+ 0 moreTook nearly 6 weeks to come to my home. I had to call 3 times to follow up. They even asked me to call them back after they had a computer or phone issue. (I thought I was the customer). They eventually came out on a Sunday when I was not in town, so I never met the team that worked on my house. They did provide an estimate for roof replacement as they noted that I needed a new roof.

+ -1 moreIt was okay. They had to come out three times. They quoted different prices but I ended up speaking with the manager. He actually called himself and made it right. They didn't complete all the work on the first visit. They came back with another quote of an additional $400 to $500. They ended up not charging me but still did the job. They could do the actual job on first time. They left the area clean. I would use them again in future. I think they are okay.

After one company cancelled an appointment, we reached out to Metro who not only completed the work to our satisfaction, but came out 2 weeks early to get it done! We were so happy that we are going to have them come out every time we need work on our gutters and downspouts.

+ -1 moreI called to schedule a gutter cleaning for the first time. I mentioned (per the website) that I was a first time customer and that the website said I would receive a 10% discount. I was told that the discount was only good when I scheduled two (2) gutter cleanings. Here is exactly what the website says: "Special 1 - New customer only When calling mention that you have visited us online to get 10% off our gutter, chimney, & pressure washing cleaning services." No mention of having to schedule two cleanings. That is a bait-and-switch to me. I did not schedule the cleaning and will be going to someone else who at least honors their statements on line.

Description of Work: I used the big deal purchased for Metro Gutter And Home Services. There was water coming into the house I never knew from where it was coming from. They said the roof was fine condition, they said may be the leak was coming from the vents in the roof and they gave me a price to fix that but it was very very expensive so I never had them to do the work.

+ 1 moreThe gutter repair itself seems to be just fine and the appearance is better on the front of the house. The challenge I had with Metro Gutter was scheduling the service. I was asked to call, not correspond through Angie's list or email, and the office hours are 8-5. I called several times close to 5 and was asked to call back because people were trying to go home. So it took my awhile to schedule. The process is paper based, without very clear instructions. An estimate is left and if you want the service performed, then you send that plus a check back to Metro Gutter. It was not very clear how much to send back, particularly if you buy a big deal, and call the office provided to be another run around. So the work was just fine, but the scheduling and process not so much.
Description of Work: Replaced a gutter that had pulled off the house and secured the back gutter.

+ 0 moreIt went really well. It was very straight forward. They did a great job. I had a spot on my roof where it was flat and they sort of graded down so that the water could drain off better. Really transparent. Pretty quick about doing the job.

+ -1 moreService was not provided because of difficulty of phone agent. We had good service other years.
Description of Work: A business is only as good as it is presented by person who answers the phone. I dealt with Andrea and in my opinion she was extremely difficult and could not handle the spelling of simple names or get phone numbers correct. She couldn't guarantee that they would come the week they were scheduling me yet she wanted a credit card to guarantee payment since she said we had never used them before even though we had always used them in a previous location ( once at this location.) We needed assurance that it would be done at least by that week, which was already weeks away, because we were closing on our house. They used to be a good provider but this is not a place to call anymore in my opinion. It is one thing for a phone operator to have difficulty with spelling and such, but to have a attitude on top of is more than unprofessional in my opinion.

I was told that he patched nail holes and did some caulking. I was then told that I was missing shingles. I was quoted $500 for the repairs.I knew that shingles had blown off. I was told that they would be replaced, along with the ridge line shingles. They showed up the next day to do the work. [two men]. They were up on the roof no longer than 30 minutes. Based on that, $500 was an excessive charge for the work done..
