Ash Cleaning & Restoration

The carpet cleaner was very efficient and did an excellent job. I asked if he could run the cleaning equipment over the dining room cushions on three chairs (one cushion per chair), but he told me I had to ask owner and that he thought it would be $25 per chair. That seemed excessive so I did not do. Three other people were involved in the actual cleaning. They did a good job. The only suggestion I had was that they vacuum under the beds. All in all the service was good and the price was competitive with other cleaners in the area.

Arrived late. Appointment was at 9 am and showed up at 9:30 with no phone call. Had to call main company for status. Carpets cleaned to satisfaction.

They arrived on time and quickly steamed the carpets I'm happy with the result.

They were 1.5 hours late! They did not clean the house as they should have. Brought a vacuum, never used it. Clean some of the windows, not all. Had to come back out to clean the soap scum in the bathrooms, but did not have anything strong enough to clean it so I had to come back and clean it myself! If you are looking for professional cleaning, do not go with this company! On the positive side, the carpet cleaner arrived I the time window specified. He did a GREAT job! The carpet still looks good even after moving in. We will definitely call them again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were really good. I was very pleased with them. I was really pleased that there were no extra charges. They did a really good job. There were two people that came. They were courteous and respectful. They explained in detail what they were doing. They were quick. I could tell a big difference. They were able to get out several stains. It took take a while to dry for the thicker carpet downstairs.

Cleaning went well - there seems to have been confusion regarding Angie's List Deal and minimum charge required. Called 1-855 number and seems to have been resolved.

William was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything in the timeframe on the drying.

Amazing work. one maid cleaned house from top to bottom. Carpet guys showed up next and made carpets look new. Removed pet stains. I never thought would come out.

Setting up the service was very easy. I called, someone answered, and we were set up in a few minutes. I received an email shortly thereafter confirming my service. The cleaners were scheduled for a 3 hour window with the carpet cleaning scheduled for a 3 hour window on a 1 hour delay. However, the carpet cleaner showed up first, near the start of the carpet cleaning window. He took a look at the carpets but didn't want to start until after the cleaners started (which made perfect sense and was the intention). He left and did an errand. He came back about 45 minutes later, and the cleaners still hadn't arrived. I called the cleaners (it seems he did, too), and was told they were on their way. They arrived about 15 minutes after their 3 hour window. That wouldn't have been so bad, but with the carpet cleaner being on time, it was inconvenient. I was surprised the service wasn't better coordinated since it was from the same company. The carpet cleaner was friendly and asked questions. The general cleaners came in and barely said a word. I thought we'd chat for a minute about what they would do before they started, but they went straight to work. The two women didn't seem to speak much English, but did ask me one question later on in English. From what I could see the cleaners did, I was impressed at the time (climbing up to get high cabinets, etc.). However, I couldn't see much of their work because the carpet cleaning was going on, too. It seems they generally did everything the Big Deal stated they would (cleaning out ovens, fridge, bathrooms, etc.) The type of cleaner used didn't leave things shiny, but that happens. After they left, I noticed a few small areas I considered missed (for example, the sink was clean but not the side of the sink and the front of the microwave was clean, but not right underneath it on an over-the-range type.) Just a couple little things like that that I would have done differently if I had cleaned it myself but not unreasonable to miss. The only complaint I have is that they must have wiped everything into the sink in the kitchen. The garbage disposal was full and junk that wasn't there before that had to be fished out. That was gross. The carpets looked great. They weren't terribly dirty to start with, but the only spots I noticed before were gone. They cleaned a townhouse, which has half-carpeted steps, and all were cleaned without any problem (or upcharge). Again, the carpet cleaner was very friendly, professional, and did a great job. For the carpet cleaning alone, I'd give an A.

We have had them for many years. They are great. They have outstanding values, the rates they charge are extremely reasonable. We have a monthly service. They come the first Wednesday of every month. But if we ever need to change that they are extremely gracious and flexible in moving the appointment to the following Wednesday or whenever we need it to be moved to. They never missed an appointment, they have never left us hanging. Dependability is obviously key when you are trying to get to school and get to work, you can't wait around for a service to show up. And they do a good job. We have been with them for many, many years.

Ash Cleaners were on time but because they did not speak English I felt they did not do all I expected. The carpet cleaners arrived & worked quickly & thoroughly.
