they did a great job cleaning the gutters and repaired a few without additional charge. they didn't leave the stuff in the gutter on the ground and put them all in 3 plastic bags. so the ground is not messy at all. Great job! will use them again.

Installation went very well. Crew showed up exactly when they said they would and finished mid-afternoon. The installation process was described to me one last time and we walked the property to confirm our initial. Crew as professional and efficient. I needed to have additional plumbing work performed inside because my water meter is inside the house. I was concerned about this part of the job because other companies that had quoted on the job seem perplexed by how to deal with this situation. The plumbing part went well with little modification to walls/ceilings. Several weeks after the install I had another meeting to revisit the new system and get more in depth instruction on how to use the system. Contact with Affordable Lawn Sprinkers during the process was great. They were always very responsive. I would recommend them to others.

Emmanuel cleaned our gutters and did a great job. First of all they were able to schedule us quickly. He called ahead before arriving and was very patient with the fact that I couldn't hear him well on the phone. There was a lot of construction noise in the neighborhood. Our house doesn't have a lot of gutters, so I thought the price was a little high, but he did a great job and cleaned up after himself so there was no mess.

I selected the company over the other two companies based the better interactions during the time the estimate was provided. The actual technicians were great, and the quality of the work seems good (it has only been one week since the work has been done). They cleanup afterwards. The one problem is that they don't give you a window, but a 30 minute call before they are on their way. I worked from home that day, but thought it would have been inconvenient if I needed to go to work. I could not block a half day to be home for the work either way. It has been all of the "OTHER" stuff working with the administrative staff that has been exhausting. I took advantage of an Angie's List deal to pay $99 upfront for $200 worth of work. I had hope to set up a a date based on that, but was scheduled almost two weeks out after they finally found that I paid the deposit online as well. The work was done and I was presented with a bill to pay in full, not with the subtraction of the $200. I received a call during the work day from their office the first business day after the job was done (I guess there is no assumption that PEOPLE do work during the day and balance due collection was not the first thing on my mind. The invoice also stated that I had 7 days. I informed the person that I would mail in the payment but it needs to minus the $200 and to please check their Angie's List account to note that they should have received that upfront $99. We confirmed the amount I was to pay and I mailed the check. Out of the blue yesterday, same abrupt person call 5 minutes before I was planning to go into a work meeting, and rudely told me that my payment that did not reflect the full amount of the invoice. I reminder her about that THAT was the amount she told me I was to pay, and she demanded that I look for receipt and forward to them that shows I took paid for the Angie's List deal. I have used other vendors and paid through the system, but this the first time I am using a vendor who doesn't seem to know how to track payments (deposits and deals) through their own online system. I was told by the technician that I need to look at some roofing work and he would send an estimate. Nothing received one week past the date, so I will look for other vendors when I am ready to proceed with that. The works gets done, the administrative person I had to deal with has been abrasive and frustrating to say the least.

Scheduled the maintenance package for an unknown slot within a week of time. Technician called me before arriving ( I was not required to be there) - showed up and performed the requested maintenance. Technician again called after completing the work and mentioned some deficiencies in the gutters/chimney crown. The company then put together a proposal of modifications/new installations to mitigate found deficiencies. This came along with pictures of the damage to the gutters and chimney. Note that some packages come with price additions (this is mentioned in their package summary) for having both screens on gutters as well as the grade of the roof being too steep. The steepness threshold was a 6/12 roof - which is something like a 26 degree pitch.

Gutter cleaning was done quickly with no issues. The gutter cleaner provided an initial report and was followed up by an inspection from another gentleman.

Very professional and friendly company to work with. I wasn't at home when the gutters were cleaned but the tech called me and reviewed the job over the phone. He gave me a sample of the gutter guard that they would use if I wanted them installed in the future.

Steve is a fantastic technician and was very thorough. He did not try to hard-sell or up-sell me in any way. He was focused on the job - did the job - then gave me his findings and recommendations. There is a separate guy on staff that takes care of estimates -and will call for an appointment at a later date to consider some of the work that Steve identified (and showed me w/pictures taken on his phone). He took the time to explain to me things that looked really good - as well as things that aren't "to industry standards." I would highly recommend Steve and the Metro team based on this experience. I will absolutely give them a shot to win work that I was already planning for (that Steve confirmed needed to be done).

One of our downspouts blew off in a storm. We bought a coupon for $100 for $200 worth of downspout repair service. Metro came out, estimated the repair at the cost of the coupon and performed the work the following week. Work was finished in an hour or so and the downspout has remained firmly in place ever since.

The process was very smooth, the craftsmanship was good, and the gentleman who came to my home to install the gutter was quite professional. I have to complaints, though. First, they made the gutter too long... It sticks out from the side of my house by about 6-8 inches, which just looks sloppy. Also, we bought a "deal" on Angie's List thinking the whole project would be $300-$400, and it ended up be $550... Even though we got a cheaper quote from another service providers, we HAD to use this provider because we purchased their deal. I felt like we were getting strong armed and would recommend negotiating the cost of your job BEFORE purchasing the deal.

