Great Falls Septic Service has always been extremely responsive and provide great service. We will continue to use their services.

Overall a positive experience. We had a few mishaps getting service, but they made it right, knew what they were doing and took care of what needed to be taken care of.

Stewart's turned out to be a excellent choice. They arrived exactly as promised. I made the appointment over the phone and was told the technician would arrive between 10am and 12 noon. He arrive shortly after 10am. Fairfax County notified us that our tank needed to be pumped (we've only been here less than 2 years) so this was a routine service and not an emergency, but they scheduled our appointment within a few days of my call. Before he started any work, the technician let me know that the condition of the septic tank cover had deteriorated due to weathering and let me know that there was a chance it could break when he lifted it. I gave my permission to proceed, but I really appreciated know that ahead of time that I might have to replace the cover ASAP if it cracked or broke apart. The technician carefully dug around the lid and lifted it without problems. The waste removal was done quickly and very thoroughly, and I was charged exactly what was quoted to me. An all-around good experience with an extremely professional and capable company. Highly recommended.

Stewarts came promptly and determined the pumps had to be replaced. After further investigation there was concern about the viability of the tanks The county inspector was alerted. There were more discussions. The Stewart crew helped us reach a conclusion which satisfied the county and us. They are both very professional and easy to work with. Kay Lippman

Good Job overall. The only issue I have is that I was not called back.

Technician and truck arrived on scheduled day and actually earlier than time window. The lid of the tank was located with a long metal probe tool and dug up. The lid was removed and a long vacuum hose was placed into the tank to remove the material. Tank was rinsed out with the hose and remaining residue was vacuumed from the tank. A toilet was flushed several times to ensure proper flow into the tank. The tank lid was replaced and the hole was refilled with the dirt and grass. Overall a thorough job and the dug up area looked fine. Office staff and technician were friendly and informative. Homeowner was given the proper paperwork to mail to the county for their records. I will definitely contact this company again for the nest pumping or repair. A+ service, highly recommended.

Everything was explained well when I made the appointment, including the process, time required and cost. The man who did the work showed up early, worked efficiently cleaned up afterward. As I'm new to septic tanks, he explained each step of the process and checked to see if I had any more questions before he left.

They did excellent work. They are very knowledgeable, did quality work, and had great attention to detail. I had complete confidence that they would do great quality work.

They did very well. The guy was prompt and he told me what was going to happen. He did it and came back and told me what he did. I was pleased with the price. I didn't have high expectations since it was a septic tank. He showed up on time and was very professional. He told me what he was going to do and how long it was going to take. I had such a great experience that I told my neighbor and they used them.

They gave me the best price quote, arrived promptly at the appointment time, completed the job and left the work area in a very neat, clean condition. Very good service even though the weather was hot and humid that day.

When I called Stewart's, I was put on the phone directly with the owner. I requested verification that work identified by Great Falls Septic AND the Fairfax County inspector was indeed needed. Stewart's came out promptly and determined that our system was in compliance and that the recommended work was not necessary. Stewarts did, however, observe that there was sludge in the tank even though GF Septic had pumped it out less than one month before. Stewart's re-pumped and cleaned the tank for 1/2 the price that GF septic had charged us (their normal rate). They replaced the lid on our pump chamber and all looks good. I would recommend Stewarts to anyone.

It was a good experience. They did a good job and they came when they said they would. I would use them again. Their pricing was competitive.

. Our house was built at a time when there was a moratorium on a public sewer in this area. So we do have a septic tank and we are very happy with it. We even had it serviced. A pipe broke underneath the cross base and we ended up waking up to a flood in our family room bathroom and that we don't live with it. We contacted the insurance company but we had to pay for most of it. We had 12000 gallons of water underneath in our cross base. This is just in one night. STEWART SEPTIC came out and pumped all of that out. They had to make a number of trips. Though the insurance company paid for it STEWART SEPTIC was very reasonable for what they charged. They closed off all the water pipes coming into the house. From Monday through Thursday we had to manage without water. We will use them in the future. We need to service it every five years which is $180. Our water bill for 3 months at a time is $24 while everyone else has their bill at 100s because they have public sewer.

Went better than expected. The distribution box was missing a flow adjuster which was creating a large wet area in the back yard. They fixed that and now the system works as designed and the back yard is dry again.

The service went well. They rushed out to see problem because our alarm was conitnuing to go off. Once diagnosed they quickly got me a quote and performed the repair on a Saturday.

This company was highly recommended to me by various neighbors as a "family" business so I was patient with several weeks of phone tag between three different company reps in trying to schedule septic tank cleaning. Apparently their phones were impacted by bad weather in the area which was understandable. Their price was fine and we scheduled an appointment for 1 pm on May 11. I called them at 2 to see where they were and was informed that they were unable to come due to "things we cannot control." Apparerently a message was left sometime after 11 am which was not received. They had my work and cell numbers. My husband had taken the day off to wait for them so I requested that the cleaning be rescheduled at a time when we would NOT have to take the day off (we both work) and suggested after 4 pm or on a weekend, as an accomodation to our loss of a day's pay. Their representative flatly refused. This does not suggest a "family" business attitude. I was taken aback, particularly since I had been extremely patient with their previous phone issues as I wanted to use a company that had been recommended vice a larger company. If I were to handle my business in this fashion, I would have been fired for both my attitude toward my customer and my failure to complete a job. I would not recommend this company for the above reasons.

Great service - arrived when they said they would!

our pump alarm went off and I called Stewart based on reviewes on this site. They were punctual, curteous and very informative. They did a whole system review and found a short in the system and fixed it quickly. will definetly call them again.

The overall experience with them was excellent. They are very reliable and knowledgeable. They are punctual and professional. I will use their service in the future.

Serviceman very friendly, professional, knowledgeable; this was first time we've had our system pumped so he had to find the openings, figure out how many/what system we were on...kept it all in a very reasonable price even though I'm sure he could have charged more for the extra work.

We were putting the house in the market, so we had to get it up to code. We have used them only once. They were competent and courteous. They did a fair amount of work and were good to work with. They were reasonably priced considering what they had to do. They even got us in touch with somebody who did tree work. I had interactions with other tree people, but the ones introduced to me by Stewart's did it at a much lower price than the others. I have nothing negative to say about Stewart's Septic Service.

The service was scheduled at my convenience. The serviceman arrived on time , was pleasant and did a nice job. Price was as quoted.

I consider Stewarts to be our trusted source of septic care for our home. Their last visit was for a routine pumping and inspection, but the visit before that was quite a serious repair visit upon move-in to our home. The former owner had used a different septic company and had disabled the alarms that the home inspector discovered that once reconnected were alarming constantly. Stewarts diagnosed the problems and repaired them fairly--the different septic company that had previously always come to this address put in a lower bid for the work, but since they were a part of the problem, we steered clear of them. The serious nature of the repair at move-in required digging up the front yard, but Stewart's did a good job putting the yard back together again. Stewarts took great care to educate us on septic systems, since we moved from a sewer line neighborhood. Stewarts seems to be a family business and a business that cares about having relationships that will be longstanding with its customers. We are pleased and plan to keep doing business with them.
