My bathroom faucet had a small leak only when the water was turned on. I called All American and they sent someone out 7/21/16. He said he would would need to order a part and he would call me. Later that day I was notified that they had the part and the plumber would return the next day. A different plumber showed up and said the other guy had been fired and they didn't have his notes on the job so he would have to have a look, He took the faucet apart then partially put it back together (no handle) and said he would need to order parts. He also turned off the water supply to that faucet. The following day I looked under the sink and my $3,000.00 vanity cabinet was flooded with water. I had to keep a bucket under the sink. I called them every week for a month waiting for the part and when it finally came in they said it was in the wrong finish so they would have to re order it. A month went by so I was fed up and called Len the Plummer. They sent Greg who was prompt and professional. He took the faucet apart and said that Kohler should replace the part free of charge. I called Kohler and we both spoke with them and they are sending the part which should be here in a few days at which time Greg will return to install it. He fixed my toilet. I was scheduled to receive an estimate for services. The plumber was supposed to arrive between 10am-2pm, I called at 2:05pm and I was told the person that I was waiting for was on his way to my house. I waited, then I called back at 3pm to cancel the appointment.

They said that they don't charge overtime on weekends but they charged me. It was $750 to replace my garbage disposal. I looked at the part they have on the catalogue and if I ordered it online, it would have costed half of what they charged me. The technician who came out was fine. They were on time. The price was the issue with them. It was astronomical.

I’ve had a few plumbing issues lately and, knowing Len the Plumber had a good rating, contacted them They promptly returned my call and, after I didn’t pick up, actually phoned me the next day- a Saturday! I was impressed and we set up an appointment block – from 12 to 4 the following Tuesday. Having not heard a peep on Tuesday, I phoned them at 3:30 and was told that my plumber was not going to be finished with his current job until 4:30, but that she would try to locate another Len plumber that might be able to get to me sooner. At 5, I finally heard back from them and she told me that he was just finishing up in NW and was on his way to me (in SE). At 6:30 (!!!!! ) I phoned back, pointing out that DC isn’t all that big and that in no way should it take 1.5 hours to get from one quadrant to another. I told her to cancel and hung up. Then – incredibly! – at 7 I heard a knock at the door – it was the plumber – A FULL THREE HOURS after the FOUR HOUR BLOCK of time to show up had ended. I turned him away. I never heard from them with an apology or explanation. This is the second time this has happened to me – a plumber not showing up – the other was Spartan. I honestly don’t know who to try next – but I would urge you not to use Len the Plumber. Apparently, if you are not an emergency call (where they undoubtedly charge higher rates) they don’t bother. They should spend more money on hiring a number of plumbers to adequately staff their appointments, rather than on local TV advertising!!

Everything went great! Had to replace the main water line and completed the difficult project done in a day for about $3000. The following day, the 12 year old hot water heater went out with the new water line pressure. They made it a priority to replace our hot water heater as quickly as possible for about $1000. Besides using all of our savings in one week, we received a high quality service and product from Len the Plumber. Will used again for plumbing emergencies and problems.

Perfectly! after the fill valve was initially replaced. It did work at that time, but the 1st plumber mentioned that the shut off valve should also be replaced. When that was done 2 weeks later, the noise started up again! I had 4 previous plumbers come out after that, including our local Gas & Electric Company, and no one knew what to do. They gave scenarios from dirty pipeline, to sand in the tank, to construction work in the neighborhood and my favorite - roots from a tree tangling up the outside pipes. In one minute, the technician from Len the Plumber knew exactly what it was (new shut off valve needed to be opened slightly, not shut off completely). Kudos to them! I'll definitely use them in the future.

The leak was fixed and toilet is working great. Anthony Stango was very effeiencent, knowledgeable and very helpful with solving this prob and taking care of it so quickly. I would recommend him to help solve any plumbing problem you have.

