The Gentleman Plumber

Gentlemans plumber was recommended y my parents. After purchasing deal through Angie's list I was quickly contacted by gentleman s plumber to schedule work. They were very accommodating to my schedule and arrived right on time. Plumbers took time to explain what was needed and how long they thought it would last. Very courteous and cleaned up well afterward. Pleasant experience all the way through and would definitely hire again for future plumbing work

It went excellent. The installer was prompt and professional. He ensured everything was working when the work was completed.

After I used it a couple times, I saw that it swiveled all the way to the back wall, it didn?t stop in the sink area. I called them back and they came out today November 1th. The second plumber told me that the particular model that I bought, that is the way that it works. It didn?t have, what they called the stop on it, for it to not swing further back. I spent $120 on a faucet, which I got from a small company, so I was thinking I was getting a good product. The guy said to me, ?you need to spent about $190 to get one that has the stop on it.? The work that they did was fine, and I was pleased with the deal.

Marco was able to identify the problem and fix it easily. Was grateful he had the part in his truck, he could finish the job and I could go back to work!

They came on time, did the work professionally and at the cost stated. I had an excellent experience with this company and would hire again

The technician came as scheduled and performed the service quickly. He took the old faucet with him for disposal. My only complaint is that I only found out after the sale that they wouldn't perform the service on a Saturday, so I had to stay home from work.

They explained the work to be done thoroughly, performed it quickly and the cost was reasonable. They also pointed out some other work that I was also considering but they explained the dangers of trying to replace a water pipe and the materials that surround the pipe could be very costly. Consequently I decided no to have the work done and I appreciate that they pointed that out.

Two plumbers arrived on time, explained what they would do, and set to work. They showed me and explained why three supply lines needed to be replaced at an (inconsequential) additional cost. I knew just enough about plumbing that I knew that what they told me and showed me was accurate. I called two other plumbers for job cost, and both were three times as high as The Gentleman Plumber. I am extremely pleased; from the first call to set up the appointment to completion of the task was less than a week. Work was completed in less than two hours.

Cesar identified and repaired the leak under my kitchen sink and also identified a broken gasket on my garbage disposal; he replaced the garbage disposal. He did not have the replacement part with him for the toilet tank leak so arranged to order the part and return the following week. The bathroom faucet was too caked with lime deposits for him to remove it; it was agreed I would continue to try to loosen the deposit with CLR and he would work with it when he returned. On the second visit, the toilet tank was repaired with the new part and he replaced the aerator on the sink faucet. I am totally satisfied with Cesar's work, commitment and professionalism.

They did a good job and even identified a problem with 1 of the toilets prior they replaced it. They are very friendly and courteous.

Not well. I described the problem in detail to the office. Fellow arrives, rips wall open, looks at leak and says: "There's nothing I can do. This is a 2" main. I don't have the tools. I asked him if the office told him of my description. He says they told him nothing. He left. A call to The Gentleman Plumber office had the owner say, "I have to order a part." I ask, "When can you do the work? He says, "I have to order the part." I say, "I understand, but when can you do the work?" He says, "I don't know. I have to order the part. I can't promise a date." I say, "But I have water flooding into my basement." (SILENCE). After 10 seconds I say, "That's not helpful." He hangs up.

Great is all the details necessary to describe the work.

Wanted lavatory faucet replaced. Purchased $100 faucet replacement deal through Angie's List. Called The Gentleman Plumber directly to schedule the work. Dealing with Kim was a pleasure, as always. Note: we have previously hired The Gentleman Plumber. Kim was pleasant, professional and very helpful. She managed to arrange to schedule the work for 8:00 to 10:00 the following morning. ( requested that the work be scheduled ASAP since the old faucet was leaking and the cut-off valve did not work) Cesar, the plumber, arrived about 7:50 am and was waiting in his truck for 8:00am to roll around. ( the earliest scheduled time), I went out to the truck and told him we were ready for him and he could start immediately. He did. Since the cut off valve was inoperable I asked if it could be fixed or replaced. He suggested a kind of ball valve so the a 90 degree turn would turn off the water. A significant improvement to the old valves (hot and cold). I accepted his quoted price for replacement of both cut-offs. When Cesar saw my amateurish Drain Trap he offered to replace it for only the cost of material required. I accepted. All of the work was completed in about 90 minutes. Cesar is a real pro! The finished work is beautifully done. The area has never looked that neat and professionally done. ( Note: He essentially replaced the faucet and ALL of the plumbing beneath the sink ) We will certainly be happy to have The Gentleman Plumber work on our home again.

We purchased faucet installation for fixed price through Angie's List. On the Wednesday before the Labor Day holiday we contacted The Gentleman Plumber directly to schedule the work. Kim was very helpful in arranging the work for the next Friday, only a day and a half later. She was a pleasure to work with. On Friday, Cesar, the plumber, called before the appointed time to say he could arrive in a few minutes if that was OK. He began work immediately. Some on-line reviews of the faucet we had purchased discussed two important steps the Kohler installation instructions left out. Cesar was clearly aware of them and he completed the installation in about a half hour. He tested the faucet rechecked all the connections and cleaned the area thoroughly. We will definitely call The Gentleman Plumber the next time we need plumbing services.

My previous plumber changed their service area, leaving me out of their range. I'm so glad they did. My experience with the Gentleman Plumber was excellent. I needed a new faucet installed, and everything went smoothly, from scheduling the appointment to the actual work. Thank you!

The work itself went great. Marco did an excellent job, he was professional, explained what was going on, and was very fast. No mess, no fuss. Scheduling could have been smoother. When I initially tried to schedule service I was given an incorrect phone number, which was straightened out. We agreed on a day/time but after an hour past the scheduled time came around and still no plumber I had the service rescheduled for the same time the next day. The next day Marco came 10 minutes early and as noted above quickly and professionally completed the work.

I purchased coupon for new faucet installation. I received a prompt reply from Kim to schedule the appointment -- scheduling was easy. Diego arrived on time and completed the work - start to finish - in one hour. He was very courteous and took the time to show me how to clean the new faucet filter. Highly recommend!!

We've used the Gentleman Plumber for a wide range of services from basic (replacing shut off valves) to more complex (fixing leaky faucets piece by piece to help minimize costs). We've been incredibly happy with their services. Kim is great with scheduling and is very prompt in answering questions. You can't go wrong with any of the plumbers they send out. They are all professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

Marco came on time and was able to evaluate if I needed to fix the flange. Unfortunately, I did and he was able to fix within an hour. He then proceeded to install the toilet. So far so good!

Perfect service all around from requesting service online and receiving a prompt response to Cesar taking care of the issue. He arrived on-time and repaired everything in a timely, clean fashion. I will not hesitate to call them again and am going to look into their concierge service for other home repair issues.