It went as advertised. They had to cancel a couple times due to high winds but they managed to get it done.

It was a fine service and I have no complaints.

What they really do is come out, inspect your roof, then give an estimate for other work they think needs to be done on your roof - with the option to have them come back a second time to "fix" the original problem you paid them to address. In this case, the estimator's proposed "fix" for a minor skylight leak was to apply caulk to some cracks that developed in misapplied adhesive from an old but botched repair. It was not a real fix, but a cheap way to say they did something without really costing them anything to solve the underlying problem. That underlying problem, I subsequently discovered when I decided to double check the situation, was improperly installed flashing around the skylight which a prior repair job "fixed" by smearing adhesive caulking all around the surrounding shingles. Over time, some of that smeared adhesive had cracked, thus causing a small water leak. I understand that fixing the underlying problem of improper flashing and then a prior botched repair might have exceeded the scope of the original $75 special, but it was either incompetent or else dishonest to try to fix the current leak by smearing some more caulk over the prior improperly applied older caulk. It was a way to get off cheap rather than really honor price of the original "special" deal I purchased through Angie's List. In addition, the quote for the other work they said needed to be done was very excessive compared to what I paid just the month before for nearly identical work by reputable roofing contractor on another house I own. I believe the much higher quote on this second house came from the fact it is in a more affluent neighborhood - which seems to cause contractors to think they can jack up their prices.

The deal was caulking 3 top floor windows in my townhouse. The men arrived on time and actually caulked additional windows without additional cost to me. It took them several hours of work and I was pleased.

They did great work, I don't have issues with that. What I did have problems with was the fact that they changed the estimate on me when they found out I had the Angie's List coupon.

They did a great job once they got there. They didn't make the first appointment, but were very apologetic. Things happen and I wasn't upset. Once they arrived they did an exceptional job ---- I would and probably will use them again for gutter maintenance.

I have no complaints about the installers and they work they did. My complaint is with the office staff that seems to think people don't want to be home when work is done on their house. I called the provider for replacement of two sections of gutters. The estimate was done and included replacing wrapped fascia boards on 3 sections of gutter. I had only asked for two and not the fascia boards. I agreed with replacing the fascia board in one section, but the one in the rear had already been replaced. Requested new estimate that only replaced one fascia board and the two damaged gutter sections. Kept the cleaning and downspout repair also. The day before they were to come out there was a snow/sleet/rain event. I called in the morning to see if the work would take place. They said they were waiting to see if the ice melted enough to do the work. I waited for them to call. Around 12:30 PM they called and said they weren't going to be able to do it. They said they'd be out at the next available time. I asked when that would be because I wanted to be there. They said 3/12/15. I agreed. On 3/9 received a call that they were at my house doing to do the work. I called them back and said that I needed to be there for them to do the work. They called back to ask if they could leave the gutters sections in the yard. I said they could. I then got a call from the office who said that they really wanted to do the work that day and why couldn't I let them do it. Again I stated I had to be there to do the work. They said it was going to rain the next couple of days and that plenty of people like to have the work done when they are not home. I stated that I am not one of those people. I want to be at the house so I know what is being done to my house. They came on 3/12 and did the work. They workers did an excellent job and the gutters look and work well (so far).

From the time I purchased the $99 deal for $200 worth of gutter repair, the estimate and work were completed within two weeks. It was extremely easy and the work was high quality. I would definitely use them again.

They were very responsive. Called right away, scheduled the inspection quickly and did the scheduled the work all in a timely fashion. I was not home when they came out to do the work but when I returned home from work things looked ok. I was however, disappointed the workers had not cleaned up after they were finished. There was trash left behind as well as cut up metal and screws left on ground. When the office called to check up on how I felt the work went I did voice my concern that clean up had not occurred. They apologized and ensured they would turn it over to the manager for follow up. I do feel they were professional, courteous and took my concerns seriously. I feel comfortable in the work done and I would do business with them again.

That turned out fine. I was satisfied. They were there on time. The reason they got less than an A from the overall grade is because when you cant see what they do its hard to know how great it was.

We were having problems with our gutters spouting water we decided to have these guys look at the issue, and bought a coupon in anticipation of this. When we had the guy come out to do the estimate he recommended cleaning out the gutters and a couple of patch jobs on the gutters themselves for, what I thought was a lot of money (sorry I can't remember now, but it was way more than the $200 coupon we had). I decided to get a tall ladder and do the cleaning myself and then see if there were still issues. When I got up there I saw that there were were screens and lids on all the gutters making it virtually impossible for debris to get in there - and, indeed, there was nothing in the gutters to clean out. I was so p***** off that he had given us an estimate to do all that work at hundreds of dollars of cost, when what he recommended clearly did not need to be done. I never used the coupon (what a waste of money!!). And when we later had that down spout linked into an underground drainage pipe that we were having installed, the spouting of water stopped completely. So it clearly had NOTHING to do with what the estimator said it did (neither the cleaning out of gutters, nor the new edges and caps on the gutters themselves.

They were excellent. Prompt and very conscientious about the entire inspection
