toilet that we had struggled with, persisting until it worked well. He then put in a new faucet. This seems simple, but he was so professional and our quality of life raised so much that we want to call them again with any plumbing needs. We're going to follow up by hiring the Gentleman Plumber for future work, based on the work done, and generous guidance offered during this visit.

On time, quick and efficient. Caesar was squared away with his work. Cut out the old faucet and put in the new one. Cleaned everything up after he was done.
