Description of Work: Owner Kent Baake came to inspect my leaky skylights.They are about 30 years old. He found that they were were too old, and had deteriorated too much. He said they could patch, but could not guarantee the work. He advised replacing them. I understand and agree with his report. But I all I want is a patch for now. So I will let them leak. Mr. Baake was very nice, respectful and professional.

Description of Work: It was a bait & switch. They came over and gave me an estimate for fixing all of my gutters. This took over an hour. The estimate was for over 2,000.00. All I wanted was a small repair. So I had to call them & ask them what the repair I wanted would cost. I then let them do it. k I reminded them that I had paid Angies list $99 for $200.00 and gave them my credit card. When I got my credit card they had charged me twice-plus "forgot" about the $99.00. I am waiting for the correction to be made on my credit card.

Description of Work: I had Metro repair a problem with the gutter on the front of my house and they also performed several handyman type tasks. They were prompt, very professional and I was satisfied with the work they performed. If I needed a gutter repair in the future I would use them again.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal - $75 for a Skylight Maintenance or Pipe Collar Repair Package. Metro Gutter was very responsive in contacting me to schedule an appointment. For the appointment, I had two choices since the work would be all external on the roof: if I wanted to be at the house when the technician worked, they would schedule an exact date/time, or (2) if I did not want to be at the house, they would schedule a week the tech would arrive. I chose the later option and was told the week the tech would arrive. As it turned out, the tech did not arrive that week but rather the week later; this was a surprise but not an issue in my case. Upon arrival, the tech phoned me with his inspection results and reported that the repair fell-under the deal already purchased-great and as expected. He also reported that my roof cap needed tightening which he accomplished. I don't believe this was covered under the deal, and I GREATLY appreciate him doing this work. The tech was friendly and professional over the phone. This was a pleasant experience, a GREAT value, and I would certainly recommend METRO GUTTER to friends and use them again.

Description of Work: The quote from the company for the work came out to $1750 which I though was high. I negotiated with the estimator who said that he was permitted to offer 15% discount, but not in along with the Angie's List coupon. Since the 15% was $260, and the value of the coupon was only $100, I chose the 15%, thereby eliminating the need for the coupon, for which I seek a refund. The work was completed on schedule and I'm satisfied with the job, but not overwhelmingly so. It is OK and meets my needs. I haven't seen how it performs in the rain yet, but it looks OK.

Description of Work: Re-attached front gutter along with down spout which had come loose due to snow on a three story townhouse. | |They did this work on one of the coldest & windiest days of the year. They were terrific!!