Estimator was on time, professional, identified the problem quickly, reviewed the proposed work in detail. Due to their high cost estimate and 4 other locations identifying the break 3 to 4 feet from Lens location, I passed on Len.

Everything worked out fine. The price included the toilet and the installation. It was very punctual. They were very thorough. They cleaned up after themselves.

It was satisfactory. Len The Plumber advertises that they're available seven days a week. That's not necessarily true because I needed them on a Sunday and they weren't available. They came out and they did a fine job, but their advertising is not accurate. They did come out and they took care of what needed to be taken care of and they didn't charge me a lot of money. But I needed them when I needed them and they weren't available, even though they advertised that they were. They did come out when they said they would come out. The guy was very professional. I wouldn't use them again. I would go to the guy who came to my house because he works independent of this company, in addition to working for the company. So I would probably go to him directly before I would go back to Len The Plumber.

They were able to fix it very quickly.

They did it successfully at a reasonable cost. They did a very good job. They do a fine job, every time I've ever used them.

The company contacted me and promised to return my $50. The serviceman who came to our house is no longer with the company. I would use this company again for emergency work where cost is not as important. For work which is non-critical, I would try to find a small local provider instead.

Plumber very aggressive in explaining things but I was so frustrated with needing to get things done that I said ok. He gave long explanation about how long the job would take and how he didn't know 'what he would run into". I am wondering if he is working on a commission basis where he gets a percentage of the fee he charges, versus the company setting the prices.

Shower was leaking hot water thru the valve/faucet and down the drain. Valves were very old (nearly 30 years). I am a moderate DIY type and have fixed similar issues in other homes I have owned. The fixtures were so old they came apart while I was attempting to repair them. The project went beyond my capability . Had to shut the water off to the house as there were no shut-off valves behind the shower stall. Contacted 3 plumbers and Len The Plumber was the only response that could come out the same day (Saturday). The initial call with office staff went very well and very professional. The on-call plumber arrived within two hours. Plumber was very pleasant and informative. I indicated we were planning to remodel in the next several months. Plumber suggested shut off valves behind the shower (thru access panel) to avoid securing water to the whole house in the future. I agreed this was a good idea. Plumber only had a rather cheap faucet/fixture in the truck with him. We agreed that due to an immenent remodel we may not even keep the fixtures in the long run and they would be OK to use. The install took about 3 hours. Very professional install. Plumber cleaned up well when work was finished. Only real downside I experienced is the cost. I believe nearly a grand for new (cheap) fixtures and two shut off valves is steep. Probably could have spent significantly less had there been more option to shop around and wait for someone to come out to perform the repair. Service call charge of $49 was applied to the cost of the repair. Plumber applied a $10 off coupon as a nice gesture. Final cost $994.

They were good. But they were too high. They charged me $900 for the first half and $900 for the second half. That was too much money. They were too expensive. I wouldn't recommend them. He did good work. But when he pulled out the invoice for me to pay, it was $900. I wish I would have known that it was going to be $900. They should not be so expensive. He did clean up afterwards.

They charge $49 to come out as a service charge, and do not take that off the final bill. If their estimate gets approved and they get the job they will not take the service charge off the final bill. They are very expensive.

Our toilet tank would not fill. Called first thing in the morning (8:00 a.m.) and they were able to send out a plumber the same day. The plumber arrived by 11:00 a.m. Called to let me know he was on his way. Very prompt service. The plumber explained the problem and the cost. The cost was within what I expected. Would Len the Plumber again.

The plumber came to my house twice. My basement flooded and the plumber assumed it was because of the sump pump so he came to fix that. Then my basement flooded again and I call the same plumber to come out and then he told me it was my back drain was clogged. He snaked the drain and charged me for this additional service that was not fixed completely the first time. When he snaked the drain he did not clear it, he just said he hit tree root. I didn't realize I had bad service until I had a family friend come out and snake my drain after him and cleared my drain! I basically paid double the price it would cost to get your drain snaked and did not even get it cleared by LEN the Plumber.
