They talked us through getting the pipe to stop leaking for the moment until they could come out. They scheduled us on the agreed upon time 24 hours after we called. They did not show up at scheduled time. When we called to ask why they hadn’t not come to our scheduled appointment they said sorry we cannot come until the following day (mind you we had no water for 24 hours at this point). The woman on the phone was very rude. We called a brand new plumber who had it fixed within 2 hours of our call.

Glenn showed up on time and was great. He was very quick knew what he was doing and checked his work. Great service

I was very pleased with the service. When I called they were upfront that they could not come for 2 days, which was OK with me. Before arriving, Scott called to obtain more information on my issue in an effort to ensure he had the proper supplies and equipment on his truck. He arrived when he said he would and was very pleasant. I initially thought the valve packing needed to be replaced in three valves, but Scott "turned a wrench" on the packing nuts and stopped all leaks. I showed him the valve that needed to be replaced and he had the work done in short order. He was professional, straightforward and did not try to sell me services that I did not need. This was appreciated. I will definitely use Kesterson again for my plumbing needs.

Not only were they on time the contractor, Glen, came early. A previous company suggested that I replace my boiler at a cost of about $4,000.00. Glen took one look at it and said that it still has several good years of use. After trouble shooting he concluded that he could fix it for under $100. He ordered the part and was back to make the fix a few days later. I could not be happier with this company and have already recommended them to my family.

I had to have them come out on a weekend at the very last minute and they were able to accommodate me. They were very professional and resolved the issue right away.

They seemed to delay the whole process. Well I guess the burden is, you call them out for what I thought was a simple job and they come and give you a quote, instead to they go and come back another day, which kinda delays it when I have a clogged up pipe in the kitchen, you know you kinda expect the plumber to come and do the job, you know give you a quote and do the job, right at that same time, and not to make it separate for a simple job.

It took much too long. To improve they need to give faster service and be better prepared for home visits. They had to made three home visits, which I thought was way too much. One for an estimate, you know they came, made an estimate and they didn't finish it right, they just- they made it very long and expensive. They showed up on time.

Terrible. Had a estimate performed. When I called back with questions, I was asked to leave a message for the one person who could answer them. I called back 3 days later to get a response to my questions, and still couldn't get a response. A week later, I received a response which prompted additional questions. After asking those questions, I didn't receive a response. I called back a week later trying to get a response to my questions, and told person on the phone that I want them to perform the service but I need my questions answered. Never received a response to my call, and gave up after 1 month of waiting.

The garbage disposer couldn't be repaired so they ended up replacing it. Paul and Sherman had a new appliance with them, so I was spared the inconvenience of making another appointment and taking another day off. They were courteous and competent and worked quickly, and the job was done in less than an hour. They wore booties. I would have preferred to see them don the booties at my doorstep instead of at their truck, but I appreciate the demonstration of respect for my home nonetheless. The price was a little high, in my opinion: 2-3 times what I paid a plumber the last time I needed a garbage disposer.

They are definitely excellent. We use them a lot. They are pretty much our go to company. They are not too far away so they can come by pretty easily within the next day. I’m a happy customer.

The plumber was able to clean our hot water heater and get it started again. We were happy with the quick and reliable weekend service. With guests in town, it was very helpful.

I used Kesterson Plumbing & Heating Inc. I just talked to them on the phone this morning. They did that work about three weeks ago.

He did clean out one of the faucet but he did not resolve a problem. He did do some nice work in the basement and garage.

I requested a visit to handle a leaky toilet - suspected the wax ring, but I don't actually know plumbing. Ben came right at the start of my window, and shortly discovered that previous owners had foolishly grouted the toilet into place. He explained my options clearly: have him chip away the grout to access the toilet, knowing the toilet could crack/break during the chipping, and paying the hourly rate for him to do that, or just get a new toilet at a flat cost and not stress about how the old one is removed or how many hours of labor will be involved. Winner. He came back a few days later, got the old toilet out and the new one in, which involved a lot of effort to cut away tiles to accommodate the different footprint of the new toilet, all the while working in my cramped, old bathroom, and overall did a great job. Also, I was right about the wax ring.

