It was hard to schedule, but the service was excellent.

Fast and easy. I didn't even need to be at home for the work to be done.

We had sold our house and needed to have exterior caulking of all windows and doors and thought this was the perfect solution - big mistake! Told the scheduler I did not need an estimate, just wanted my 2 hrs of caulking - however, this was not an option and the estimator was scheduled for a week later. He was polite and professional and provided a cost of $1700 to perform all exterior caulking - stating that they have a set price starting at about $80 per window and up based on size. Wow, could not believe the price. Spoke to the estimating manager the next day and he stated that there is a lot of work in removing the old caulking and applying the new. After discussion of our situation, he agreed to just caulk over the old if I accepted responsibility in writing and scheduled my two hrs of caulking about a week later. The 2 workers arrived on time and I explained to them my priorities for caulking - garage doors, electrical box, dryer vent, fireplace side of house, garage side of house, back of house, and front of house - so whatever they could finish in 1 hr. Guess, they did not listen. While they did start with the garage door and electrical box, they did the front of the house (my last priority) and then the back of the house. As they were packing up to leave, I asked them to at least do one of the two windows on the fireplace side of house and the dryer vent - which they did do. So I would not recommend this Big Deal - unless you only have 2 windows to caulk.

Update: I was contacted by the owner of the company; he resolved these issues to my satisfaction and took responsibility for his employees. Hats off to him! He is very passionate about his company and knowledgeable of this type of work. He assures me that my experience is not typical of the service his company provides. I believe him. He addressed these issues directly with his employees and "improved" his staff. I will consider using this company in the future. P.S. Downspout cleaning is part of their service!!!!! Story: I requested a gutter cleaning ($95) which was accomplished while I was on vacation (did not need to be home - good thing). After vacation, an estimator arrived to quote a gutter repair ($150), downspout extension ($175) and install drip strip ($150). (Prices were reasonable). He stated the gutter was repairable. Technicians arrived soon after and were very friendly, completed the work and answered questions. The drip strip install was fine; ground gutter extension fine; repair a no-go. Also, I asked about the cleaning service specifically asking if the downspout was cleaned and how they did it. The technician stated they did not clean downspouts; just the gutter itself. The entire reason for the cleaning was to clear the downspout. The next rain I had the exact same issue (leak and overflow - videoed). Called the company to state the gutter was not repaired and the downspout was obviously clogged. The person on the phone said she would send out a technician to look at the repair; if the repair was the issue there would be no cost, but since the downspout was clogged there would be another cleaning charge. I informed her that the company did not clean/clear downspouts per the technicians response to my questions (now corrected). She argued that downspout cleaning was part of their service, the downspout was cleaned, the downspout could be clogged again since it had been a month since the last cleaning. The technicians obviously did not clear the downspout and the repair did not work. I discontinued the call.

They arrived on time and explained what they were going to do. They completed everything in a few hours - cleaned out my gutters and did not leave a mess. I was happy with them.

My experience was fine. I was pleased with the service. Scheduling the appointment was fine.

That was very good. They replaced my rear gutters. This was on a 2 story town house . I was not here when they did the work, but scheduling was fine.They suggested that I get wider gutters and a wider downspouts so I appreciated their expertise in suggesting that.

The cleaning happened while I was out of the house. Appeared to go well.

I chose to go with Gutter Helmut.

It was exactly as I had hoped and very speedy. They communicated how it would go and executed on schedule and in keeping with our agreed price.

Ultimately a good experience, but required several trips and followups from me. The first time the team came out to clean and install some gutter block systems they did not finish the job (although they thought they did). There was one section with no screen that was visible from the upper level and during subsequent rainstorms it was apparent that the downspouts had not been cleaned out. Had to make a couple of calls/emails back to the company to get them to come back out, ultimately withholding the completion portion of the payment. Once the original estimator came back out, they worked hard to make it right, which they ultimately did.

Both of our experiences with Metro Gutter have been very positive. The drain pipe they installed fixed our problem and is now keeping our front porch dry during heavy rains. We have several large trees nearby and the filters have also been doing a excellent job of sealing out the leaves which seem to just bounce off the gutters now. They are professionally knowledgable and expert workers. We are very pleased with our dealing with Metro Gutter and will only use them in the future.

The work that was performed was done very well, however only a fraction of the work that was scheduled was completed on time as scheduled. This company lacks in providing thorough estimates that are solutions to the actual problem rather than additional work that is unrelated. They also lack the ability to have a team with the right number of employees to complete the work they schedule. Too bad the management does a poor job scheduling and lacks commitment to customers.

They came to my house a couple of times and cleaned the gutters. We had 2 sides that we had problems with specifically -- and I told them this. They didn’t do such a good job.

I didn't realize that I had already bought a Groupon from them but they applied the price to the job. He did a great job. He cleaned up everything and we took it out to the trash.

They initially came out on July 28th to perform the estimate. The estimator kept try to up-charge for additional items, plus he would not include the Big Deal coupons in the pricing. He just gave me the total cost and said that I would have to call the business office to get that subtracted. I was told on the 31st that a supervisor would redo the estimate and email it to me, which did happen. The estimate I got (with the Big Deal purchase included) was over $2,300 and I received an estimate from a different provider for the same work was only $1,860, which is quite a bit cheaper. This is the first time that I have purchased a Big Deal and felt like I didn't actually get a deal. I am finding to benefit to this particular Big Deal so I have contacted Angie's List in order to get a refund of the Big Deal purchase.

They did a great job of cleaning the gutters. However, it took months to schedule a date and when I complained to the reception person about this, she was verty abrasive.

We have a plastic gutter that leaks on the house side- that is what I wanted repaired. Estimator said that wouldn't work and that I would need new gutters. I do not want to pay the additional money to upgrade my gutters right now.

They responded very quickly and sent a qualified polite and friendly estimator who listened to my needs and provided an estimate. I later found I needed roof work and that the 6 inch gutters provided in the big deal were not necessary for my home.

I had misread the deal that I purchased with them, thinking it was for gutter cleaning, but it was actually for gutter replacement. I contacted them asking if they could do the cleaning for the same price, but they were unwilling to work with me on it. I do wish they had been a little more willing to negotiate and been somewhat more customer oriented, but they never responded to me when I asked about the gutter cleaning.

They were excellent. They checked to make sure I had the right size for my house. They told me how often I need to get them cleaned and why. They really were on top of everything.

I have an Insurance Agency and myself and staff have referred Metro Gutter for roof, gutter and siding repairs to our customers who have wind and tree damage. They always respond in a timely manner, and we can count on their staff to be personal and professional. They do great work and always keep us in the loop if there is a claim involved.

I didn't pay any additional fees but the estimate that they provided were about 5 times the $99. They're not customer friendly.

Their price is very fair and they do a good job. They don’t make any appointments with you. In the sense, you need not be at home when they are coming. They would give you a call 30 minutes before they could come. They would come, clean the gutters and put them in garbage bags and leave them on the road for the garbage men to come and take. They are very good. I am very pleased with them.

Purchased a gutter cleaning special. As my house is larger than average, I asked for them to "focus" on a specific area of gutters along the front of my house, as that gutter was clogged. On the day of the cleaning, when I came home, there was gutter muck splashed on the drive way, a plastic bag with gutter muck stuck behind a tree in my front yard, and as this gutter can be seen from my bedroom, it was still clogged and filled with liquid. I sent an email to Metro, with pictures and within a couple of days the gutter was cleaned as well as the mess the previous crew had left behind. I am not confident that the other gutters were ever cleaned.
