I signed up for a skylight sealing/repair for $75. OK, you do not get a lot for $75 - understand - but I got absolutely nothing as it was deemed that the issue was not sealing. And, I also got an estimate to repair/replace most of my gutters. Total estimate - nearly $3000. I did not need to pay someone $75 to give me an estimate - and curiously, when the office is scheduling the service, they continuously refer to the "estimator" coming out.

It has been 3 months and Metro gutter has not responded to my calls or emails. it seems Metro and Angies list took my money for the gutter cleaning deal and have no intention of performing the work. Avoid this company.

An estimator was first scheduled to quote the total cost of the job (I already knew it would be more than the coupon I bought). Estimate was reasonable. Installers arrived one schedule (a little early, fortunately, since the weather was forecast to worsen. Work was done efficiently and without problem in spite of windy, very cold weather. The old gutters were hauled off and the yard cleaned of installation scraps. The installation looks very good and appears correct. Installers were very professional. One small change at the end was handled very smoothly. Overall, an excellent experience.

It was great. They were fine. Everybody I ever had, they were excellent. I had no problem. I think they came out twice and both times I wasn't home. They did a good job and there was no mess. Everything was fine. It's almost three levels on the back. There is no debris on my deck. I would use them again if I was still in Virginia.

It went very well. Their professionalism was great. The contact person I dealt with on the phone was courteous, prompt & timely. I didn’t have any issues.

The actual gutter cleaning work was fine. The contractors gave a call ahead, showed up, cleaned the gutters, bagged the leaves, and left. The problem, and this is where the incompetence comes in, is that they did not have us move our cars back, but did blow out a large amount of dirt and debris out of the gutter onto the front of my car. Part of this debris impacted my windshield. There was no visible damage at the time of the service, but by the next morning, a large crack formed in my windshield. I called them about the property damage they caused. Eventually, a field manager responded, saying the contractors took a picture of my car when they did the work, which showed no crack. How convenient. I'm sure if such a picture exists, it only serves as further proof they did cause the damage. Car covered in dirt and debris falling from a great height-->cracked windshield. I had no choice but to get my windshield replaced (about $300). I sent the field manager a picture of my cracked windshield. No reply. I called them again and they said the manager would get back to me. Never did. This is your typical incompetent, sleazy contracting service. They'll clean your gutters alright, but they have only contempt for you as a customer. If they cause any damage to your property, you're on your own.

Except for communication about scheduling the work - which was VERY bumpy - I was pleased with the service and would recommend Metro Gutter. When I purchased the Big Deal ($99 for $200 worth of work) on 14 Dec 2014 I expected Metro Gutter to contact me to confirm an appointment - I included a note in my request to indicate preferred service dates and my mobile number. On 18 Dec Metro Gutter called me to indicate they'd send an estimator to my home on 19 Dec and that I need not be present. Having received no estimate or evidence that an inspector visited on 18 Dec, I called Metro Gutter on 22 Dec. At that time we set 5 Jan as the date an estimator would visit my home, and I agreed to be present for the inspection. The estimator, William, phoned me in advance of his arrival and arrived slightly early! He did a thorough inspection, emailed me photos of the problematic fascia board (NOTE that this problem was pointed out to me originally by American Professional Chimney & Masonry, Inc., whom I had used through Angie's List to do chimney work for me), explained the repairs needed and other work recommended - and did not pressure me in any way! He was fantastic - professional, courteous, organized and personable. We finalized the contract and scheduled the work for 14 Jan. The crew contacted me in advance to confirm their arrival and they completed the work on time, did a good job, and left no mess! Though the work was completed one month after purchase of the Big Deal - 1) this was around the holidays, and 2) the weather was not very cooperative. I would use these guys again for repairs. Their gutter cleaning fees seemed a bit pricey, though.

I purchased a deal from this company and submitted my preferred schedule. When the company failed to contact me, I contacted them. They told me the deal I had purchased only applied to new gutter installation, not existing gutter cleaning and repair. Thus, they performed no work and I was issued a refund.

Great! The technicians were courteous, very detail-oriented, & explained explicitly what the repairs involved.

Company had a discount coupon, which made the price reasonable. Unlike several other companies, they understood the somewhat complex problem we had and came up with a good solution. They were prompt and helpful. They actually forgot to do one part of the job, but when I let them know they were immediately responsive and came out the next day to finish.

Scheduled to come on Tuesday, they did not call my cell to let me know they had to reschedule due to rain. They called home number, which I had asked them not to call. A bit frustrating. They did come the next day. New gutters look good and perform well. I'm happy with the work.

When the crew got there to do the repairs, they noted there was some damage, felt the project was too advanced for what they could do and left. Apparently this meant they couldn't clean the gutters for some reason nor could they adjust or repair any of them - disappointing. They did promptly refund the deposit and have always handledthemselves well - but I would not recommend them for anything other than a basic project.

Provider was timely and responsive; they explained the job well, and completed the repair on schedule. I cannot actually judge the repair from close-up -- the gutter section that was replaced is on a very high and not very accessible roof -- but from down below it looks fine and the gutter is no longer dripping. Price seemed very fair.

It went very well. We spoke over the telephone and they came when they said they would and cleaned the gutters as we discussed. The debris was bagged and left on the front lawn.

The person who reviewed & quoted the work was knowledgeable and paid attention to details. The guys who did the repairs were communicative and courteous. They thoroughly completed the job, and they did very good work. I recommend them!

When I made an appointment for cleaning schedule, they told me they cannot provide which day they can come for cleaning because they work by week-based schedule. So, it can be any day between Monday to Friday. They told me it's not a big deal because they can clean the gutters even though there is nobody at home, but it still doesn't make sense to me. Also, I did remember I got a cleaning schedule on specific day with the same company in last year. Anyway, they promised they will call me in advance on the day they'll come for cleaning. But, they didn't. They just knocked on my door to ask for cleaning. What's gonna happen if nobody is in the house? The job they did is fine and quick. They also wrote some report for my gutter status.
