Dan, an experienced plumber with company gave me an estimate for a new hot water heater and in spite of the several challenges with the removal they stuck to the estimate, they arrived at the argreed upon time, he explained what he did and why and he gave me a $100 off because I am member of Angies List, I rate the exprience very highly

He showed up within the time he was going to and completed the work. He was okay, nothing outstanding but nothing terrible. It was a little more expensive than I expected. I don’t know if I’d use them again.

The technician showed up on time and examined the closet where we believed there was a potential leak. They were thorough and explained the situation to me (it appeared condensation was dripping onto some fallen insulation). It took a fair bit of discussion to come to an agreement on what was going on, but the technician was very nice and helpful in discussing potential causes for the moisture.

Person from Kesterson showed up within agreed upon time frame, took a look at the toilet and realized very quickly (10 minutes) that a rubber band within the water tank was never removed and was causing the toilet to run. So, I'm happy that my toilet no longer wastes water, but not happy that 10 minute work in which an old rubber band was removed from the tank cost $168.50. Definitely happy with the honesty and performance of the worker, just dissatisfied with the price of having him come out.

excellent company in every way?.they tried to get to me as quickly as their schedules allowed and thus came promptly the first thing the next day?.the two gentlemen who responded arrived exactly on time, were extremely courteous and competent, and figured out a solution to a difficult situation in reaching the back of a built-in refrigerator that was left without access to the cutoff valve for the water source (ridiculous of the builder to do this) which was leaking (and it was impossible to move the appliance without otherwise tearing up the framing around it); they also quickly diagnosed the leak from the bathroom and fixed it quickly?.i would highly recommend Kesterson's to anyone?gregg murphy

I had a leak in my laundry room that was caused by my10 year old Sears Kenmore water heater. I called Kesterson, we set a date and they called on the way and arrived well within their window. Paul and Ian arrived. They drained the old heater, pulled it out, shop-vac'd the area, plopped in the new one and cleaned up after themselves. They were done within 1.5 hours. They also provided me advice on proper maintenance of the heater and tightened the drippy hot water spigot behind my washer. This was Kesterson's third visit to my 1960s-era home but it will not be their last. As a woman home-owner I can not tell you how many "plumbers from h***" I've had over the last 30 years. I had one suggest I replace all the pipes in my home. I've also had to hire second plumbers to fix what first plumbers screwed up (sadly more than once). So, for me to find a genuine, local and RELIABLE plumber is golden! They may cost a bit more than the big box installers but it was completely drama free and worth every penny. And I was able to use $100 Angies List coupon on a water heater replacement.

Late one night when we discovered a leak we called Kesterson and were connected with Scott. He was excellent over the phone and helped us handle the leak for the night without having to come out. Doing this saved us a lot of money as the night emergency rates are pretty high. We'd been dealing with the leak for several weeks and a previous provider had identified it as coming from our A/C system rather than the plumbing. The next morning Scott came to our home and immediately identified the issue. Because of the location of the leak we had to have an HVAC person come out and remove some duct work and Scott and Kesterson were amazing at working around the schedule of the HVAC guy to come back and repair the leak. Overall the work appears excellent, the response time was excellent and we had a great experience with Scott (and that's not often easy to say about a plumber!)

They came out and had to cut a patch in our main drainage pipe to snake the main line under the house. Jason, the tech was knowledgeable and friendly. He took care of the clogged pipe and patched the drainage line. He was here a few hours and worked hard. I appreciated his expertise and deamnor through the whole visit. Even though the work took longer than expected the price was what he quoted.

The sewer replacement was completed within a day and the yard reseeded the next day. 3 months later I had a sewage backup. They cleared it and said the cause was the connection between my line and the main line under the street. As their contract only required them to go to the curb, they said that it was not their problem and that I should contact the city. I was able to get the city to conduct an exploratory dig. They found that is was indeed the connection to the main line, but it was in my yard (by 3 feet) and was therefore part of Kesterson's legal obligation to have repaired/replaced. The city repaired the section anyway. Kesterson did a poor job and failed to honor their warranty as well as their original contract.

The plumber, Griffin, arrived on time and politely introduced himself. He assessed the problem and explained to me what needed to be done. The plumbing here is old and can be difficult to work with, it required several trips up and down three flights of stairs to his truck, but Griffin did a terrific job and drain is now clear, and it is dry as a bone under my sink. Thank you!

Everything went fine. Technician was punctual, allowed me to watch his work, had the necessary heavy-duty snake on his truck, made some good suggestions, and successfully completed the work. He was polite, friendly, and professional.

The service was very good. I am going to use them again.

I had an emergency plumbing need (flooded toilet that required snaking) for my one bed/bath home on a Saturday and Kesterson sent out Jonah as quickly as possible to take care of things. Within 30 minutes the job was done, tested and Jonah even put in a new fill valve for me in the meantime. I was so grateful for his rapid and effective assistance.

I had two different visits from Kesterson within a two week period. I wanted to use them as they are neighbors, but I first ensured they had good reviews on Angie's List. The first visit was to remove the back flow prevention valve. I simply do not have the arm strength to do that so had to pay the hour of service ($168.50) to have it done. Since it didn't take very long, Paul, and his helper Ian, spent some time giving me helpful tips for other plumbing challenges (I will tackle some plumbing tasks, including replacing toilets and sinks, and unclogging drains). I very much appreciated their advice as well as their professionalism, and the fact that they didn't talk down to me as a woman. Within days after that visit, my hot water tank leaked. I established that it had rusted out (over 20 years old), so I purchased one myself, and Ben then installed it. He did the job in about an hour and three-fourths, and took time to explain to me the nuances of the particular heater I purchased. I did have to wait a few days to get appointments as they were quite busy, but I will call on them in the future when I need a plumber.

After looking at reviews and getting estimates from two places, we decided to go with Kesterson for a water heater replacement. Our old water heater was in a very hard to reach location so they came out to do an estimate, presented it to us the next morning, and were easy to work with to find a time that worked for us and the building to schedule the work. The project was more difficult than first thought given the location, but the guys stuck with it and did a good job. We were very happy with their work and responsiveness and will use them again in the future. I would definitely recommend Kesterson to others.

rly clean. Only small problem was they set the water heater temp below the spec. Kesterson sent another technician out within a day of request to reset the temp more appropriately. They were the only provider wiling to tackle the small carpentry job - much appreciated. The office staff was not as responsive in notifying me about things proactively, but it all worked out.

They were quick clean and professional

One of the first times I used one of the toilets after repair, the toilet ran. It was a stuck fill lever, but having paid as much as I did for repairs, it would have been nice for them to inspect other aspects for replacement need while they were there. Otherwise work was fine.

I've used Kesterson's for 3 jobs since buying my house last year. They had done the plumbing work on the house previously, and were recommended by the prior owner. So far we've had them replace an old hot water heater, fix some radiator problems, and replace a broken toilet flange. We've worked with Omar and he has done a great job every time. I will definitely continue using Kesterson's in the future.

They were very professional. They did a very complete service. Everything worked out very well for me. They made recommendations and that was kind of a standup also. There were things that I didn't know that could be done that they could do for me so they made recommendations of things they could help me out with. Most of which I didn't need but there was one thing I did and they were very helpful.