I contacted Kesterson's via email over Memorial Day weekend. I explained that I needed service but that it wasn't an emergency. They got back to me first thing Tuesday morning and set a time on Wednesday afternoon for their plumber to come. He arrived right on time and fixed the problem quickly. He was competent and polite. I'd use Kesterson's again without hesitation.

The repair was completed to my satifsfaction and knowing they standby their work I feel confident that we can go ahead with reconstruction, including major dry wall replacement. In all they were professional, knew what they were doing, and certainly the price was fair. I would definitely use Kesterson again.

I've used Kesterson in the past and been pleased with their professionalism, responsiveness and punctuality, so naturally they were my first choice when it came time for more plumbing work in my house. On April 21, Mike came to provide an estimate to replace a bathroom sink, among other items. He was professional and thoughtful, and promised to provide a written estimate via email the next day. After more than a week, I still had received no estimate. After calling they promised to provide it and apologized that they've been really busy. Not a big deal -- we all get busy. But then, they called me back later that day to say that Mike had made a mistake with the measurements and that they needed to come back to re-measure the sink as his measurements were off. When I asked for them to come that Friday, I was told their estimator didn't work on Fridays. So, we rescheduled for the following Tuesday, April 28. In rescheduling this estimate for the 9am-10am window, I was explicit with the operator that I needed to be the first morning appointment at 9am on Tuesday, April 28 as I had a 10am meeting I needed to get to. She assured me that she'd mark down that I needed to be the first morning appointment on Tuesday the 28. I assumed they'd honor that as I'm less than two miles from their office and this would be a quick measure to make sure the sink dimensions were right. Instead, Steve the estimator called me at 9:53am to tell me he was 5 minutes away. This would have put him at my location with only two minutes left in my appointment window. I declined the appointment, as I had a 10am meeting I'd already made Kesterson aware of. To date, no one has called me to apologize, to reschedule, or anything. I appreciate that we all get busy and don't always have control of our own time, but I am displeased with how this company has handled this. The message Kesterson is sending is that they don't want/need my business, and I suspect that's contrary to how the owner would feel. Reputation, reliability and word of mouth are essential in any service business and I want to remind Kesterson that ultimately, they provide plumbing service to their customers.

My positive experience with Kesterman began with a phone call to them. The person who answered the phone was professional and helpful. It was easy to make an appointment for a time that was convenient for me. (I called rather than booking online because I had some questions.) The plumber arrived on time and was quick, clean, and a pleasure to deal with. He explained what he was going to do and why. I live in a high rise condo and we have to reserve times to shut off the water which can happen only on certain days and within a certain timeframe. So it was important to me that I be able to arrange the appointment within these constraints and that the plumber arrive during the water shut-off window. This is second time I've had Kesterman do plumbing work for me and I'll call them again the next time I need a plumber.

Kesterson Plumbing & Heating Inc is an oasis in a desert of plumbers! They were absolutely wonderful. Their prices were remarkably competitive, and they were excellent in every aspect in the service they provided. I would most strongly recommend them. I have never found any other company that could even compete with them.

Upon the recommendation of a neighbor, we set up an appointment with Kesterson in the hopes that they would be more familiar with the older plumbing in our Alexandria row house than another plumber we had used the week before. We weren't disappointed. Scott was everything you would want in a plumber: detail oriented, thorough, and good at communicating what he found--and how he was addressing it. This guy is a true craftsman--he found uncovered earlier, substandard work done by other plumbers, and cleaned up after their mistakes. No corners were cut--everything was done exactly as it was supposed to be. I contacted Kesterson after a previous plumber diagnosed a couple of our problems as requiring expensive fixes--including a hole in our walls. Scott determined none of this was necessary, and fixed multiple issues at half the price of a competitor. He even found additional problems with our aging plumbing that our home inspector did not detect--and addressed them at a minimal cost. Kesterson Plumbing provides nothing less than peace of mind -- I highly recommend them!
