Very well--and quickly!

They were very professional. The plumber that was sent out showed up on time and was very polite. He cleaned up when he was done and then left. Overall, it was a very good experience! I would hire them again for any future plumbing needs.

They weren't punctual. I told them what the work was going to be but they didn't come prepared. Overall the work they did was OK but I wasn't highly impressed.

They stopped the leak and turned the water off. They did a good job coming promptly and stopping the immediate leak.

The plumbing still never worked right after they came out, it just doesn't flush very well. Other work they did prior to that was satisfactory.

Overall, I wasn't impressed with their estimate. I contacted three different plumbing firms for estimates and their bid above and beyond the highest. Their estimate came in nearly two times the cost of the lowest bid and nearly 20 percent higher than the third bid I received. Plus, the estimate I received included little detail on what would and what wouldn't be included in this price. It just had a simple, one hand-written line stating it would replace the pipe (no detail or mention of obtaining permits, what would be done to back fill the yard, whether or not a near by fence would need to be moved, etc.).

This all happened a year ago, so I've calmed my anger a bit. Still, there's NO chance I would recommend this company. I hounded them until they repaired somethings, blew off the ridiculous idea of tearing apart my new (expensive) washer and dryer and got a tube of touchup paint from LG instead, and just caved on other minor things. Decent plumbing work, except the glue drips. LOUSY on the rest of it, although they sort of half tried to make it better, once I hounded them quite a bit.

Within 1 week I had 3 service calls to them. They had to keep coming out to fix things. It was the same problem, just had to come back again because they didn't fix it. I would give them an "A" for quality on the first issue and visit I had. The next 3 visits were graded with "C." It seems to just depend on who is sent out.

Service provider Rick arrived on time. He looked around under the sink, mopped up some of the water and reported that I had two problems, the line from the dishwasher to the drain was loose and I needed a new garbage disposal. He fixed the dishwasher drain line on the spot with a screwdriver. I told him I liked the Kenmore brand for the disposal. He told me I should go buy one myself and then reschedule with the company for him to come and put it in. I was startled at the amount of the estimate to install the disposal, $264, but since I now couldn't use the kitchen sink at all, and I didn't want to start again with a new company so I agreed. Plumbing Express had gotten good reviews on the list after all. I got the disposal that morning, called the company back and was given a time range for service the next day. I got a call that morning that they could come earlier, which was great. Rick worked to install the disposal, but about 20 minutes into it he stopped and told me it was going to be more work than estimated. I would need additional pipe to reach the disposal from the wall and also a new P-trap in a slightly different configuration. Again, I didn't want to start over from square one with a new contractor with the disposal installation half completed, but I was now uneasy. He finished the install after getting some pipe from his truck. He wrote up the invoice and it was now $464. This was in addition to the $30 I paid the first day for the initial call. Maybe I am out of touch with plumbing costs, but I feel this was too much to charge for less than an hour's work. I particularly dislike feeling taken advantage of. Yuck.

Water was backing up during routine showers and would always drain just very slowly. I called for an appointment the next day. I was given an 8:00-10:00 am window. Plumber arrived right at 10:00 am and in short order, using an electric auger, cleaned the cause of the slow drainage.

Wonderful!!! I called the business at 8:45am, at 9:30 I received a phone call that the plumber was on his way. At 10:00 the plumber called and said he went the wrong way to our house (a common mistake as our street is 4 sections and they do not connect). He was at my house shortly after and the work was completed by 11:30 am. Chris was courteous and put on shoe covers when he came into the house to protect my rug. He did the job wonderfully and he cleaned up afterwards. He really takes pride in doing a job well done and is very professional but also personable.

Awesome, the repair person was knowledgeable, and did a great job. So much so, I recommended them to my daughter when she had a leak with her washer.

