I responded to Angie's daily deal for gutter service where I paid $99 for $200 worth of repairs. I got a returned email within 24 hours and arranged for an on-site inspection and estimate. It took approximately 3weeks to the get the estimate. It was a a detailed and clear. However, scheduling the estimate took longer than I would have expected. The work was promptly scheduled the next day after I signed the proposal and was completed to my satisfaction. The staff with whom I spoke, Jenn and Patricia were professional and very accommodating to my need to get the work done ASAP because of water damage caused by the gutter pulling from the roof. I would definitely use this company in the future and recommend it to others.

I made an appointment for Metro Gutters to come to my house and give me an estimate for the installation of gutters. Like most people, I intended to meet with several gutter companies and review each company's proposal before deciding which company to choose based on price, service, and expertise. I found Metro Gutters from Angieslist and scheduled an appointment for 1pm, as I was interviewing another gutter company at noon. The Metro Gutters vehicle went by my house around 1230 and saw a competitor parked in front of my house. Rather than being confident in its abilities and not afraid of competition, Metro Gutters texted me and canceled the appointment citing that the job was too complicated. So much for being confident in your work product and abilities. Metro Gutters did not honor its appointment time NOR did the company even bother to knock on my door and inspect the house. I am glad I did not choose this company.

Metro Gutter And Home Services Inc was not responsive immediately and when they finally called me back it was a whole week before they even came out to the estimate. They said they would get back to me. I called the next day and left a message. I called again the following day, and the receptionist told me they couldn’t set up until the end of August. I told her I wouldn't even mind paying extra in order to get this service expedited as timeliness is becoming an issue now. The project has now become an urgent matter.

The estimator was respectful and helpful, and made some suggestions.Not pushy. Installers were polite, a little bit hasty. Before they started I showed them exactly what I wanted, and my special concerns. They said something like...Don't worry, if it's in the contract, we'll do it. They removed the old gutters and installed the new ones. I asked about one down-spout, and if they could turn it. It was not in the contract, but they did it. No extra charge. When they were about finished, I asked where were the splash guards I asked for. They said....You don't need them. I said...But I want them. They looked in the contract, then installed the splash guards.They failed to round the corners, but I let it go because I was tired of dealing with them by then. They hauled away the old gutters. Walking around the yard later, I kept picking up 9 inch gutter nails. Dozens. From the upstairs window, I saw five on the porch roof. I went on the roof to collect those myself before they went into the gutter. It looked like they made no effort to collect and dispose of the big nails. The new gutters are good. Valley splash guards help a lot. I even had Metro come back to install one more.

They didn't call prior to coming out so we didn't know which day to provide them with a bag for the debris. It had been raining that week so the drainage system was still connected to the down spouts. We didn't know which day to leave a bad for the debris. Nothing was left for us the day they arrived. The only way we knew they'd been here was the bill was stuck in the front door. When we called the owner to speak about this, the owner gave no explanation of why they didn't follow our requests. So we told them, this was the last time we'd use their services. Period, end of story.

The work they did was very good. However, when I called them, I explained the problem and they came out and looked at it but rather than giving me an assessment, they didn’t find the problem. I pointed this out and they claimed I didn’t tell them to do this, but I explained that I didn’t know it needed to be done.

The staff were knowledgeable and efficient. They got in and did their job (even though it was 85+ degrees up on the roof). Work was done in 2 sections. Old mortar was removed and replaced, then given time to "cure" before painting. Painting (as well as rest of repairs) was completed about a week later. Everyone I came in contact with was courteous as well as professional. I am very pleased with a job well done!!! I definitely will do business with Metro Gutter in the future.... when the need arises.

We hired Metro Gutter to clean out our gutters and about a week later they came to the house, went up on the roof and cleared the gutters front and back as we had requested. Job seems to be well done. Yes, I would call them again.

It went extremely well and they did a fantastic job. It was for a townhouse and the tenant called over asking for the problem to be taken care of. It was done very quickly and the tenant was very pleased. They were very responsive. The quality was very good. They were very courteous and professional; we had no complaints and neither did the tenants.

They called ahead to let me know when they were coming. They arrived on time. They cleaned up gutters, and work areas. After service, they politely called to remind me that payment was due and took payment by phone.

I scheduled an appointment on the day Metro Gutter suggested; they advised I did not need to be home. When I called to inquire where the report was placed at my home, I discovered no one came out to inspect. Another appointment was set up. The inspection was done -- I was not home. The price seemed high. I called to get a line-by-line pricing and an explanation as to why the suggested replacement was needed. A call was scheduled with the inspector. When he called me, he did not have my report in front of him and could not explain anything. Another call was scheduled. On that call, the inspector was unable to give a clear explanation why he was recommending replacing the gutter and what would be rectify by replacing the gutter. At that point, I ceased contact with this company and did not use them. I would not recommend Metro Gutter.

The service turned out fine. They actually did the service for my sister’s home. The technicians showed up when they said they would. They did exactly what the deal and there were no surprises. Scheduling was not an issue.

We used a groupon not realizing they weren't for previous customers. The company applied the value to the normal service. Showed up when they said the would and cleaned everything up. Only complaint: they left a plastic bag full if the debris from the gutters next to the garage.

They are very good and they clean up well.

Company couldn't get me scheduled until about 4-5 weeks later. Decided to cancel and get refund from Angie's List.

Showed up promptly and did exactly what they said they'd do. We'd definitely use again.

Promptly called after I signed up for an Angie's List promotion and schedule gutter cleaning service. Did a good job of cleaning the gutters. I asked them to secure one short section that was sagging. They didn't do it, but provided me and estimate for $1500 of additional gutter work which I didn't need. The gutter cleaning promotion is of course just their way of trying to get more business and I understand that, but if they had given me a reasonable estimate, I would have used them. They then kept calling and trying to get me to do the additional work by offering me a discount. No thanks.

Did a nice job. They seemed to have gotten a lot of booking so there was a delay in having them do the service. Once they called and confirmed the date and did a good job.

I spoke with the service provider and they were very nice on the phone, but they said they wouldn't be able to come out until the end of July so I had another service provider come out and do the work.

The work was not accomplished (see above).

Work was professionally done. The work was completed ahead of schedule. They re-pitched and sealed a faulty gutter on a three story town home.