They did an excellent job. Their drywall and painting restoration was so good that I couldn't tell anything had been done. They re-plumbed the entire house in about 8 hours. I was shocked that it went so fast. They knew exactly what they were doing. I won't hire anyone else to do my plumbing. I have 4 bathrooms. The price was excellent.

Efficient, timely and informative!!

They did a really good job but I had a few problems along the way. First they started two days before Thanksgiving and then they said they would have everything at least patched together by Thanksgiving but it didn't turn out like that.

They were very clean and careful, despite how big the project was because it was the whole house. They were in and out and the job was done. They also gave us a 25 year warranty which I love. I would recommend them for any plumbing job.

I spoke to a lady in the office that was friendly and professional, but said the person that could answer my questions specifically was in a meeting. She said he would call me back and I still haven't had a returned phone call from him and am disappointed with the follow through.

The estimator, Kirk, was very professional and thorough. He seemed knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The re-piping team (3 people) started early on a Friday morning & finished in one day. They seemed hard working and efficient and were friendly to my 3 year old son. My only complaints were that they called us on the day on the project asking us to let them in earlier than scheduled (we had not moved into the house yet), & they left a bit of mess behind--mostly dust from cutting the drywall. The painting team (2 people) started early the following Monday & also finished their work in 1 day. Again they called wanting us to let them in early. The patchwork was beautiful & undetectable, but they were not able to match the paint on the ceilings which I didn't notice until the next day. We had to have them come back to fix the problem. The painter was obviously a bit annoyed about returning, but did a much better job. They also left a bit of a mess, but nothing major.

Very well, the plumber was very courteous and friendly. He also provided education on potential future problems and the important functions of the temperature pressure valve.

The pressure-reducing valve for the house was leaking, and we were without water for the entire house, so it was an emergency. After calling a few smaller companies and getting no one, I picked Plumbing Express from Angie's list and the phone book. The representative on the phone was extremely polite, and gave me a four hour window from that time, then called back within an hour to say that someone was on the way to look at the problem. The plumber showed up within a half hour, quickly assessed the problem, showed me his printed price list with an exact price for the job, and went to work when I authorized it. He completed the job in less than an hour, including cleaning up and writing the bill. My whole problem was solved in about two and a half hours from the time I first called; can't beat that!

Plumbing Express responded very quickly to our emergency call when our pipes burst. They came out that morning, gave us a detailed estimate, and juggled their schedule so they could start work two days after the pipes burst. They started the job at 8:30 AM and worked until it was finished, at 9:30 PM. The drywall/paint crew started work the following day, and finished a week later.

I called to tell them I had a clogged toilet that would not refill. It took almost a week to find a mutually convenient time for them to come out, and I received a 4 hour window. The plumber came to the house, on time, literally looked at the toilet (did not inspect under the lid, the water table, etc- he just looked at it), then flushed once, and began preparing an estimate for $409. I asked if, since he had only basically glanced at the toilet, it was possible that it could be another problem. He said no, that it was the ''main line,'' and that he would have to take the toilet off and the reset the toilet. I told him that I was going to get another estimate. I immediately contacted another company the type-rated plumber in the area on Angie's list (I hadn't consulted Angie's list prior to calling the first plumber). They were able to come out the following morning and perform the work for $89.

On time, considerate and personable. We called several plumbers for estimate and they were competitive. I felt safe with them in my house and would have them back if needed.

The on-site consultation was great. Salesman Tony Signorelli explained the entire process of the re-pipe, talked about when water would not be available in the house, what the construction would entail, etc. The work was performed as scheduled and as promised. Debris was kept to a minimum, and the disruption to our household was minimal thanks to the outstanding effort from the crew. They even went above and beyond, for example they installed a removable access panel behind the shower in case we ever needed to get to the shower fittings. The plastering of holes and repainting was extremely professional, we can't even tell where work was performed. In addition, their quote was slightly less than another company that quoted the job.

They came the day I called, which was refreshing. He came out and was very efficient and did it right.
